While that would normally be a bad sign, I thought the food here was quite good! Thursday is wing night - $0.75/wing. We tried the mild and the cajun & dutch rub. The mild wings were okay but the dry rub were DELICIOUS. The wings themselves were meaty and substantial. For entrees, we tried the Reuben and the cheesesteak, and were happy with both. Upgrade from the chips to the fries - they are crunchy and delicious. For dessert, we tried the brownie peppermint cheesecake. The portion was HUGE, def enough for multiple people. Service was prompt and friendly. Not sure if this place is usually busier than it was tonight but if not, it's a hidden gem in Lock Haven!

I first visited Rock Bottom with friends several years ago--shortly after it changed ownership. It was a pleasant stop, but things have continued to improve. The owner has improved the river view by carefully tending a riverfront lot across the street and keeping large windows. There's also a side deck with river views. Thus family-owned establishment has great service and a friendly clientele who are welcoming to all. The tap system is currently offline but Rock Bottom has a nice selection of domestic bottled beers. Four stars only because we didn't have a chance to try the food; bar service was great If you're in the Lock Haven area definitely check out this local jewel. You'll have a good time and probably make some new friends.
