I never thought I'd be so sad to leave an apartment but today is definitely bittersweet. The last 3 years have been amazing and if it wasn't for opportunities that came unexpectedly we would probably be here for at least another 3 years. Nikki and the team always took great care of us from helping with clogged drains quickly to Thomas coming to our apartment at 11pm when our front door handle broke. The complex is always kept super clean, the communal areas are routinely checked and welcoming, and we always felt safe behind the security of the gates. I Have lived at the Hampton pointe apartments for sometime now this is not a good place to live used to be the one time not anymore. There's car's is broken into 2 car stolen. Arnell says they're doing improvements, but you wanna know what the improvements are fixing the cracks in the asphalt that's our improvement is not worth what you pay for so look at someplace else and look at the cost ratio before you rent here. This Is not luxury apartments. There's nothing luxury about this place. The people that are moving are trash not everyone but a lot of them are. Been waiting for new washers for over a year what theydo is just paint the old ones and make them look new even after they catch on fire. Now that the father is getting older his kids are starting to take over running this place and they suck. The managers are on site really good maintenance guys are awesome. It's just the upper management are terrible. "attention" danger. hampton pointe apartments are not a safe place to live i repeat these apartments are no place to have a family. my garage has been broken into, car has been damaged with in the property, no security , no parking security, theres nothing good about these apartments all the good ratings they have are begged for by the managers the moment someone new comes in and get a discount in return. laundry is not updated since 08 when making complains management doesn't follow up. roaches and other bugs have been a problem as well. believe me when i say this. hampton pointe apartments are not a good place to live save your money and the trouble of going to see what its like. read more

My wife and I have been tenants at various Arnel apartments over the years, and without a doubt, this property has been our most positive experience. The biggest difference between the others and Hampton Pointe is Nikki, the property manager. She gets things done, always has a great attitude, and works with you instead of against you in handling any problems that may arise. The way she runs the place is just how it's meant to be - professional and efficient. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is just the property itself in the area its located. Traffic can be really bad because of proximity to the freeways, and the noise level at times is a bit much if your apartment faces the freeway or the tour bus company next door. read more

I've been living here for 4 years now and Nikki and her staff have been awesome the whole time. I literally have not had one bad exchange with them. Denise who is relatively new has been amazing as well with everything i've had from just paying rent to maintenance requests. They're all so personable that I sometimes go pay rent and we end up chatting for 20 minutes. Thomas and Rene who are the maintenance guys are freakin' cool as well. They're fast to respond. I've had issues with my toilet, lights and even the breaker, to the point that they had to schedule a vendor, and every single request has been taken care of. 5 stars and a thumbs up for good measure. Nikki, Thomas & Renee have done such a great job keeping up with the place the grounds are well kept, work orders get handled promptly and I never find homeless people searching through our trash bins. When Nikkie stepped away for maternity leave this place went downhill quickly it was BAD the place became a total dumpster, it became unsafe to walk around the property late at night. I hope to not see that happen now that Nikkie is not our property manager... I am highly disappointed with the news as I have seen her come back and turn this place around for the better and because I trust in how well she runs this place I have renewed my lease for several years in the past. This has been such a pain living here. I am constantly having to find a solution to any issues I have here due to the lack of management here at Hampton pointe. Today I went to do laundry and there is only ONE washer working and 2 dryers working. I spoke with a person on property who works for the company and they said call the office they have time to come look and put in an order for someone to fix these but they're lazy. I will not be renewing my lease here this place is a joke only time I see these ppl jumping to make things right around here is when corporate is threatened to be called if nothing is done. out of everywhere I've ever lived this place has to be by far the absolute worse. 1: if you ever have maintenance done, don't expect the maintenance people to know how to fix it. the oven in h146 has yet to work for a whole years lease. the stove stopped working twice. our ac has leaked non stop and the maintenance has yet to find a solution for that as well. 2: the front gate slammed into my car and when I went to tell the front office, Nikki told me "yeah the sensors barely work". I contacted Arnel and to this day they have not done anything to help fix the damages done to my car by their faulty gate. when we moved in, there were multiple razor blades along our windows. the screen for our sliding door was scratched and never replaced. My roommates car got broken into and the front office said "yeah we don't have cameras". Would not recommend living here unless you wanna spend too much on rent, and have half your utilities not work. After hearing that Nikki waa being replaced here, this did nott set well with us. The first issue we had even before we moved in was taken care that same day, all because of Nikki. When we needed maintenance done, Nikki had the team come out before 24hrs. I've never had a property manager care so much about everyone of their tenants. My wife and I just signed another year, and that was because Nikki made us feel like this is where we belong. She even made the time to help my son. Most property managers just see the tenants as $$$, Nikki sees us all as her family. With the amount of money we all spend to live in this complex, we should have some say into who is managing us. From the comments and reviews before mine, seems like I'm not the only one thinking and sharing this. Removing Nikki from this place isn't just bad business, but bad faith as well. A few days ago, I finally had the chance to finally visit one of my good friends who moved into the Hampton Pointe this summer. He rented a two bedroom, upstairs unit and I must admit, from the exterior of the building complex I did not expect much from his unit. As soon as I walked into his unit, I was impressed. Living room had high ceilings, spacious bedrooms with bathroom in each. Kitchen was a decent size and best part was he had a balcony...perfect for grilling and just hanging out during the summer. He also showed me around the property and everything looked well kept and clean. All the common areas (pool, gym & laundry) were also nice and clean. Decent size pool along with a jacuzzi. Since my current lease was ending early next year, I decided to stop by the leasing office on the way out to inquire of any future availabilities. Denise, who I believe is the assistant manager, was very helpful in providing all the information I needed in regards to Hampton's move-in requirements. She was very knowledgeable and patient as she answered all my questions I had regarding the property. read more

She cleaned up our apartment complex by removing squatters and people who hoard, and has done a fantastic job keeping the overall happiness of the place at high levels. But now she's gone? When she got pregnant and was out for maternity leave, this place became a cesspool for hoarders and drug users (under Terrance's management). Aside from the great things she's done to improve Hampton point, she was also a GREAT person; very relatable, fun, easy going yet firm and professional. Never once did I feel unable to speak to management about any issues we had, nor did they ever go unsolved. She was an all around perfect manager, so now that she's gone, I don't trust anyone to run this place as well as she has. We Might even look into renting next door at the new build apartments if this place gets rented by transients from down the street again. WORST PLACE IVE EVER LIVED. As some of the other reviews say this place IS FLOODED with AirBnbs and all the managers know it. I was let out of my lease early after threatening legal action because of 13 AirBnbs that we identified and reported. Anaheim Code Enforcement has came out and found them in violation and cited them but they'll lie and say they don't do it when they knowingly do. My vehicle was damaged by an AirBnb guest and the tenant was forced to pay the damage which I have receipts to prove. This place is near Disneyland so they know exactly what they're doing to make sure the rooms are occupied. My vehicle was broken into 2 times because they do nothing to protect the property, anyone is free to come in and out in the middle of the night. I would never recommend anyone live here if you want somewhere safe and peaceful to be. They'll repeatedly lie and say they don't allow air Bnbs but I have plenty if proof and was also released from my lease early because they broke the rental agreement. We even made sure that no AirBnBs were allowed when we first signed to which they ensured they were not only not allowed but illegal in Anaheim, yet they actively enable the illegal activity to fill their apartments. Nikki the manager will then use her own personal problems as excuses for not fulfilling her duties as a property manager. Most unprofessional person I've ever dealt with who knowingly lies to her tenants and participates in illegal air bnbs. read more
