When I developed De Quervain's Tenosynovitis, the pain and loss of dexterity were terrifying. The specialists here understood the high stakes of my profession. Dr. Nathan provided a clear, evidence-based treatment plan that was both conservative and effective, allowing me to return to the OR with full confidence. ​ ​I particularly appreciated their upfront communication regarding pricing. In an era where medical billing is intentionally opaque, their team was refreshingly direct. I was happy to pay the very reasonable cash pay prices since they were out of network. ​To those reading negative reviews regarding billing: take them with a grain of salt. As a practice owner, I see the "behind the scenes" of the insurance industry. Poor beside manner. Physician Dr Ross was angry and rude. Left feeling emotionally harassed. Bad experience and left feeling unheard and bullied. The hand exam was so painful. He was applying so much pressure and my hands and underside of my forearms hurt more tonight. I was hoping to feel better after the meeting. He may need to see less patients in a day or go to counseling for mental illness and personality disorder. Felt like it's just a mill to make a few bucks for each patient. I was very stressed with navigating the U.S. health care system after fracturing my wrist and was so lucky to find this place. The cost was cheap considering what I had to go through with urgent care. The receptionists and nurses were very kind and understanding. Doctor Nathan was exceptional, he made sure to explain all the problems and condition I was in. He really did make sure that everything was easy for me and shows care and professionalism. read more

Walked in with wrist discomfort from a fall. I waited maybe 10 minutes and was taken back and met Dr. Kolahi. He was absolutely the most caring doctor I have had and listened to what I had to say. This started in January of this year. Still to this date 10/13/25 every visit the entire staff from the front desk to the therapy department have been amazing! I came to the Hand and Wrist Center by recommendation from my Urgent Care provider. I have nothing but positive experiences from my visits - everyone has been super kind, and I keep coming back because of it. Dr. Kolahi is very knowledgeable, kind, and cares genuinely about his patients. I also use their physical therapy services, and Makayla and team are outstanding. While the road to recovery is painful, the team is sensitive to making sure you have everything you need to get better. When I first started seeing them I couldn't bend my finger much at all, and it's been pretty amazing to see the progress. They give you the tools you need to keep exercising and practicing at home. If you are suffering from a hand or wrist injury I couldn't recommend the doctors and staff here enough. read more

From my first phone call to make an appointment, throughout my treatment by Dr. Kolahi, I received professional, friendly, competent service by all staff. From some other comments, I hesitated to seek treatment at this office, but I'm sure glad that I gave them a chance. I didn't wait longer than ten minutes before being taken to the exam room, and everything moved swiftly along. Dr. Kolahi was respectful, responsive to my questions, and even wrote down important notes for me regarding my condition. I returned to the office a few weeks later for treatment, and again received prompt, courteous, kind, quality treatment by all staff. I came here because the referral to see an orthopedic through my insurance took over two weeks. I needed to meet with someone in regards to a broken wrist ASAP and I chose not to wait for my referral. (I paid out-of-pocket to meet with a provider here) I called and was able to get an appointment the next day. I met with Dr. Kolahi in which he reviewed the x-rays I had brought in from an urgent care, took his own x-rays and placed a cast on my wrist. Dr. Kolahi was very nice, informative and considerate that I was paying out of pocket. Highly recommend Dr. Kolahi and his staff. I do recommend filling out the paper work that is emailed to you prior to your visit in order to reduce wait time. I was seen 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment as I did not get the email to fill out the paperwork before to my visit. Overall I'm very appreciative of the service that was provided to me and extremely grateful. Highly recommend! read more

I had a 2:00pm appointment today, August 10, 2021, and left at 3;00pm without ever seeing a doctor. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment. I got angry that a patient with an appointment after mine got seen first. This was my second visit to the same doctor, Kolorosh M. Kolahl, for injured wrists and hands. I do not plan to return to this office as there is no respect for my time. I was kept waiting the first time and this time it was even worse. I needed an appointment for finger pain. They got me in within a week. Dr Kolahi was one of the most patient, attentive doctors I have seen. He took time to explain my condition in a way I could understand - even drawing a picture. He went over all treatment options and the pros and cons of each. Dr. Kolahi performed a carpal tunnel release a couple years ago, pretty happy with the "long end results", my hand was eventually better. But, it was pretty swollen and painful for several days after the procedure. It eventually returned to normal without the symptoms. The reason I'm giving them three stars, is I have something to compare the experience to now. Just had the other hand repaired, same procedure by Dr. Mark Bagg at The Center For Special Surgery in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Bagg is a pro, no swelling, no pain after surgery. Two days out of surgery, the hand and wrist is much better. If you need carpal tunnel release and it's driving you up the wall, it's worth the trip to make a two hour flight to San Antonio to get it done right By Dr. Bagg. read more

I came to the Hand and Wrist Center because I had a painful sprain in right hand/wrist made worse by arthritis. Couldn't do most tasks which was a major problem. Within a week my problem was cured by Dr.Kolahi and the superb physical therapy staff! I am very grateful for the quick and excellent help I received from everyone there. Dr.Kolahi is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients. Can't say enough about how amazing Makayla and her physical therapy team is. She sincerely cares about patients and does everything possible to speed up recovery. She instructed me about exercises to do at home and gave me nutritional info which was very helpful! Do not choose this center if you value your time in any way. I really needed to see someone for an issue I am having and I scheduled an appointment well in advance, filled out all of the paperwork ahead of time and arrived on time for my appointment. After waiting 50 minutes past my appointment time, I asked for my copay back and I left. My time means something to me and I had scheduled my workday around this appointment and was left waiting for almost an hour and still I did not see the doctor. Additionally, I had to go to the desk multiple times to see if I would be seen. No one even had the courtesy to proactively acknowledge that I was 20, 30, 40, 50 minutes past my appointment time. My time matters to me and it is as important as anyone else's. So, now I am stuck with another weekend of pain and finding another doctor. It is unbelievable to me how disrespectful this is. The woman at the desk apologized when I told them I was leaving. Unfortunately, an apology doesn't give me my time back or help with the medical issue I was seeking help for. read more

I got misdiagnosed by 4 doctors, they gave me pills that resulted in Health issues I wouldn't have had otherwise. Filled me with steroids that made my heart rate go up to 180, rushed to the ER where they told me it was because of weed usage(didn't even smoke that day it was just in my urine from before) and discharged me. Dr. Nathan Ross put these frauds to shame by telling Me I have a very common condition that would resolve on its own, and guess what... it did once I got off all the meds the scamming doctors gave me. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a doctor who actually cares about their patients and is an expert at what they do. Thank you hand and wrist center! I arrived at my appointment on time. I did not complete the paperwork because I could not open my email. That's ok,I was able to complete it there. After the appointment was made, I was called and told one doctor was not in my network, but the other was. At the office, I get called to the desk. The girl asked if I checked to see if Dr. Ross was in network. I assumed he was because they had made the appointment and changed it from the initial doctor I had made the appointment with. She said, "it was on the email that I was supposed to do so. T I had already told them I could not open my email. I also told her that I had never been asked to verify before I went to a doctor's appointment. She said "we are too busy to do that." That is not at all professional to say that. I was very upset because now it late. I went to my car, called my insurance to find this doctor IS in network. When speaking with the inurance, I got the names of other doctors and will be going to someone else. It is not the doctor's fault, but his office staff is a reflection of the quality of service. Btw, when I got to the office, they did not have my file ready, and they were looking for it when I was waiting. The file would have the information. that was given at the time the appointment was made. Maybe they were "too busy." read more

The care we have received from Dr Nathan has been exceptional. He is extremely thorough in his assessment and has very progressive approaches to healing that allow return to full function to happen in ways far faster than other drs. We have used Dr Ross Nathan for at least a dozen collective volleyball injuries for our boys, and will return every time. Dr Nathan's bedside manner is the best we have ever encountered and My only wish is that he practiced medicine in all areas. read more

Terrible experience. Dr. Nathan was very dismissive of my husband's hand condition. I understand if there is nothing that can be done about his condition but maybe work on your bedside manner? Consider that your patients are actually people? They're not just $$$ for your practice. Stay away from this doctor. He is rude, dismissive, and condescending. read more

I went to this office because I broke my wrist and while in the hospital they reset my wrist into a splint. Two days later I got it taken off and my wrist and arm looked normal and fine and I had range of motion the doctor then put a hard cast on after pulling and tugging on my hand and this only led to more pain and when I had the cast taken off a week later because it was put on wrong the other doctor noticed that I had something called dropping and apparently the first doctor had over corrected my hand. This became excruciatingly painful and when I asked the doctor for any sort of pain medication even non-narcotic him talk to me like I was a child telling me that pain medication is bad. He didn't even want me to get pain medication when I first broke my wrist but the hospital thought otherwise thank God. It is about two months since the initial break and I wake up in the middle of the night every night crying hysterically and can barely get through a day of work in fact my employer I thought it looked so bad he gave me 2 1/2 weeks off work I hoping it would feel better. It does not it feels worse and the doctor is now saying I would have to pay out-of-pocket for him to do surgery to fix my wrist that he over corrected. Why should I have to pay $20,000 and up to fix his air! And he honestly showed no concern or empathy for what I was going through it is still refusing to give me even ibuprofen 800 to come back the pain! That's not even a narcotic that's just a pain medication. Be careful going to this doctor Nathan you may end up in pain for the rest of your life. read more
