I first visited Rock Bottom with friends several years ago--shortly after it changed ownership. It was a pleasant stop, but things have continued to improve. The owner has improved the river view by carefully tending a riverfront lot across the street and keeping large windows. There's also a side deck with river views. Thus family-owned establishment has great service and a friendly clientele who are welcoming to all. The tap system is currently offline but Rock Bottom has a nice selection of domestic bottled beers. Four stars only because we didn't have a chance to try the food; bar service was great If you're in the Lock Haven area definitely check out this local jewel. The location right in the middle of downtown Lock Haven is great, and we had no trouble finding parking even during a busy 12:00 Friday lunch hour. Our service wasn't necessarily the friendliest (not rude or anything - just straight and to the point), but honestly, there was something about that that almost made the experience better.
