I adore Han and most of her crew. She has been doing my nails for more than 10 years!! I have noticed that the men that work at her salon tend to do a much better job than the women. I recently got an eyebrow wax (something I have done from time to time at her salon) and ended up with 4 huge, swollen welts on the sides of my eyebrows. My eye was puffy and sore for 2 days. My biggest complaint is how long it takes... I got a pedicure (with gel) and a basic gel manicure (no tips) and I was there for 2 hours and 23 minutes. Almost 2.5 hours!! I called and made an appointment and it still filled my day. Unfortunately, because of how long it takes to have my nails done here, getting a fill has actually become something I DREAD. I put it off as long as I can because I'm too busy to be at a nail salon for this long... It's crazy. I have stayed loyal to Han because I know how hard she works... But she bites off more than she can chew. She doesn't know when or how to tell clients that she is busy.. Or she can't get you in right when you call. She always just says yes. Hopefully this can be remedied. I know I will never have my eyebrows done there again but I do enjoy the work they do on my nails. They have special colours that you can't find other places... Although they do charge about $20 more than some other local places. read more

If you want your nails done the way you like them, this is the place to come to. Jenn did my full set so beautifully that I could cry happy tears. She took her time to make sure the shape was perfect and to my preference. She periodically would check in with me to make sure my nails looked good before moving on to the next step. It was mesmerizing to watch her work because she was that focused! Her attention to detail was worth sitting in the chair for 2 hours and I would do it all over again. This is by far the best set that I've had done. The rest of the staff makes you feel welcome by offering bottled water and candy. The staff comes to check on how you're doing and compliment how your nails are coming along. They also work together which brings a calmer atmosphere since no one is rushing around for supplies. This place offers dip powder! I have never had it done but they have a whole wall full of colors. Setting an appointment is super easy after your first time call in. So I went here for the first time , considering it has very good yelp reviews. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating but most likely will not go back due to the lack of patience of the manicurist. Kim had a very rough time understanding what I wanted , my nails are all different sizes one are thicker others thinner I wanted reg.. color nail polish but she said it would take to long to dry so she decided to do gel. Well the gel on some nail is very thick on the beginning of nail looks like a lump, at the end she said wash your hands we are done , no hand massage no nothing simply no patience well I should have known since she repeated twice that she wanted to go home! I was passing by the area and seen this place. First I checked the reviews seemed like a good place. I arrived and clearly told the girl at the front that I wanted acrylic on my real nails. Twice. They kept insisting on gel. Once she started I didn't realize she has already glued on two fake nails then I immediately stopped her and asked what she was doing. She said I wanted a full set when I never said I wanted that. This other lady walks over and says yes that is what you wanted. Like I didn't know what I want. I don't normally go for full set if so I have my own nail lady that I go to. You definitely feel pressured here. I did the full set and she says $45 plus more if you want coffin shape. We finally stumbled upon Han Nails and although they were closed, the owner "Han" was willing to service use . We sat down for two pedicures, gel polish change "fingernails" and an eyebrow waxing . Han waxed my Eyebrows and gave my fiancé a wonderful pedicure. Victoria gave me an amazing pedicure and Crystal gave me the best manicure ever with an amazing hand message ! UPDATE: I got my nails done Sunday afternoon and it's Tuesday morning and the polish is almost completely off. I even picked a color from a collection that they said lasts longer I used to really like this place when it was Lovely Nail. Now with the new ownership and after today's experience, I won't be returning. First off, the girl who started to do my nails was filing them all completely different. Different shapes, different lengths and none of them even. I asked for a new person and the owner told me I needed to make an appointment to have Han do my nails so instead the gentleman did them. He did a fine job of filing them and painting them. Then I went to pay and was told it was $15. Their website and the owner told me it was $12 for a manicure. Not sure why I was charged more but I was so annoyed that the first girl messed up my nails that I was just happy to get out of there with them painted. read more

I went into Han Nails on Monday the 2nd. No appointment, saw them on Yelp and decided to drop by. As soon as I arrived I was greeted and told it would be a few minutes. Well about 3 minutes pass and Han, the owner, tells me to come sit down and she wanted to start me, even though she was working on another client. She moved back and forth between the two of us making sure we were both satisfied. She was quick, efficient, and good at what she does. I will definitely be back, next time I will probably try their pedicures as well. I've been going to this salon for my pedicure needs for years now. They offer a customer service experience that you won't find anywhere else! The atmosphere and the people are amazing! They always make you feel so welcome and pampered. The prices are affordable for anyone, they have almost 3,000 nail colors to choose from and they spoil you with chocolates and good company. Their nail service was incredible. I had a spa pedicure and my cousin got a gel set. It was so relaxing and they took so much time really making me feel special. What truly stood out to me is how they treated my girls. It was their first pedicures and they're a bit young, 1-1/2 and 2-1/2. They were on their best behavior at the beginning but towards the end they got really bad. The ENTIRE staff took it upon themselves to entertain my girls from giving them candy, showing them nails and nail polishes, turning the massage chairs on or preventing them from running out the door while I was still getting my pedicure. First time in and really enjoyed being pampered by Tracy and Lee. The did a great job with gel both manicure and pedicure. They worked without confusion and finished within 45 minutes. Tracy did my pedicure finishing with my favorite hot rocks and paraffin wax. Lee was very meticulous with my very short nails and the last few drops of polish in the color requested. Couldn't find a new bottle of color so the ladies finished my nails beautifully with what color remained; 5 days in and my nails look great. Four stars because the other ladies in the shop kept trying to distract Tracy and Lee from the great service they were providing. Fortunately, Tracy and Lee kept making me feel special. I decided to come to Han because they offered a groupon and my roommate and I wanted to check out a different nail salon. Just want to start off by saying the employees are great. Han, herself makes sure you have an enjoyable experience. This post, in no way reflects the quality of service I received. However the quality of nails I received was very poor. I get my nails done about twice a month. I almost always choose to get gel nail because I have found that it last longer. The lady who did my nails did a very poor job, she got gel nail polish on my cuticles, did not color in the full nail, and put a very thick coat on every layer. My nails did not last a week before they started pealing off. I am very disappointed with the quality I received. I think from now on I will continue to use the place I have been going to for the past two years. Although they may be loud and busy, at least they are reasonably prices and do a good job. read more

I will not lie, they are clean and nice. Constantly asking if you want water and bringing you candy. The first time I got my nails done here was a red gel manicure with a little bit darker on the ring finger. They looked great and I immediately posted them on here. Within 5 days they were peeling. The second time my sister brought me. The white and black lines were sloppily painted on/I wanted them thicker and sharper and more straight. The thumb nail was supposed to have an overlay of a gold glitter ombre. Instead they just painted gold glitter over the whole nail. And lastly I wanted gold studs but they didn't have them. Instead I had to get what looked like gold jewels but turned out to be orange jewels. Nowhere near what I wanted. And I had 2 different people come to work on my nails because the chick couldn't figure out how to do the lines so a guy came over and just sloppily threw on the nail design white Polish over my black nails. And when I had specifically said I wanted matte nails multiple times to both of the manicurists, the guy just started throwing on glossy top coat. I had to correct him which seemed to irritate him. And within two weeks they were lifting up horribly around the edges. Overall they are nice-ish but they don't do quality nails and have a very small selection of Polish and jewels. read more
