This place was awesome, yakisoba was amazing! Very flavor-full. The Ruben was not dry at all and the side salad was adequately portioned. The menu easily has over 150+ options. The drinks were delicious...I had the Flight 138 and Absolut summertime and they were divine. Ivonne was our server and was very helpful and had a positive attitude! Really wanted to enjoy this place, but it missed the mark. Service was slow from start to finish, and we spent more time waiting than actually eating. The food itself was mediocre at best -- nothing terrible, just nothing memorable -- and definitely overpriced for the quality and portion sizes. New Owners here as of yesterday! So give them some grace...they're still working out kinks from turning over...So don't sleep on this place...the Yakisoba with Chicken was delicious! Juicy chicken and the vegetables were cooked to perfection! Also, the sauce was so good, not too salty and not too sweet, literally just right! My husband had the #81 A grilled Chicken sandwich with ham, bacon and cheese.., it was delicious as well, amazing bun, juicy and the fries were bomb! I saw some posts about owners and was a little weary but let me tell you, they are the kindest humans with an excellent sense of humor! When you walk into the restaurant you immediately feel like a local or family. They have been in the business for over 28 years and it shows! Their menu is huge and I can verify that each item is cooked to perfection. The bar reminds me of a caribbean cruise, it's stocked to the brim. They have everything. The owner made some strange, vulgar and inappropriate comments when he came over to our table and then his wife came over (server) and it just got even more uncomfortable. We asked for the check asap so we weren't stuck listening to the owner make out of pocket jokes that were insanely inappropriate... The place looks pretty cool inside but definitely would not recommend. Lastly, food came small in portions and tasted average but it was extremely overpriced. Only been there 3 or 4 times, but have never been disappointed. I've always ate something different off the menu and every time it was great. The prices are normal to the quality of food and drinks. I went there tonight on Valentine's Day 2024 and had their seafood stirfry with Yaki soba noodles, and it was absolutely delicious . The young lady that served me and made my drinks was so polite and helpful and seemed like she was a real professional in this line of work. First time here and it was an odd experience. Met my husband at Hangar 138, he had already gotten his drink with a friend and they were seated at the bar. I stood at the bar for a good 5 minutes while the bartender was running around putting cups away. When he finally acknowledged me, he wasn't friendly and just made a gesture to show my ID. After glancing at it, he grabbed it and looked at my photo and then back at me before saying, "You look a lot different" which I thought was a little weird and rude. After that, he just turned around and was messing around on the register for another 3 minutes. When I went to close my tab, he told me my card wasn't working. I told him to keep trying since I had JUST got that card, as it was a replacement. I then called my husband over to handle it and suddenly the card reader worked. I gulped my drink down and got out of there as fast as I could. Overall, it was just an unwelcoming, odd experience. Decent drink, pool tables, odd crowd. I'll stick to what I know. read more

When we first walked everyone in the place had seemed annoyed. We got seated fairly quickly but sat and waited over 15 minutes to order drinks. When Stephen the waiter finally returned after eating his own dinner at the bar he took our order there were 5 of us. Everyone received there food besides the person who ordered first, he came back and said "sorry bud your order didn't get put in it'll be out when it's out" that was astonishing no sorry nothing... not to mentioned he had reached over all of us to grab things & moved food from one plate to another that we were still eating. Yes you read that right he touched our plates that we were eating off of to clear another. When it came time to leave he said hey buddy I took 5 dollars off the meal for the mess up with your meal which was really only $4.39.. doesn't really matter but don't say $5. While we were sitting there a nice couple came in and we're waiting for more than 10 minutes to even be acknowledged we told them to not waste there time and they left before any server owner worker in the place noticed. Extremely disappointing and 200 dollars for 5 people was OUTRAGEOUS. read more

Let's start with the positives: the menu is huge and the food quality is decent, bordering on good. Just about anyone should be able to find something on the menu to their liking. Negatives: Prices are about 30% higher then they should be for what you get from a quality perspective. I can live with that in a resort town though. Worse, is the overly chatty owner who doesn't seem to respect boundaries. He must have stopped by our table at least four times in 30 minutes trying to start up conversations. Asking if our food is ok is expected, trying to engage us in long conversations is annoying when we were dining there to enjoy our time out together. We are hesitant to go back for fear of getting trapped in unwanted conversations with this man again in the future. Will likely dine elsewhere in town - unless we can figure out the times he's not working. If the establishment is open to suggestions, our recommendation would be to keep this chatty gentleman in a behind the bar, bartender role, where his conversational style has a better chance of being appreciated. From reading other reviews, it seems like this is a consistent theme/concern. read more

Now to the dark side, the food that came out quickly was not the greatest. And the prices are borderline atrocious for the quality of food being received. I understand it was a very high tourist vacation spot but these prices were obscene ($3.50/wing??) We visit Chelan almost every other weekend in the summer. Hangar 138 is one of our favorite spots to stop and have a drink or eat lunch or dinner. The service is good as the owner likes to give me a hard time and I give it right back! She makes my wife's and mother in laws Bloody Mary extra spicy just the way they like them. Places is really expensive for some basic food items. Small appetizers is around 17-20 dollars. Unbelievable! Also, dishes are on average about 30$. Lastly, menus do not have item ingredients just names of the food items. A chelan teryaki meal is around 14$ for a meal and this place has 17$ just for an appetizer. Couldn't believe it when i got here. Just now the only guy in here and his friend went outside to vape, after leaving his kids in here by themselves. Returned this afternoon, after a weekend in the area, for another fantastic lunch. The clam chowder was the best we've had in a long time. It's the only repeat item my wife and I have had. The club sandwich was on point, fries done up just right. Nothing was heavy or greasy. The service, as usual, top notch; friendly and engaging.
