We needed to get through another Holiday season with my old carpet so I called and Edwin came out. He gave me an education about carpet care and cleaning, and we've broken all the rules over the years, but he spent a long time working on them and we got great results. When I do have new carpets installed I'll definitely be treating them a lot better by having them cleaned the regularly, and the right way. read more

Edwin was fantastic! My carpets had not been cleaned in 2 years (I do not recommend waiting this long!) and they were in rough shape. Edwin warned me that I might want to start saving for the new carpet fund, but after he was done and the carpets were dry, they looked 100% better. Edwin took his time and was dedicated to getting tough stains out. He was knowledgeable about carpet care and was happy to share good tips about extending the life of the carpets. This, hands down, was the best carpet clean we have ever had. Edwin was professional, easy going and a hard worker. I have no reservations whatsoever about recommending Edwin and we will definitely call on him again! read more

When my family and I moved into our new home we desperately needed deodorizing. We contacted a couple carpet/tile cleaners, but none of them used biodegradable solutions that were safe for pets and children like Hands on Earth. Edwin was very upfront and honest and even suggested another company as we were looking to get the services done as soon as possible. We ultimately decided to go with Edwin and are so happy that we did. The carpet cleaning and tile cleaning really made a difference not only with the smell, but with the look and feel of our flooring. Edwin was meticulous and we are so thankful to have found him. We will definitely be giving him a call in the future. read more

Edwin cleaned our carpets when we moved into a new home. They were in pretty poor condition but even with natural products he gave them a new lease on life and saved the cost of new carpet for a while longer. He also uses corner protectors so the vacuum hose does not damage the paint. Pretty cool. He is also clearly knowledgeable, no pressure, and does more than just carpet. Great because I loath having to call someone different every time I need something else cleaned. read more

Edwin cleaned our carpets yesterday. He did an awesome job! He was very meticulous in cleaning. Not only he cleaned the tough spots but also he taught how to take care of the though spots ourselves in the future. He spent some 5 hours cleaning the entire house, 3 stories - 3 bedrooms, living room and kitchen and tons of stairs! Each and every corner was cleaned with great care. The home now feels the same way when we bought it brand new some 7 yrs. ago! I'll definitely get it cleaned it again from him in year's time and will strongly recommend him to my friends. read more

I have had Hands On clean my carpets two times and both times the service has been second to none. Edwin comes and explains everything, is helpful and low pressure. He spends a lot of time working on the carpets and makes sure that you understand everything about the process. Not to mention with 3 kids and dog, the phone call following up to make sure there are no new spots is fabulous. Definitely give them a call! read more

Edwin has always done an amazing job cleaning my carpets, and I never hesitate to recommend him to my clients as well. I have used other carpet cleaners over the years, but after using this company, I continue to call them back because of the professional, excellent service the owner provides. Edwin did a great job. With a toddler and a dog, our carpet was nasty. Edwin was able to clean our carpet and revive a rug that we thought was ruined by our spastic dog. He explained the process prior and did it in a prompt manner. I thought It would take a full day but he did it in 3 hours. I can't recommend him enough. read more

Great job on our carpet and rugs. He was very open and honest about the chemicals he uses and his pricing compared to others. He is a little pricer then some but you definitely get what you pay for and it's shown in his work. I will definitely use them again! read more

Excellent customer service by comparison to the other cleaning companies I've used. Prompt, courteous, reliable, reasonably priced, and very competent! Our carpets, mats, and chairs looked amazing! The end result was much better than my expectations. And it's earth-friendly. read more

Edwin is awesome and such a professional! We spilled a glass of V8 (of all things) on our brand new wool rug. After spraying it and scrubbing it with all manner of cleaning products, we gave up and called Edwin, who was great to come on a Sunday. We should have called him from the get-go because we apparently made it worse! He did his best to undo our damage and our rug definitely looks better now. Not as it was before, but that's to be expected. He also cleaned our other wool rug with dog vomit and our cream-colored upholstered dining chair with bbq sauce on it. Those look brand new now. In the future, we will have Edwin on speed-dial for life's spills! read more

Edwin goes the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied with their carpets. My carpets are worn and old and I was having a Bridal Shower at my home with no time to replace the carpet. He is very knowledgeable about carpets and explained everything before completing the work which included vacuuming my rugs before he cleaned. With my dogs I vacuum often but he still picked up dust and dog hair. Very satisfied and will definitely recommend to my family and friends. read more

The reviews I've read on Yelp were all true. I mainly based my decision on the reviews in getting the services of Edwin and it did not disappoint me. Being the owner himself, he started with a lot of tips of what and what not to do with taking care of Carpets. He oriented me with the friendly products he is using and being an allergy and asthma sufferer myself, my lungs and nose did not complain smelling these. His services and his performance were very professional and of high quality. He even volunteer to fix my loose door knob for free. What can I ask for. Happy customer here. read more

Edwin has been invaluable in helping us clean the carpet in one of our bedrooms where one of our cats decided he wouldn't use a litter box. He came out, told me exactly what he would be doing and what to expect. He said that if the smell wasn't gone after 14 days that we would need to find someone to replace the carpet pad. I called today for his recommendations on companies that do that and he not only apologized, but game me two companies to call. He is extremely personable, professional and knowledgeable, and goes out of his way to help you. read more

I highly recommend Hands On. Edwin, the owner, is a very personable and knowledgeable guy. He answered the phone when I called and explained, step-by-step, his carpet cleaning process and how he bases his pricing. I made an appointment and he showed up promptly. He took measurements and gave me an estimate before he started. While he was cleaning the carpet, he noted problem areas, and showed them to me. He gave recommendations as to what my husband and I could do to keep the carpet nice. He also advised us about our carpet guarantee. One hour after Edwin left everything smelled fresh and new. My carpets look fantastic! We paid what Edwin had estimated - there were no add ons or unexpected costs. In fact, he gave us a discount for being a new customer! We will continue to use Hands On for our future carpet cleaning. read more

I am so pleased with my choice to use Hands On. Edwin was professional, effective and conducted his work thoroughly. He was able to respond to my "emergency" promptly and he has the added bonus of not using high pressure sales tactics. He did a wonderful job cleaning our very dirty carpets and I would strongly recommend him to a friend. He also did a great job greeting my three large dogs (other technicians had not been so welcome). I had used sub par cleaners in the past and the difference is evident in the carpet. We will be using his service again and look forward to clean carpets without the toxicity. read more

He was on time, explained everything in detail, got to work quickly and kept us updated of new things he'd found during the cleaning. We are so happy with the results from his hard work, we are happy and confident that he will do a great in your home or business. Edwin, the owner of Hands On, did an amazing job. We have two dogs, which we raised as puppies, so as you can imagine, our carpets had seen better days. Also in the past year, both dogs came down with Giardia, and (embarrassing to say) had explosive poop all over. I tried cleaning it with the Rug Doctor, which only made the problem worse! All the crap, along with dirt from previous, came out and made the carpets look horrible. I tried almost all of the carpet cleaners in the store, none of which took the stains out. When I called Edwin, he scheduled me within a week and arrived promptly on time. He is very friendly and trustworthy, taking pride in his work. When he was done, I was AMAZED at how clean it was. I had never witnessed those carpets that white! He was very efficient and thorough, with very competitive prices. I was also impressed with the smell of the cleaning products he used...no disgusting chemical smells! It was pleasantly fresh and gone soon after. I would HIGHLY recommend Hands On and will be calling Edwin the next time I need them done. Thank you!!! read more

Edwin did a fabulous job, our 25+ year old carpets look amazing and will help our house sell. Love that my asthma didn't bother me since he doesn't use chemicals like other steam cleaning companies. We have used Edwin - Hands on Earth Friendly Carpet Cleaning twice now for general carpet cleaning. Prior to this we'd use whoever we could get for a good price and time frame. Edwin takes great pride in his work, is very conscientious and does a great job all for a fair price so we called him first this time. We had a few areas we thought would be stained but he worked his magic and the carpets look great, almost like new again. Edwin also did our tile and grout cleaning. Those too look like new. -- We highly recommend Edwin - Hands on Earth Friendly Carpet Cleaning. read more

Edwin came over to evaluate the stains that I had tried to remove after searching on line. Unfortunately, I made them quite a bit worse. Edwin explained that my carpets were pretty much done (25 years old). Since it was near the holiday, he did his best to make them look more presentable. I appreciated his expertise, his honesty and his help! It made for a better holiday! Thanks Edwin. read more

We have had Edwin out to clean our carpets a few times. He is always on time and his prices are excellent. He explains everything he is going to do and gives a sort of "diagnosis" of the carpets: where the big stains and worn spots are, what the approximate life of the carpet is, etc.. He's consistently friendly and helpful. My first experience was an emergency situation after our dog peed on our couch. He calmed me down and assured me it could be fixed. He was able to come out right away and completely took care of the issue. I am happy to highly recommend his work to anyone looking for carpet cleaning services! read more

Where to begin! Aside from not looking forward to cleaning up a big mess after having a party the night before, you definitely don't want to find surprise stains on your carpet and unfortunately there was dried up vomit all over the carpet upstairs! It was Sunday morning and most if not all maid cleaning services and carpet cleaners were closed but luckily I tried calling Edwin and when I explained my emergency to him he understood and was at my house within the hour! Edwin was very honest and didn't beat around the bush when he saw the vomit stains but said he would try every solution possible to remove it all. Edwin was very knowledgable about the possible "ingredients" that were in the vomit and identified the proper chemicals to spray on to it to assure the best possible results. After coming by twice in the day by sundown the stains were completely gone! The carpet looked brand new! I was so relieved to know that if I ever have an emergency like this again that I won't have to worry about it as much because with Edwin I'm in great hands! Thanks bud, you're the best! read more

Edwin came to my house on time and spent a half an hour with me explaining to me that my carpets were in fact "dead", and proceeded to tell me that if I was close to getting the hardwood floors that I had told him that I was going to be doing pretty soon that I should do it now instead of spending the money to try and have these carpets cleaned, These are the original carpet's to the house, and I've had cats and dogs and now my infant child and so they can get pretty beat up. I told Edwin that I was not quite prepared to do that yet as it would be quite an undertaking. Edwin proceeded to make my carpets clean first by Vacuuming them Completely, and then came to me again before he proceeded with the actual wet clean to tell me that he was not sure he could get them as clean as he would like to, and his level of expectation I found incredibly refreshing...I run a business and I have the same outlook, and I know that my outlook is different than everyone else in my industry, I can't tell you how awesome was to find another man who's outlook was just as individual in his industry as I am in mine. Edwin's main goal was not to make my carpets look brand new as that would be impossible, his main goal was to make sure that The carpets were as clean and safe for my daughter as he could possibly make them, and he did an outstanding job, as I look around my carpet looks beautiful, 20-year-old light cream carpet looks great again, and my breathing has improved. In the end, Edwin did not even want to charge me as he felt his expectations of my carpets were not met, this man was simply amazing. Thank you Edwin for a wonderful job, and thank you for the type of man that you are, you're above and beyond, and a credit to your family. read more
