    Cute area

Mmmmm... I love fruit and had high expectations but the prices feel like a tourist trap. $18 for the small size assorted fruit plate I just can't justify getting it..... Would be nice if they had individual fruit options for cheaper. I love sugar cane juice and was disappointed at the $12 price point for a cup and I couldn't even get pure sugarcane juice - had to pick from one of the three "flavors" (lilikoi, ginger lime, and third one I don't remember). I opted for the lilikoi since the lady said it would be the most natural/mild and least overpowering the taste of the sugarcane. Sadly, that was not the case and the drink was very sweet... Just tasted like lilikoi juice with the slightest hint of sugarcane flavor. Disappointed fruit fan........ The lady was very friendly and did try to be helpful with her recommendations. The low review has nothing to do with her good service. I would only recommend stopping here for families with kids since it's a picturesque spot with nice seating area and games (croquet, etc.)

FRESH FRUIT- SO GOOD. The ambiance is amazing. Ocean view in the front of the shack and great service. The lady at the desk helped us out on what to pick for fruit this time of year! Such an amazing experience.thank you AND a very friendly cat I met!!

Drove past this spot and man does it catch your eye - uniquely colorful and vibrant with some fun games and seating options all around the small hillside property. Worth the quick stop but very expensive for what you get - $12+ for a juice is harsh :( but it was super fresh and so fun to hang in the gardens with all the chickens, ducks, etc! And very instagram friendly of course!

Such a cute spot to stop after visiting Waipi'o Lookout. I love the fresh fruits they have and also the different spots to enjoy your fruit. It is outdoors, so expect all types of bugs and animals to be nearby! I loved seeing the ducks and also the vibrant green geckos. I regret not buying a fruit platter but decided to grab a sugarcane drink with lilikoi. The drink had the right amount of sweetness and tartness. It was quite refreshing, especially for a hot day.

Bright fruit stand and farm by the side of the road. It's a good place to relax and enjoy the views of the ocean. There are tables and hammocks as well as a portapotty. Chicken and ducks roam the garden. I had a cup of lilikoi (passionfruit) sugar cane juice and a small fruit bowl. The juice was great but very sweet. The fruit bowl contains a mix of tropical fruit. It was ok. Some fruits were too sour but it might be because they were not in season.

Had a delicious fresh coconut from this fruit stand! The fruit stand has a small parking lot which is really convenient and lots of sitting areas. It is a super cute stand with hammocks to lounge, lots of colors and cute signs. They are cash only, but you can also use venmo. After drinking our coconut they carved it for us to eat the meat. They also had many other delicious looking fruits. The person who helped us was super friendly and it was great chatting with them. Highly recommend making a stop here while you are on the island!

This spot was such a great find. The fruit bowl and fresh coconut were delicious. Everything was perfectly ripe and refreshing. But what really made it stand out was the setting. It's more than just a fruit stand. It has a cute little farm setup with geese and baby ducks walking around. They were surprisingly interactive and made the experience even more fun. A peaceful and local stop that is absolutely worth it if you are in the area.

The large fruit bowl has a great variety of tropical fruits. They were all ripe and delicious, perfect after an ATV tour! The lilikoi sugarcane juice was super refreshing, would recommend on a hot day. Lots of seating and cute baby ducks and chickens on the property!!!

This place is AMAZING!!!! Beginning with its natural beauty and location with amazing views. I loved Ziggy (dog) how he just launched at the entrance not bothered by anyone. Very friendly puppy. Great music with island vibe, plenty of colorful places to sit. Beautiful and extremely friendly young lady that helped us. I opted in for a large fruit bowl and it was delicious but also so pretty. Some of the fruit in my bowl I never had it my life. We also purchased a cold coconut water. I also never had it before so this was a treat. So refreshing. We stayed and chatted a bit with some other patrons before heading back to Kona. This was a great addition to our scenic drive. I HIGHLY recommend this business and plan on visiting again. Thank you!!!!! (Love)

Well decorated and colorful on the side of the road on the hill. Eye popping. Didn't have as huge a fruit selection as I imagined when I heard" fruit snack", but perfect for the Instagram crowds. A little in the pricey side. Very nice folks working here to serve you.

This fruit stand was little out of the way, but so so worth the effort. It's a small stand but there are lots of picnic tables surrounded by lush garden and a great views. There was a line forming when we were there. There is also WiFi and he accepts multiple payment options. We saw the combo fruit platter but it was so huge. It's basically sampling of all the fruits he has there all nicely chopped up. We tried their mangos bananas, and coconut and it was super fresh and sweet. Highly highly recommend!!

Lady running the stand(s) was so sweet and nice, the ambiance was amazing. So much to do & play while eating or drinking. There were hammocks, toys & places to sit and enjoy the view. All the fruit was fresh, especially the coconut! A must stop!

If you're headed towards the Waipio Valley Lookout, stop here for a refreshing treat! My family almost drove pass this gem on our last day in the Big Island and so glad we made a U-Turn. I absolutely love coconuts and needed to have some before leaving the island. The vibe was very chill and everything looked so fresh! The worker (or owner) cut the coconut right in front of us with a machete! It was such a cool experience and the coconut was delicious! There was lots of other fruits but truthfully I was only there for the coconuts. Overall, amazing vibe and experience! Love supporting small businesses!

Wow Farm - Wow Farm's many varieties of heirloom tomatoes. Sweet!

We had read an article in the Big Island Traveler Magazine a few months back on Wow Farm's and how…read moreawesome their tomatoes were. What I appreciated was the farm to table concept, since they supply many restaurants along the Kona coast, with their plump, sweet, non slimy, or gritty tomatoes. Mike and Tricia have read and gained wisdom from the professionals on how you can adjust the sweetness of the tomatoes, which I was dumbfounded and never knew that you could tweak a tomato. This is a business that involves all of the ohana and is done so with passion and a commitment towards quality. Mike and Tricia have a heart to share their knowledge and wisdom with other farmers as well, to build them up and see them become fruitful. There is a push towards bringing the community together and truly getting to know your neighbors. They have gone out of their way to share what they have with others, those who can afford it and to those who have run into hard times. I wish everyone could try their tomatoes, then you'd know what I am talking about, and draw your own conclusion, to this heavenly fruit (I still consider it a vegetable, no matter what). I live on Oahu and so anytime I visit Kona, I make sure I stop at the local open market in Kamuela to buy these. When you go look for the Wow Farm sign and their red palaka shirts, strike up a conversation and enjoy buying some of these delicate treasures. Omg, if you're on Oahu you can get these at the local farmers market on certain day's. Tuesday's and Saturday's Kapiolani Community College Wednesday's at the Neal Blaisdell open market Thursday's at the Kailua open market Sunday's at the Mililani open market This is a great way of supporting local and small businesses! Seriously, it really inspires me to want to become a farmer!
