Marco and his team did an amazing job with my sofa and dinette chairs, and I would definitely recommend them. I was looking for an upholstery shop to re-upholster a very large sofa that has sentimental value to me. I met with them at their shop and went over the fabric options and discussed the price. The sofa was in storage, so unfortunately, I only had a bad photo for them to base their quote on. I selected fabric for the sofa and chairs and set up a time for them to pick everything up from the storage unit in Shoreline. Once they had the sofa it became clear that the whole thing would need to be re-done including the foam and interior fabrics. This increased the cost quite a bit (I got a bit of sticker shock), but I had known I was taking a chance getting a quote based on only a photo. At each decision point they called to get my consent on how much to repair and the cost. There was clear communication. In the end they essentially rebuilt the entire sofa, and managed to include the scalloped piping edge at the bottom (a feature I loved about the original). They did a wonderful job and I'm very happy with the results. Same for the chairs. Re-upholstery is not cheap, so you have to be committed to the furniture to begin with. I'm very happy with how everything turned out.

Perfect details!

Marco did a great job repairing my leather B&B Italia bed that had been damaged by the previous owner. Looks original.

Fantastic experience! They worked within my budget. I can't wait to have more furniture reupholstered. Thank you Marco and staff.

It was my…read morefirst visit, and while I didn't end up taking anything home, I'm still glad I finally got to see what it was all about! This is definitely more of a furniture and home improvement focused store than the type of thrift store I usually gravitate toward. There were lots of larger furniture pieces, unique home decor, artwork, tools, paint, and more. I could see this being a really fun place if you're remodeling a room, furnishing a new space, or tackling a DIY project since you could easily pick up both the supplies and some one of a kind pieces in one stop. One thing that stood out was the artwork. There were some really fun and unique pieces hanging throughout the store that made browsing enjoyable. The biggest downside for me was the pricing. Some items felt reasonably priced, but quite a few of the larger furniture pieces seemed expensive enough that I found myself thinking you could buy something new for a similar price. Of course, that's going to depend on what you're looking for and whether you fall in love with a particular piece. The staff was incredibly friendly, though, and that definitely made a positive impression. There were signs throughout the store encouraging shoppers to ask for help reaching artwork or items on higher shelves, and everyone seemed genuinely happy to assist. Overall, it wasn't quite my style of thrift shopping, so I probably wouldn't make a special trip back. That said, if you're hunting for furniture, tools, or unique home pieces, it's absolutely worth stopping in to see what you might find!

Really bad service and communication…read more It makes it hard to help organizations like this when they support a good cause but they are really disorganized. I would recommend you work harder to be better at communicating with your donors.
