I love this store! The furniture is barely used and as I understand comes from model apartments…read morethat are used for show. The prices are great and I bought my couch for under $200 dollars, plus a bedside table with drawers for $30. The only downside is that the selection is fairly limited so it's a hit or miss whether they will have what you are looking for. It's a great place to browse but not so much a place to find exact needs.

I was very impressed by how well the sales staff worked with me to find exactly what I was looking for! I ended up refurbishing both my living room and master bedroom for just under $800! Now my apartment feels like an established apartment. Although this is lightly used furniture... I was able to look over every item I purchased. I am normally hesitant to make such a large purchase at one time, but before and after was such an extreme benefit, I will recommend them for anyone looking for reasonably priced furniture! Note: their inventory changes so much that they will always something different in there each time you visit (I wend in there several times in a week to decide my whole purchase). ---I didn't have anything to move the furniture with so I ended up renting a U-Haul for the "day price", and picked up two guys from Home Depot to move the furniture. In the end I spent just under $975 from start to finish (including fees to take junk furniture to the dump)!

I bought one of their bunk beds (from Costco as I recall) over 16 years ago, and have moved, disassembled, and re-assembled it many times since. The design is smart and sturdy, and it is simple and fast to disassemble and re-assemble, even simpler than smaller items like chairs and coffee tables I have purchased from competitors. During my last move, the movers lost some of the hardware for the bed. I called these guys up (16 years later, mind you), and they knew exactly what bed I had and sent me the missing hardware via first class mail to my home in California so I could get back to reassembling the bed and settling in to my new house! Compare this to the experience folks are used to these days with fly-by-night online sellers who may not be in existence a few months later, much less answering the phones and supporting their products after nearly two decades. This level of stability and integrity is how business was done in the old days, and this experience has not only drawn me back to Epoch's product line, but encouraged me to think critically about where I source my other products. Purchase your furniture from these guys. Their quality and service are both top notch.

The…read moreinteraction with one staff member, Susan, felt awkward and uncomfortable--it almost felt like an interrogation. She asked if my friend and I were related because of the same-household rule. This seemed harmless at first, but when we explained that we were just friends, she responded with an "uhhh mmm, okay" tone that felt odd and dismissive, almost like we were lying. Considering every past World Market I've been to, staff would say "congratulations" or "nice job" instead of giving off that vibe. Susan mentioned she's had issues with families all getting one, but then another staff member, Ryan i believe, clarified the rule was about household--not relation. This left us confused, because hypothetically, had we been sisters, there's no way to know if we lived in the same household or not. The question of asking us if we were related could've been resolved after checking our IDs, which is required anyway to claim the prize--and she could've seen we didn't have the same last name. She could also have phrased the question better--asking if we lived in the same household rather than if we were related--rather than making assumptions based on our appearance. On top of that, she asked us three times where we found our eggs, and i genuinely feel like one answer should've been enough. We've participated in egg and Christmas hunts at other World Market locations in the past, and this kind of questioning has never happened to this extent. The way I was treated didn't feel fair or professional, and it made the experience unnecessarily uncomfortable. I found Susan, well...annoying. The only positive was Richard or Robert (someone named like that), who was kind and helpful, which we appreciated. Still a cute event, but the communication and approach this time left a lot to be desired.

I recommend Expo Upholstery…read more I contacted them in March 2014 regarding reupholstery for a chair I inherited from my grandmother. So there was a sentimental value there but I just couldn't have baby blue velvet in my living room any longer. After some emails back and forth I went to their showroom to look through fabric samples. They have a ton! I eventually decided on one and got a more detailed quote on the project. They agreed to pick up and deliver the chair (I live in Queen Anne) for a small fee. They recovered the chair and stained the legs darker. I have now had it for two months and I still love it. Marco did a great job. All of the people I spoke with were friendly and helpful. Their prices were very competitive (I got about 6 quotes in the Seattle area). I will definitely use them again. The only ding is that it took about a week longer than they originally told me (and I had to follow up with them rather than them calling me), but honestly, if you've ever had projects such as this done, you kind of plan for them to take longer than originally discussed.

I asked to work with Kitto Kunhardt. I had spoken, via phone, with Kitto earlier that week He was extremely knowledgeable of the different beds they carried. After explaining the numerous problems I have with my back, (Stenosis, herniated disks, bone spurs on my facets in the lumbar area, restricted range of motion on my right clavicle area. narrowing of my spine and severe pain in the lumbar area, affecting sciatica nerve approx. 4.5 inches from the right lumbar area. I was informed Kitto was with a customer. Within roughly 10 minutes Kitto approached me & introduced himself. For the next hour, Kitto showed us a few different mattresses that he thought would work for my numerous back issues. Throughout our time with Kitto he was respectful, patient, answered all of our questions. I found Kitto to be very personable, professional. I never felt pressured by Kitto throughout our time at the store. 11 years ago we bought our first latex, organic latex mattress from the Bedrooms & More NE 45th St store. That mattress had a 15 yr warranty & the only reason we decided to replace that mattress was because of my back problems. I was also diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease 13 yrs ago. I use an electric scooter when I'm out in the community. Bedrooms & More is truly an accessable business & Kitto was also very accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this business to friends & family and my friends with Parkinsons. Thank you Kitto & Bedrooms & More for the excellent, reliable & reasonably priced beds you carry & above average customer service. Brava!

I see bad reviews from a couple years ago, but maybe management has changed or they took the feedback to heart and changed how they operate. They have a great selection that covers different price points. Some pieces may be of lower quality at a lower price point; like anything, you have to shop smart to balance quality and cost. On the floor, the sales folks were super honest about quality and expected longevity of different pieces. Now the service: truly exceptional. We bought our first electronic adjustable couch from them. Turned out the legs were installed with the wrong style legs in the wrong places. I probably could've fixed it myself easily (just swap legs), but I was concerned at what might happen if I screwed that job up (cross-threaded, stripped, etc.--yeah, it's been known to happen). So, what did they do? They said, "Hey, tell you what. We'll ship you a new one. Deliver it. Install it. Pick up the old one." Fantastic! When that one showed up, they unpacked and assembled it. My wife had a couple concerns about the way it articulated and some things she noticed that were different from the first mode. They sent their tech Jason out to evaluate and solve the problems. He figured out what was up, explained what was going on, tweaked some things to fix, and gave us his direct line if we felt the problem returned or were concerned about anything. Wow. Our experience with other furniture stores has been nowhere near this good. Especially after we've paid in full, we've been left hanging out to dry. My recommendation: don't hesitate to go with Kasala if they have a piece that you like.

We went to the store to see if they could refund our money. They claimed they too were duped by the supplier and that it's not actually leather but rather bonded leather. And even if this wasn't an intentional scam, they clearly don't know real leather from bonded, which for someone in the furniture business is total incompetence. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and received helped right away from a very friendly gentleman named Jerry. He was able to answer our questions and help us locate a sofa with the right dimensions, material, and feel. What I like most is how customizable the options are. We were able to customize our sofa to a lighter cream corduroy, which fits perfectly with our home decor. We were quoted about 8-10 weeks for delivery, but we received it in about 4-5! I'm really sorry to see so many negative experiences with the delivery service. For us, it was a seamless experience. We scheduled the date and they sent us the time window the day before. Everywhere we went, we were told that for whatever material, color and style we wanted, it would have to be customized and ordered and not available until months later. Fortunately, we didn't have to deal with any of that fiasco at Macy's. We came here to specifically get a new mattress and couch, which we were happily able to find at Macy's. The prices are fair, and we were able to find great items within our budget. The store is also huge, so they have a lot of displays to check out, so the selection wasn't limited. Sales staff was very friendly and helpful. They were also very patient with us, as we kept trying to decide between two totally different styles of couches and two mattresses. They also didn't push us to buy anything, which is often not the case for sales staff on commission. Even after our order was completed and delivered, staff from Macy's called to make sure that everything went well. I'm glad to know that Macy's Furniture Gallery in Redmond is not far from where we are, as furniture shopping can be an exhausting experience. But the wide selection of high-quality furniture they offer here cannot be beat - and I will continue to look here for more home furnishings.
