I had Comfort Consultants install a new thermostat last May 2025. I called and complained for several months that the Heat Pump was not operating properly, that I was experiencing extremely high electric bills and I believed that the thermostat was not wired properly. Finally in November 2025, the tech found that he had wired the thermostat incorrectly and rewired the thermostat. The tech added 3 pounds of refrigerant on one visit in October with dye and one pound of refrigerant on the next visit in November. After experiencing continued poor performance from the Heat Pump and high electric bills, I continued to complained to Comfort Consultants and was told that the owner would get back with me. He has never reached out to me. In March 2026, I had a contractor from another company inspect my system and found that I had no refrigerant in the system. The tech from Comfort Consultants failed to discover the source of this problem resulting in many months of high electric bills and irreversible damage to the unit as a result of running non-stop. Would not recommend this company. read more
