They told us that an auxiliary fan was broken, and "repaired it" for nearly $400. Less than an hour after their "repair", our car broke down in traffic and smoke started pouring from the hood without warning. We feared the worst. We called Mike for an estimate, and he came and looked over our Jeep the same day. He took excellent care of us, was honest, and explained his hypothesis of what was wrong with the car. HIs rates were fair and he was just overall wonderful to work with. 2 hours after he arrived to our complex (after having our car towed home), our jeep is up and running better than ever. And for very little compared to what Pep Boys tried to sell us. He even showed us that the "broken" fan, in fact worked, and gave us a year's guarantee on his labor. His work was so good and honest I felt inspired to get on here and create a profile for his business. Call him should you need any car advice/minor repair.

They would offer rides, snacks, and made the experience feel personal. Because of that, there was a lot of trust built. Unfortunately, someone very close to me recently discovered that multiple repairs done here were either poorly completed or failed far sooner than they should have. Spark plugs that were replaced last May (with only about 5,000 miles driven since) were already completely fried, despite typically lasting much longer. Wiring that was replaced just last month also needs to be redone because it's damaged. On top of that, another mechanic showed that the welding work done on the muffler/exhaust was poorly done and may have contributed to further damage, including the catalytic converter needing replacement. I strongly encourage anyone getting major repairs here to seek a second opinion.

My car i had spent a little over 2,000$ to fix my brakes and to get a new tire. And honestly I'm not even sure if the tire was new. They told me "we didn't think you cared about your car" "we did what we thought would get you by" and even said "we didn't test drive it" after I voiced my concerns over my brakes being sketchy. They even basically admitted they discriminated against my car itself. After the 1st time they gave me back my car I should of just went to another shop. The brakes immediately after getting it back felt like they were going to completely fail. Took it in a 2nd time and more issues miraculously popped up. After that...the 3rd time MORE issues popped up which in total was a little over 2,000$. They ended up messing up the brakes yet again so I went to a different shop where it cost me 600$ to fix what Good Grip said was fixed and the noise was most likely my suspension that I was hearing. I should've investigated further into this shop before going to it and I would of known to avoid this place entirely. Like others, it's very close to where I live and that makes it convenient. Shame on them for not caring about their customers. He said he will get the parts for me online and asked me to cash app the money so I cashapp him 453.51 which was the total amount for the parts, his wife Melissa said that the parts will be delivered to there address within a week or so...I took my vehicle to another mechanic to have a diagnostic for my airbag light because at the time Bobbie did not have one and the other mechanic did a full diagnostic on the vehicle and found that I did not need the intake manifold or the secondary air infection control valve, that it was only one of the airlines where cracked so the mechanic replaced it for 100.00...I message Melissa back and told her that I didn't need the parts and that she can return them so I can get my money back...she said she would then begin to ghost me and make up stories as to why my refund was taking so long...she said she was sick in the hospital and that she will send it the end of the day last week but never did...she keep saying im going send it, then they both ghost me completely....Im in the process now of suing them, this is wrong how they do people and I will get my money back!!!
