Stopped by here on my Road to Hana drive for some food and banana bread. Loved the outdoor seating and friendly service! Ordered the fish tacos--fish of the day was ono, and they were delicious. Stopped by the outdoor shop and picked up banana bread and banana bread pudding. Banana bread was awesome (though they ran out of the macadamia nut version) but I wasn't a fan of the bread pudding. Would recommend stopping here at least once to check out the goodies. read more

Outstanding food and experience. Our party ordered a Greek salad with Grilled Shrimp, Cobb Salad and a panini sandwich. All of them were so delicious! The Greek Salad had what appeared to be a whole can of garbanzo beans at the bottom, but we snacked on them as a group and we got through most of it. The dressing was addicting. The food was creative and interesting enough to appeal to the eye as well the palate. They have a very good kitchen or food manager. :) We got there just at opening, which was 11AM. There was already a line of people. The poor staff was just icing down the salads as people were picking the pre-made salad boxes up and went to wait in line to pay. There are shaded areas for eating and flush toilets (yay! - so important!). The toilets are neat and clean and are found at the back of the property. The toilets cannot be seen from the road which may be a smart thing otherwise they would have people stopping all the time. The restrooms are only for those who have business with Hana Health. This food stand supports Hana Health, so I think technically, it was okay for us to wander back there. The restrooms are so cute, too. They were tiny; it was like what I imagined living in a tiny home and having a tiny restroom would be like. Very, very clean, too. The cleanliness of the place is what gives this food stand a five star. read more

We have been here before and I will say last time seemed a tad better as far as flavors. This was still very good but they did not season anything at all. Everything was plain. I'm sure that is good for people to season things the way they want to but last time they had seasoned a little bit and it had flavors. Staff is very friendly. read more

Bottom Line: Outdoor market selling produce, grilled panini and poke. This road-side market definitely seems to be popular with locals and it should be with tourists too! After making the long we worked up and appetite and I am glad that we had the option of getting some lunch at this market in the Hana Health parking lot. We got a $12 Italian panini that was delicious and packed in a sturdy, reusable container. The container was overkill for our purposes but I can see where a hiker would find it helpful. We also got a $4 bag of rambutan since neither of us had tried that fruit previously. We are out lunch on picnic tables under and awning before continuing our journey. read more

You will find their farm stand/restaurant just as you enter the little town of Hana, on your right. Many healthy eating options, either prepared or cooked to order. There is a small farm stand where you can buy some of the vegetables and fruits that they grow. I bought some of the peppers, but had to refrain from buying any of their delicious looking food because the timing was not right. Definitely want to come back another time and try the grilled fish kebabs, or one of the colorful salads. There is a shaded picnic area for eating and plenty of parking. read more

Awesome stand to come for breakfast or lunch. They have local fresh ingredients and support the community with EBT and allow them to purchase fresh local produce for a 50% discount which is really amazing for a place that generally eats food that is poor in nutrition because it is lower priced. If you're staying in Hana for a day or more you must try this place. Got the breakfast plate and burrito which was so well seasoned, fresh and flavorful! They also had these amazing salads and sandwiches packed with flavor to go. The coffee was also wonderful and I highly recommend the refreshing lemongrass iced tea which has the powerful flavor and isn't too sweet/sugary. read more

Not many options for food were available yet with it still being morning. With the little bit of cellphone service I had, I managed to pull up Yelp and find Hana Fresh, and I'm so glad I did! The women running the stand we're welcoming and polite. There were different pre packaged items on ice for something quick, such as pasta salads and quinoa salads. The menu had a good amount of offerings from sandwiches to chicken plates. The prices are very fair and reasonable. I had the fish kebobs and they were more than I could have hoped for! Well seasoned and a large portion- definitely my money's worth! It came with the biggest scoop of brown rice and the best fruit salsa I've ever had! Their menu changes to reflect what is seasonal. Parking was plentiful and there is plenty of covered picnic tables to enjoy your food at. read more

Good stop on the Road to Hana. We were hungry for lunch after driving all the way out from the western side of the island and this spot popped up at just the right time. No frills farm stand in the parking lot of the local clinic. Parking on site and two friendly locals helped us with our order. We got iced coffee, a fresh salad and grilled vegetable panini. Everything was fine, hit the spot and we were on our way. Clean bathrooms out back were also a big plus. read more

Grabbed a chicken salad baguette from here this afternoon to eat for supper. WOW! It is fabulous! We stayed here last night & I'm now wishing I had noticed them on the drive in. I also picked up some bananas and they are very fresh. The two ladies were super friendly and I am quite happy to support such a great business in Hana. I'll be stopping tomorrow on our way out to grab something, perhaps one of those beautiful salads! I hope to see them still here when we return in 2018!! read more

Came as our lunch stop on road to Hana day after seeing it in several guidebooks and on yelp and honestly it was pretty overrated. Doesn't open until 11. Salad selection was very minimal unlike pictures had suggested. And it's not cheap. The smoothie was very good and ladies were nice but there are better places to stop. Find some off the beaten path instead. read more

Personally I like their salad with fish. I had it almost every day. My daughter loved their smoothies (of course no sugar added). It's better to stop there earlier. Sometimes there is a queue. I stopped here for lunch while visiting Hana and the nearby State Park. It was around 10:45 am and after the long drive to Hana we were hungry and looking for some food. We came across this place on Yelp and they were very easy to find as they are located right off of the main road in town. This set up is pretty sweet as they have a bunch of fresh local produce for purchase in addition to their delicious smoothies and made to order food specials. I had the lunch special of the day, which was very generous for the price I paid and included a whole seasoned chicken cooked to perfection, a large bed of rice and a fresh and delicious salad. My wife had the fish kabobs and they were equally delicious. They have picnic tables set up outside so this is a good spot to pull over and relax over some good food and smoothies. read more

The salad was sitting in dirty melting ice and was warm. we took two bites of each and couldn't finish. The smoothies were watery and lacked flavor. $50 for an inedible lunch for 2. We were driving on the Highway to Hana and stopped by Hana Fresh. I ordered their berry lemon chicken salad and it was amazing: green lettuce, grilled chicken, almonds, feta cheese, parmesan and berries. Dressing was great. This place is right off the highway as you are getting into town. The staff informed us this was probably the only healthy food in town and it was great. I got a salad with mozzarella chicken tomatoes and avocado which hit the spot after super sweet snacks the way in. My husband had a smoothie with organic protein and matcha and it was tasty.
