Such a cute little hole-in-the-wall spot! Karak Café has a cozy vibe with lots of options for chai,…read morelassi, and coffee, plus a nice selection of snacks and small bites. Service was fairly quick, and there's decent seating inside, perfect for catching up with friends or relaxing solo with a drink. We tried the karak chai, which was super flavorful and refreshing, and the madras coffee -- which honestly stole the show! It tastes just like authentic filter coffee from India, rich and perfectly balanced. The bun with malai and honey was light, fluffy, and paired perfectly with our drinks -- a simple but absolutely delicious snack. Definitely recommend this spot if you love authentic chai or South Indian-style coffee -- a true hidden gem worth visiting!

I also got a mango refresher. -karak cheesesteak 5 - it is so difficult trying to find a good place that makes cheesesteaks. The one by me skimps on the meat. However, here as in the picture, you can see they were very generous with the meat. The meat was very tender and flavorful. I like that they put their own spin on the sandwich with their spices. Not spicy. -grilled tandoori chicken sandwich 5 - I gobbled this up within minutes. The chicken was very succulent. The spices and the sauce made it very tasty. -mango refresher 5 - very refreshing drink. Good size cup.

If you are looking for authentic Central Asian cuisine, Sorry Mama Cafe is a must-visit!…read moreWe ordered the hand-pulled noodles (Lagman), fresh traditional bread (Tandyr Nan), and beef kebabs (Shashlik). The Lagman was incredible -- rich, flavorful broth, tender beef, and perfectly chewy noodles. The bread came out warm, fluffy on the inside with a crisp crust, making it perfect to dip in the broth. The kebabs were juicy, well-seasoned, and paired wonderfully with sliced onions and sauce. The service was excellent -- the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is welcoming, the tea complements the meal perfectly, and the portion sizes are very generous. Highly recommended! And more park lots . 5 of 5.

You absolutely have to try the boorsok--they're freshly fried, served hot with sour cream, and are incredibly tasty. The plov was also amazing, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The gyuru lagman itself was delicious, with great flavor and perfectly prepared noodles. The only thing that could be improved was the meat. It wasn't very tender, and it seemed like it either wasn't cooked long enough or wasn't the best quality. Aside from that, the dish was very enjoyable. Overall, it's a lovely place with great hospitality and authentic, delicious food. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes!

Small and locally owned, Chef Grill is a great addition to the Elk Grove village area. It's located…read morein an industrial part of EGV which concerns me somewhat, but I really hope this place continues to thrive. Service was very slow. My group wasn't checked in on unless we stared down at the staff. The food did make up for the slow service though. I went with the staffs recommendation and tried the Adana kebab. I can completely understand why this dish is a customer favorite. It was juicy and very flavorful. Pricing is on the higher side when compared to the portion, however, the quality is there.

The aroma alone makes The Chef Grill the champion of Turkish and Mediterranean grilled cuisine. If…read moreI could bottle it, I'd put a little dabby on my neck every night before bed, and then dream I'm prancing through kebab fields in a tutu. This is a happening place. They decorated it with hanging plants, some art, a fish tank. A slight haze of smoke. Desserts on display. I'd say the finest work of art here are the prepped skewers, waiting to be thrown on their charcoal grill. My gaze was fixed on the meat display as if I was Cookie Monster at Crumbl. I composed myself and took a seat. They have great hot and cold appetizers. They have breakfast! Check out their menu, I've included a pic. Lahmacun is a crunchy brick oven flatbread with ground meat. It feels so light, airy, and crunchy, you could eat the whole thing and later say "..um, I ate the whole thing". We ordered a few King Chef's mixed grill platters. It is a medley of filet morsels, chicken, lamb chops, shawarma, shish kebab, and many other things, along with bulgar and fries. Why are their fries so good? Okay, so I know we're just talking about lemonade, but their house made lemonade is so good. We also loved their tea. We went way overboard on desserts. We just kept pointing at sharable items like John Travolta to the Bee Gees. All of the desserts were delicious. For some reason, the simplest of them, rice pudding, won the dessert battle that day. They have plenty of intriguing items that will lure me back, and I'm looking forward to it!

Rayan started by serving us a complimentary hot bowl of chicken corn soup. He gave us another bowl too! I must say everything we had tasted authentic and flavorful. They make everything in house right down to the end with deserts! We started with samosas which came out piping hot, filled nicely and not a bit greasy. I loved all the chutneys that accompanied all our dishes and soup. All the meats are halal in this establishment. We haven't had beef chapli kabobs this good in a long time. The chicken boti had a nice subtle charcoal flavor and every chicken piece was seasoned and flavored throughout not just on the top! They give you nice generous portions as well. When everything is made to order, it takes a little bit longer but it's well worth the wait. The desert of warm gulab jamuns in a nice syrup and kheer with chai was really delicious. We also tried thier mango lassi which was excellent! Overall each menu item has its own unique flavor and taste. You can't go wrong with whatever you order. Service is friendly and the food is very comforting. Don't pass up a chance to try their food. We are looking forward to our next visit to try thier other dishes!
