Customer service is great. Love the ambience. Workers were nice. So this review is solely on the quality of the nails itself. I live in Elk Grove but work in Carmichael and after work I wanted to get my nails done for my birthday. I have a regular nail salon I go to in Elk Grove but by the time I left work and got to Elk Grove they would've closed already. So I desperately tried to find a nail salon available for a full set at 4 o'clock on a Sunday. Luckily Han was open. They squeezed me in before they closed which I was very appreciative of. While I got there I stated that I wanted a pedicure too but they are very close to closing so I was okay with not getting one but they insisted it okay so I also ended up getting a pedicure. I already had gel color on my toes, but it was horribly done so they could've just peeled off the old gel and continued with the new set, but they said they had to do a soak off which was extra. I also had dip powder on my hands that I'm aware required a soak off. I chose my colors and wanted my nail shape to be long and stiletto. My personal preference of stiletto nails are sharp tipped. And I kept telling the manicurist (didn't catch her name) that I wanted them as sharp as she can get them. But she kept rounding the tips. And again, told her I want them sharp enough to be able to poke someone's eyes out and yet, she still rounded the tip. I was ok with it bc they looked cute enough but it still wasn't what I wanted. My nails also were not very proportional to each other. One pinky nail was much longer than the other. And I had to tell her many times throughout the process what required filing and what nail needed to be shorter. My biggest reason for a 2 star review is the price. I am not one to be cheap but bc I have done my nails so many times, I kind of know the gist of what price is reasonable. My total for both gel pedicure and full set came out to 110$. For just simple colors, no rhinestone or designs or details. Which I thought was outrageous. While paying, I realized they don't have their prices anywhere on the wall or on a menu sheet or anything! Which is crazy bc you don't know what you're getting yourself into! Seeing the nice faces and calm ambience, I really wanted to love my experience, but if I knew I was going to be charged 110$ for a 70$ job I honestly would've just skipped on getting my nails done from the beginning. I really wish it ended there though. As I went home, not even 24 hours had passed and BOTH my pointer fingers had broken, one completely broke down the middle and the other one had a crack through it. I have gone a whole month without breaking a nail before, and I don't do any heavy lifting or put stress on my nails so usually when a nail breaks this fast I believe that the set wasn't done very well. I was off work for a couple days so I didn't drive all the way back to Carmichael to get it fixed until I came back to work today. Another manicurist redid my two nails and when I told her I wanted pointy stiletto she fixed all my nails to the way I originally wanted them. They are still disproportional in size but I'll manage. I was disappointed when they ended up charging me for the fix though. I didn't really have the energy to argue it. This place may work for you but I think I'm going to stick to my regular salon. read more
