The basic channa double with tamarind sauce and mango chutney was so soft and perfectly sweet and tangy. The oxtail and goat curry were also good, but the channa was far superior---which says a lot since I love meat. I like the softer texture of doubles more than the thicker aloo pie and thinner/dryer roti. And considering how affordable every item is, I would definitely come back if I am around the area!

I wasn't too sure which drink to get as I wasn't sure what they all tasted like. Chose the Seamoss drink, which is a mix of milk, seams, nutmeg, and some spices. Milky and not overly sweet. This was good. Maybe next time I'll get sorrel, which is hibiscus. They said the peanut drink is good too. Ordered Pholourie with tamarind sauce. These are fried savory dough balls. I couldn't resist getting a sweet treat. So, I randomly picked the salara bread, which looks like a cinnamon swirl bread slice. It is actually stuffed with shredded coconut that is colored red and tastes like cherry. Pretty good and not overly sweet. Definitely add this place to your list of eats in Queens. The Chocolate Pistachio Truffles by Antica Torroneria Piemontese were 32% off the original price. Each chocolate was wrapped individually and were somewhat sticky when I tried them out. The pesto chips by Tartuflanghe that Eataly carried were 35% off. It was somewhat pricy even after the discount. It was originally $10.99 and with the discount it was brought down to $7.19. The pesto chips were tempting but I decided to not get them. The Grisbi Hazelnut Cream by Vicenzi was really good when I tried them out. They were mini hazelnut cream filled pies.
