I stopped by here yesterday. Marina was fantastic! She was kind, professional, and did a great job. I purchased the 1 hour Swedish massage for $80.00. It was worth every penny. I felt refreshed following my visit. I suffer from chronic knee pain and my knee pain subsided. The atmosphere was very relaxing/tranquil. I noticed the room was very clean and well kept. I will be recommending there services to friends/family. Thank you NRG day spa for a great experience! read more

NRG Day Spa is an upscale business with affordable prices. It is well appointed and stylish and impeccably furnished. The room I was in had a heated table and was very comfortable. Julie performed my massage and it was the best I have ever had. The problem areas were addressed and I left there feeling like a million bucks. I would highly recommend anyone to NRG Day Spa if they want an extremely good massage. Five stars are not high enough to describe the quality of the massage I received. I definitely will go back on a regular basis without any hesitation. read more

Arrives here at 10:30 AM. Business hours on the door say open seven days a week at 10. No one is here. No one is answering the phone.

I get massage therapy regularly for a chronic pain condition. I have had many massages from many places. NRG has become my go to. Kristina, the therapist I see there, is very talented. Every time I go, I am amazed by how much better I feel afterward. I used to see another therapist fairly regularly, but I always had to book a few days in advance (pretty standard). But chronic pain is tough, and one day when it was super bad, I decided to try NRG, because they could fit me in that day. Very glad I did! I wasn't expecting much (little storefront spas can be hit or miss), but the massage quality and availability have been superb. I will keep returning, and recommend NRG. read more

I believe the problem you're going to face, dear Yelper, is whether or not they even want to give you a massage. Storytime: I slept funny and woke up with a gnarly knot in my left shoulder blade. It ruined my gym day. Since I live close to this place, I looked at the reviews. Quite a mix. Most people were either happy with the quality of the massage or unhappy about the service. I decided to walk in, as their door has a "walk-ins welcome" sign. I explained I just needed an upper back massage, nothing fancy. I saw there were options for 30 min massages. Perfect. The young woman advised they were booked now but had an opening at 7:30 (in 40 mins). I said okay and asked if I needed to make an appointment. She just said "yes, see you at 7:30". (English is not the first language). I returned at 7:30, was asked to wait a few minutes, observed another patron leaving, then the young woman disappeared and another older dark haired woman emerged and asked if I had an appointment. I said I did and had made one with the young woman for 7:30. She apologized and said the owner called and said they are done for the day and also said there was an appointment now and they were unavailable. Yes, two contradicting statements of fact. read more

I feel that when they tell me to come in at a certain time, then when you get there , they say there are all booked. Is not cool.

Fantastic customer service and excellent Massage Therapist. Calm atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, clean linen, and rooms. Super affordable for the experience you receive and quality of service. The massage therapists are attentive, professional, considerate and very good at relieving pain. I highly recommended this bussiness and look forward to my weekly visits. read more

I just got done getting an incredible massage. I have never gotten a massage before and the girl literally had me in a trance. I left feeling like I could not control my muscles. Such a relaxing experience. I should have gotten the girls name. She was very professional and experienced. Thank You NRG I will be back! read more

Had an appointment for yesterday for a back, shoulders and neck waxing and was treated by Maryna. She used a cooling mask after treatment which helped a lot. Paid $60 and was in and out in under an hour. The young lady was very professional and polite read more

NRG Day Spa & Massage - Day Spas Near Me - Carmichael, California

Loved my massage!!! My favorite part was when I got the warm towel around my face and our nice conversation :)

I received an amazing hot stone massage from this establishment (if you can call it that). With that said, I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone, ever. My husband purchased a gift certificate for me in Late September of 2021. Since that purchase, our family dealt with COVID twice, among many other illnesses stemming from our already compromised immune systems. We have 2 toddlers! Haha- it was hard NOT to bring germs home :) FINALLY- I am so so so excited to get my massage (early March of 2022) and when I get there and hand over my gift certificate, the attendant tells me "nope, this is expired".. I was like wait what?? There isn't an expiration date on the certificate- she says- "it's on the website" I say.. don't you think you maybe should've written it on here if there is actually an expiration?? I've been looking forward to this for FOREVER and now I'm mortified as you tell me, quite frankly, that my $200 gift certificate is just gone... well, I cried! I was so so excited, I love massages and this was the first time my hubby surprised me with one and now I'm embarrassed and even more stressed out. I wish I could've used it sooner, but again.. there was no expiration date on the certificate. So I left, extremely upset, she finally said she was sorry as I was walking out and I responded with- "you should be sorry." I got home and they called me back, said she felt badly about how I left and she wanted to make it right. I told her I was mortified and honestly- why would I go back to a place who made me feel so shitty??! But- I agreed to go back, thinking I would get at least a massage that would equal $200..? (Also, at this point I checked their website and there is NO expiration policy listed anywhere). SO- I receive a massage, it WAS amazing, but it was not for 2 hours and they took my certificate back. After she gave me a hug and again apologized, I told the employee that she should stop telling people the expiration date is listed on the website. She said "why? Is it not" Sooo.. she was just lying, or merely repeating what someone else had told her?? At any rate- this was all very WRONG. So, I told my husband everything and he filed a complaint with consumer affairs because this business is not abiding by CA state law for gift certificates. We wanted to talk to the employee who originally helped us, but a couple hours after we called to see if she was working, my husband received a personal text from someone at the Spa, threatening to file a police report against him for harassment. Are you kidding me?? Now you are threatening my family??? What the??? So.. yeah.. This place is shady.. clearly there's something else going on here.. Don't go here. We actually did find the employee who originally helped us with the gift certificate because her picture is on a google review posing as a customer giving NRG a 4.5 star review. Interesting and again, kinda shady. read more

Was my first time ever in my life getting a massage, I didn't catch her name who did mine but she was amazing. I definitely plan on going back for an hour next time. I feel very relaxed! read more

Left very frustrated & still in pain. I've been dealing with a pulled muscle in my neck for a few days, so at 3pm I was able to get a 90-minute booked for 5pm (should have been my first red flag). I was told I would be with Julia, but when I got there they acted like they had no idea I was coming. I ended up with a woman named Christina. I'm in the industry, so I've had many massages, and it was unfortunately the worst massage I've ever had - it honestly made me question if she was even a licensed MT. Even though I circled my areas of pain on the intake form, she didn't ask me any questions about what I wanted worked on. She barely touched my neck, so the reason I was there went unaddressed. The music was foreign-language pop music, not relaxing at all. The sheet was tiny and thin, so when she removed the towels after scrubbing me down with them I was freezing. She left the room 4 times. And I'm pretty sure she was on her phone when she was working on my feet. I came here because of the good reviews, but I will not be back. I wish I would have stopped her at the 60-minute mark to save some of my money. read more

This place repeatedly will give you an appointment but when you show up they will tell you to come back tomorrow. Our customer service. Rates are too high as well. read more

Came here around 5pm because I had some tension in my back and was hoping to get some relief from a Swedish massage. The female masseuse did not know what she was doing. Was so light on the touch even though I told her to be more firm. She also kept skipping around from area to area. I could get my 5 year old son to give me the same kind of massage. Not what I expected from this place. read more

Just a lovely facility. Clean and welcoming. I love a good relaxing smell to start off a trip down relaxation lane. Anna greeted me and was my therapist. She is tremendous at finding all the spots that have been ignored for far too long. A magical 90 minutes of deep tissue relief. Hope I can do it all over again soon. Highly recommend! read more

Too expensive for the quality of massage given. There are many other places that will do a better job for a cheaper price. Therapist was nice but average masseuse. Front desk lady was kinda rude. It says walk ins welcome, which is not true. If you have another place, I would go to another place read more

Having had mixed experiences with Massage Envy, I was suitably impressed with the quality of massage and customer service received at NRG. The hot stone massage was exactly what I needed; pressure was medium as requested. Phenomenal experience on all fronts--highly recommend! read more

I bought a gift certificate worth $200 for my wife for her birthday back on September 29, 2021. Life gets crazy, we have two small kids, covid, working from home, all the distractions in the book. Long story short, she made an appointment to finally use the certificate on March 31, 2022. She gets there and the gal at the front counter tells her they cannot honor the gift certificate as there is a 6 month expiration on them. The gift certificate did have an area for the expiration date that was never filled out by the person who issued me the cert. The gal then proceeded to explain that if you look on their website, they clearly state the same, 6 months is the max for the gift certificate. Bullshit, we scoured the site, there is not a single word about the length of time you have to use the gift certs. Also, let's check the civil code for a minute shall we? In California, it is against the law for store gift certificates and gift cards to have an expiration date or dormancy fees. NRG, look up the state laws before you attempt to impose your own. I will be contacting Consumer Affairs and the BBB due to your clear lack of understand of plain laws. Feel free to consult Leginfo and look up the California Civil Code 1749.5 if you don't believe me. Needless to say we won't be back and I would advise anyone else to avoid this place. I don't take time out of my busy schedule to write reviews unless I truly feel they are warranted. They did cave and gave my wife a massage that lasted just over an hour, most likely worth $100-120, so we are still out at least $80. I am simply pricing this based off their services list. Take your money and business elsewhere, the hire people to do their reviews to boost their ratings, they're rude and unprofessional. They have been reported to the BBB. read more

Your guys website says walk-ins welcome, but didn't post "for couples massage is by appointments" maybe you need to edit your website!

Very friendly staff did an excellent massage for my wife and me. Highly recommend!!! Glad to be able to get a professional massage.

I have had really bad back pain for over a week. I was in so much pain, I called NRG this afternoon hoping to get a massage. I was able to schedule an appointment. I just got home from having a massage with Natalia. The massage was fabulous, and I feel better than I have in weeks!! I will definitely be going back for more massages with Natalia! read more

Best massage I have ever had. My boyfriend and I got the couples massage and we got complimentary champagne and a charcuterie board when we got to our room. I have really bad and chronic neck and shoulder pain. It takes a lot to get my knots out and I normally have a hard time finding someone who can. Even after reading the great reviews I was thinking "well ill have to see for myself", well... ill definitely be back for round two. Anna was absolutely amazing. She focused on my problem areas and did a great deep tissue as I was hoping! 10/10 would recommend. read more

I was gifted a 1 hour prenatal massage at this spa. When I arrived, I was greeted by a very friendly woman named Anya. She was also my massage therapist as well. She did a wonderful job at making sure I was comfortable. Her massage was incredible! It was the perfect pressure and I felt so relaxed after. The spa was very clean and inviting. Definitely recommend! read more

They were able to fit me in same day and I had Natalia. Natalia was nice and communicated well. However, I wanted to try some deep tissue with my Swedish and she did warn me it may be a little rough. I appreciate that she wanted to get rid of my knots but don't recall deep tissue being so rough at other places. If I come back, I'll likely stick with the Swedish. The one thing I wish they change is the music and people talking loudly in the waiting room. The music was some sort of 50s Elvis style mix with a few Spanish. It was not relaxing nature or waterfall like sounds. I could also hear others in the waiting room even though there was a sign that said quiet. Not sure if I will be back but I do encourage others to give this place a try but just not the deep tissue if you're sensitive. read more

I have had back and wrist injuries due to an accident and by chance tried a massage several months ago by Lina who works at NRG. I had had several other massage people but the massage did not alleviate my pain until I went to Lina. I could not believe how well I felt after the first massage with Lina! I went back about 3 weeks later and the same thing happened. The Pain was much less and I have been going to her every 3-4 weeks since. She is very nice and good at what she does. I highly recommend her and the massage parlor is very nicely done and is very responsive. Jack M. read more

Arrived at 8:10PM on a Sunday night, in dire need of a massage, only to find the doors locked.

Everyone kept telling me, do something for yourself Danielson . So made a call to this place last week, had no idea what to expect. Lisa made me feel comfortable and at ease. Walked out of there rejuvenated and ready to take on another day. I really haven't slept this well in a long time. Highly recommend, all the ladies there are stellar and really understood my pain. Simply amazed. Thank you for all that you gals do!!! read more

I found this place on the highest rated spas on Yelp last week. Went here for the first time last Sat. for a full leg wax. Marina did my wax and she did a great job - very thorough with it and explained every step and after care procedure. She was also very nice and friendly and made sure I was at ease the whole time. She'd be great with first time service customers who are nervous. The salon was very clean and decorated nice throughout. My only complaint that prevents me from giving this place 5 stars is that they charge a $5 service fee for paying with a card! That is very excessive imho. Nobody else charges that much! I will continue to go here though, just pay in cash next times. read more

Never coming back here again. I myself am a massage therapist and I like to treat myself when I can't do trades. The first four or five places I called either were closed at such a late time in the evening or booked already so I was happy that they could take two 90 minutes at 8:00pm. It was down a sketch looking ally type road but seemed legit since there were other medical practices in the lot. The sing in the window was tacky. The name is really corny. Pictures on the yelp review made it seem more fancy than it was. Rooms were very cold, tables were uncomfortable with no table warmer. Very thin small blanket that didn't even cover me all the way. The music wasn't working for some reason. The staff seemed very kind but I honestly felt like they had no idea what they were doing. They did no intake form nor asked if I had any areas that needed focus work. No client policy/therapist contract. Pretty sure someone there has professional MT training but not all of them and god knows where they got the "training" The Swedish Massage I got was very basic, hardly any pressure and when I asked for more she did NOT give me anymore pressure and to top it off they finished 10 minutes before our time was up....it's places like these that give this line of work a bad rep. I don't understand why the city of Roseville would give a permit to a place like this. I wouldn't even give a full star, half would be more like it. Only plus side, kind energy of therapist and I liked the lotion. read more
