Hang town taxi makes you feel comfortable because they are decent local people driving you home (or wherever). When you call and the driver says "is that the big blue house with lots of stairs?", that makes you feel special! And then when you get into the car and he remembers you gave him a bottle of Jagermeister 3 years ago when you went home from a white elephant Christmas party!!! That's LOVE!!! She booked me for the cheapest accommodation on Norwegian and did not explain any options for upgrading my cruise. When I saw options on the cruise website afterwards, I tried to call and email the agent, but she was unresponsive. That's when I learned, the hard way, that once you book a cruise through an agent, it becomes a contract, and the cruise company will no longer work with you directly. Reluctantly, I made a second appointment to see the agent, because I wanted to upgrade my booking. She was not in the office when I arrived, and I was told she had just stepped out and would be back shortly. I waited 20 minutes. When she finally did return, she was carrying take-out lunch for her and her husband, and kept me waiting another 15 minutes while they ate in his office. She denied this, but I could clearly see them in the reflection of a glass window/door. I told her I didn't feel we were a good match and asked her if she would voluntarily release my booking with Norwegian, but she refused. Highly unprofessional. I have myself to blame for not doing my research ahead of time. Next time I will seek reviews or asked friends for recommendations.

We just bought a new Travel trailer, so first time not tent camping, we go about 3 or 4 times a year tent camping. It was on par with the campgrounds we go to in the Tahoe area, but with a few extras like the heated pool, and the kid"s clubhouse. My 9 year old daughter loved that place, making all kinds of arts and crafts with the art teacher on staff. Also, she recently got into fishing so the pond was a nice extra. We used this place as a base camp for our usual Tahoe activities, and spent a day at our favorite Baldwin Beach. It was nice to take a free hot shower instead of tokens at the state parks. Like I said, didn't seem much different than what we are used to, so no complaints. We enjoyed the affordable food options at the ghost town, especially after getting back from Tahoe, and not feeling like cooking. As we continue our new R.V. life, I'm sure we will get to see the more upscale places, but this place was fine for our current needs. Reminded me of my Science Camp days in school. Clearly, we needed a driver so we could get around safely and let loose a little. The Maid of Honor found this limo service, and from what she told us, she had a great experience from the moment she called to inquire about hiring them for our girl's weekend. Let me tell you, we couldn't have had had better experience! Bob was our driver both Friday and Saturday, and he couldn't have been more accommodating. Handling a large group of girls is never an easy feat, but Bob was extremely patient, understanding and extremely sweet the entire weekend. He would make sudden stops for us when we saw a place we were interested in checking out, he had a cooler full of yummy snacks for us on Saturday to keep us going throughout the day, and he walked us up to every venue to introduce us. Not to mention, he completely decorated the limo on Friday night with "Bachelorette" decor (he even brought us a bachelorette game to play!), and on Saturday the limo was decorated with pretty floral napkins. Those special touches were extremely appreciated and went above and beyond any expectations we had. From the first time I spoke with her she made it clear that it was their job to make our experience as wonderful and simple as possible. She paid great attention to details going as far as having the napkins inside the limo match the wedding colors. There were snacks and balloons and even a Bachelorette sash waiting for us when the limo arrived the first evening. Bob (our chauffeur) couldn't have been more amazing. He called ahead to every place when went over the two days to make sure they were prepared for our arrival. He was patient as 8 girls ran late everywhere we went and made sure the limo looked great every time we re-entered. We couldn't have had a better experience.
