The lighting here is exquisite. From table lamps to sconces to floor lamps to chandeliers to lanterns and hanging/pendant light fixtures, this shop has it all. Whatever your style, they've got you covered: Asian, Retro, Wrought iron, Modern, Classic, Contemporary, Nautical, Boho and more. Yes, they are more pricey that your average home décor store, but the quality is superb. And talk about being shady... the selection of lamp shades is massive! They will even help you choose the perfect shade for your lamp, just bring it in. The have a nice selection of finials and bulbs too! The repairs take at least a week or two, and are again, are costly, but I have quite a few antique lamps and I trust them to do the work. The metal fixture and the shade feel and look cheap and flimsy in person. The color of the shade is described as a deep tan but it is actually grey with green undertones. However, what annoys me the most is that they charged me $29 for shipping and now to return the light I have to purchase a return label from them. I will not be a returning customer. I had ridiculously bad luck finding an electrician, including being charged for an estimate(!), then thinking I'd found someone (nope... he disappeared), then got an estimator to visit from Davis & Green (never heard from him again) and this delayed our work. Then my sister, a realtor, said her colleagues had had good experience with SmartWire. I called them, spoke to a very nice receptionist who said she'd have their estimator call, and... amazingly... she DID call back that afternoon. Faith runs the show and is a lovely person. Even likes rescue dogs (like mine), and gave me an estimate that was right in line with my expectations. Her guys showed up right on time and were polite, knowledgeable, and very good to deal with. They did the work as perfectly as it could have been done and finished in a day and a few hours the next to label the new panel. They even provided a generator so I could work while they had the power off. This is a friendly, conscientious, hard-working, very reasonable group and they COMMUNICATE well! If you've been overseeing work on your home, you'll likely understand how important that is. I'm having them back in to run more new circuits up to the second floor and back to the garage. Faith and Daniel are good folks and you won't regret having them in your home. I feel very confident in their skill and trust their judgement on the best ways to go about even complex work like retrofitting a century-old pile of stucco like my old house. The sales person spent a lot of time with me to understand exactly the style I wanted and suggested a much less expensive option without sacrificing quality. I am thrilled with the products and service. If you shop there, it's helpful to take magazines or photos of what you want. Don't run out the door in terror with some of the prices- they offer more affordable options. When talking with the sales person, be honest to discuss budget because they will work with you. Be mindful that these are quality products. While the prices are higher than the big box stores, the products will last much longer so they are actually cheaper. It's painful to spend a lot of money on a renovation and then after a few years, the finish on the faucets is wearing off and leaking. Go with quality products! Wow, I never thought that I could be so excited about plumbing products and bodily functions.

Not only did she completely rewire my chandelier, but she also thoroughly cleaned it and replaced missing crystals, bringing it back to its former glory.
