This is my favorite Korean restaurant in Chattanooga! I highly recommend the Korean fried chicken, it does not disappoint!

I am Korean and their foods are really tasty and good. I recommend this place for sure.

Such a great place to eat. It's a true hole in the wall with authentic Korean food. Just fabulous. Staff is great and food and presentation is wonderful. read more

This place was soooo good! We started off with the pork belly wraps that were on point! Sooo good and juicy. So good that we decided to order a second round. For our main dishes we got Bibimbap and the Korean fried chicken. The Bibimbap was good, but the egg was too runny in my personal preference, and there was a bit too much sauce, but the meat was delicious and so were all the veggies. The korean fried chicken is a must have, especially with the spicy tangy sauce (it taste like im back in korea). Now the icing on the cake was the banana pudding we had for dessert! SOOO GOOD. It was so fluffy and creamy and was topped with fresh banana slices. It was the best pudding of my life. My boyfriend loved it and he doesn't even like sweets. A 10/10 experience, stop by if you're in town. read more

Han-mi is awesome. I've come here multiple times, and each time ordered something different. Every dish is excellent. Great staff, great food. You won't regret it. +1 for cool prints on the walls. read more

My go-to Korean spot! I love to add pork belly. A bit spicier than normal but SO GOOD!! The Kimchi Fried Rice, Korean Fried Chicken, Fried Pork Cutlet, Spicy Rice Cakes, are what I've had so far and I cannot choose a favorite. read more

VERY Friendly. Good food and atmosphere. Dont let the outside deceive you. They actually are open.

A much needed break from the kitschy southernese "kudzu bar" fare hawked throughout downtown and Broad Street. Every item on the menu is well prepared, fresh and delicious. Get the banchan, too. They don't mess around with the heat in their KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) either. Believe your server when they tell you it's going to be hot. This is one of those places you want to keep your own personal secret, but the place is just too damn good not to share. Some of the best food in Chattanooga. read more

Nice little spot, humble and yummy! Good spice level and I'm glad to see Calfkiller on the beer list! Service was good. I went on a busy night and it was clear that the staff were hustling to keep up, which they did! The tofu dish was okay, but I'll have to go back on a slower night to check out more of the menu. I'd like to see more seasoning on the tofu or some sort of flair if I order it again. I love tofu and eat it/cook with it frequently, and it just needs some extra help to really stand out sometimes. But the veggies/etc. were nice! Definitely go give them a try! read more

This place is AMAZING!!! I haven't tried a dish I didn't love. It's authentic Korean food. I highly recommend

One of the best restaurants in Chattanooga. The Korean Fried chicken is the best I've ever had and the Ramen is amazing. If you're on a budget, the ramen is extremely fair priced and full of flavor. Definitely try this place out if you're in the area. Just a few minutes from Rock City and Ruby Falls. read more

Loved it! The Bulgogi was sooo good. The banana pudding was best I ever ate! Don't leave without it.

Best Korean spot in town, friendly staff with really good food. Came here for lunch and got the Korean Fried Chicken and absolutely loved it read more

We had been dying to come try this place out! Being one of the few Asian fusion places in the area and so many FB reviews, we finally had the opportunity to go! When we arrived, we were super excited as it was packed inside, (good sign right?) we stood by the bar and waited patiently as a table opened up for us. We were also super hungry. The inside looked a little dingy, like an old converted Taco Bell with a bar area (Not what i expected from all the hype I heard and the deceiving online pictures I saw) The bar tender/waiter nicely took us to our seat and was very quick to bring us a menu and drinks. The menu was simple, I ordered what I'm familiar with, the rice bibimbap with ribeye, my honey ordered the fried chicken over rice (two simple plates) and dumplings appetizer. The dumplings came out quick, hot and what you expect, nothing special, I've had better frozen dumplings. **The food took a good hour and twenty to arrive!** Yes we got a few refills to hold us down, and if we weren't so hungry, we would've left sooner!!!The food was nothing special, the egg on my cold bibimbap (menu doesn't state it's a cold dish) was dry, the flavors were nothing special, it was a very sad looking plate for the time it took to arrive!!! Again, not what I expected (and yes, I've had lots of Korean food in my past) The fried chicken over rice my hubby had was decent to say the least. Panda Express has better chicken! Seriously !! **Pretty clear we won't be going back. If you have LOTS of time to waste and expect CRAPPY Korean food, this is the place for you!!!! *** read more

One of my favorite places in Chattanooga. Everything on the menu is delicious. Highly recommend

Delicious food. Kind waiter and waitress. Nice atmosphere. The waiter made sure our needs were met and we were enjoying our meal. The rice bowl was very flavorful and met my dietary restrictions. Hope to return next time we visit the area. read more

The fried chicken and stir frye noodles were both delicious. The noodles were really spicy but tasted awesome. Will be going back!

Wow. This place is awesome. The service was great, and we were seated quickly. The food is out of this world. Came out quickly, and was piping hot. The restaurant doesn't look like much on the outside, and it was recommended to us. We are glad we stopped in. The place was filled with locals too. The Korean fried chicken will change your life. We will be back. read more

My wife and I were visiting Chattanooga for a few days. I had been craving an Asian place. As we were leaving decided to try based on seeing them on Yelp earlier in the week. Great food!! The Fried Chicken was out of this world! We tried the pork collar and spare ribs. Let's just say I would be willing to drive up from Atlanta just to visit again! Will definitely be back! The service was also incredible, had a great conversation with the front of house/runner. You have to check them out! read more

Food was ok. Took a very long time to get our meal. No explanation, the waitress said she couldn't do anything about it taking so long. Not worth the wait in a place that was only half full on a Saturday afternoon. read more

We were passing this town and decided to take out dinner from here as we were missing Korean food. Did takeout for Galbi, bulgogi, bibimbap, mandu, and kimchi fried rice. Meat and rice portions were small and was too sweet. Kimchi fried rice had too much pepperflakes it got us sick the next day. The 4 side dishes more like 3 sides of kimchi and one banchan (zucchini). They try to keep it authentic which i appreciated, but the flavors were too sweet / spicy. Also this place is more like a "pub" than a restaurant. read more

So yummy!! I had the spicy korean ramyeon with pork belly and it was sooo flavorful! also tried the soju and it was very smooth. The waitress was extremely helpful since it was our first time trying korean food! Will be back! read more

This place was amazing. My partner and I are brand new to the area so we stopped in for lunch while unboxing. Zach was personable, helpful, and kind. He gave us great recommendations and poured a mean beer. That was all before the food came. When it got there, we gorged on fried chicken and bibimbap. It was delightfully spicy, helped clear the dust from our noses. We can't wait to go back for the full spread. Thanks for a lovely first visit. read more

Why is this getting good reviews? A dark beat-down place in a beat-down surrounding. What a disappointment. As hungry as we were, many things would taste amazing. Not this. On the plus side, the food was made by hand. Otherwise, how do you get half a burger with no salt while the other is super-salty? Salt killed the burger for me. My daughter loves salty stuff, so she said the ribeye burger was delicious. I want to say that the Korean fried chicken with sweet sauce was still a worse choice than a burger. read more

Han Mi is a thankfully new Korean eatery that has taken bloom in the not-so-convenient area of LBS (Lower Broad Street). Well, maybe when we're coming back or forth from The Barn for 6 months out of the year. We weren't really hungry when we dropped in for an early Friday dinner (the only car in the parking lot!) but were going to eat anyway. We have lots of Korean eating & cooking experience with living in Asia for a decade, learning to buy at Korean markets and certainly eating not only in Seoul, Hong Kong, Singapore & Sydney, but Atlanta (mostly Buford Hwy.) and some other American cities as well. The Mandu (or dumplings) were quite good, although frozen, I'm sure. They were properly fried and not gummy or soggy. My partner had bulgogi (8oz) which was spot on. As authentic as one can find. Must try the Pork Belly next time, however! I had the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) which comes in several flavors. It was fantastic- must order all flavors!!! But the next Piece de Resistance were the 5 banchan. These are not to be missed! Not the itty bitty one bite bowls that K restaurants usually serve; a saucer-sized 4 people could eat out of this size. They change as usual, but we had a made-on-premise fermented spicy Kim chi, a to-die for scallion salad, a daikon shred and the last 2 not forgettable, but equally enjoyed. Be sure to ask for sauces, one from the red carton & one from the green. Steve will know! He was our most helpful Head Waiter and can recommend anything there. The one thing missing? A Pancake. Even just a Kim chi pancake (but a seafood pancake) cooked right would be killer!! Great choice of beers. Boxed wines for now. But, Just Go! You will be happy you did. And like us, you will have found your second favorite place to go! read more

This place really slaps. KFC plate is enough for 2 children, and as a full grown adult, I still took plenty home.

Nice little Korean fusion spot in Chattanooga to get a quick bite or something to go. The staff was super friendly and the food was tasty. I had the noodle stir fry and Korean fried chicken and both were on point!! Definitely recommend! read more

So good!! We enjoyed our lunch here today, I got Bibimbop with ribeye and it was so delicious! We also got the dumpling appetizer which was also great. They had a nice little beer selection and the service was very friendly and we enjoyed talking to them while we were eating. We will be back to try more next time! So many good things on the menu. Thanks! read more

For a $30 meal, I expect more than a restaurant that looks like a sports bar on the inside. Bare concrete floors, burger joint tables and chairs, TVs on the walls and no toilet paper in the bathroom (no apology for that..) does nothing to help the ambiance of this Korean restaurant. My Korean BBQ ribeye was overcooked and stringy. The zucchini was tasteless and there wasn't a salt or pepper shaker in sight to boost the flavor. The fried dumplings were really good and banana pudding was a simple, but nice dessert option. I tried it. I probably won't go back. read more

Wanted to try Korean bbq so we came here. The place is very nice inside, a pub like atmosphere. Staff promptly took our order. I ordered the bbq pork bellies. The taste was great and just a little spicy, which was an unexpected and welcomed surprise. The employees were very friendly and professional. The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Very enjoyable experience and will definitely be back. read more

Fantastic food! This was our first time and everything was delicious. Definite repeat.

Ordered a bunch of things. The kimchee chige was the only thing that tasted good/authentic. The fried chicken was good but compared to other korean fried chicken it's below average. The soon dubu was instant and tasted old. Will not be back. Kimchee was ok. read more

Was quite underwhelmed with the food here. Ordered the spicy ramen w/kimchi & fried chicken w/rice. Mongolian spicy sauce on the side for chicken dish. Ramen was flavorless & wasn't a fan of the noodles used. Close resemblance to angel hair spaghetti. Chicken was well prepared. Plenty of flavor. Service was prompt, staff was helpful. read more

I feel so lucky to have Han-Mi close to home! After coming home from a trip, I didn't feel like cooking and I ordered some to-go. I got their braised tofu, fried chicken, radish kimchi, broccoli with miso and the banana pudding. Absolutely nothing was a miss. It was all delicious, and I'm still thinking about it weeks later. Looking forward to going back! read more
