We booked the New Year's Eve lanes for last night. The bowling itself was a lot of fun and well put together. Staff were friendly and helpful. The special booking came with a buffet of food and desserts. The food was not worth it at all and I wish I would've eaten beforehand honestly. I can't speak on their food from their restaurant otherwise, but can't say we'd try it based on what we had last night. If they upgraded to a better quality tasting buffet it would definitely be worth it. Wide variety of food was available, the quality was just poor. Daughter went to friends birthday party there. Her 11 year old and 4 year old brother went with me. Lanes were full so we couldn't bowl, which, wasn't their fault. However, when the food came out for the birthday party, I wasn't allowed to purchase additional food from the dining area for my 11 year old and 4 year old. So they had to sit there and watch all the kids eat. Do better hampton lanes. read more

The folks that work there are friendly but everything is very old and dated. During some frames pins were getting stuck and we needed assistance. The place needs some remodelling and updating. Many of the arcade games were simple, a few were not functioning and honestly the toys that you win are very cheap and not worth the price. read more

Oh man. Where do I start? I grew up in Northampton so I remember how this place used to be. They have improved and updated their look over the years but some of their customer service is terribly lacking, in the bar/restaurant to be exact. We came here on a weekend and rented a lane for 1.5 hours with my family. It wasn't cheap, but the customer service at the actual bowling area part was wonderful. The girl that got our shoes was great. She put us all the way on the end which was nice since we had some little kids. We were right near the Hammerhead Lounge. While we were bowling we just got our own drinks from the bar. It wasn't until 5 minutes left in our bowling time does an actual waitress appear and ask if we needed anything....seriously? But whatever. I asked her if we could eat in the restaurant with small kids. She said yes, but around 9pm they need kids out. Ok, that was fine since it was only like 7:45. We figured we could get in there and eat and be out by 9. Well, no. We went in and sat down. The same waitress (which I guess was new) came over to us after 10 minutes of 'seating ourselves' with menus. Then she asked what we wanted to drink and asked if we wanted to order. She seriously just handed us the menus....how would we know yet? She gave us another 10 minutes and took our order. We sat and chatted and by now it was like 8:30. Then the bartender came over to our table and started making the threats "You need to be out by 9pm" "You need to make other arrangements to eat your food" "You're going to have to take your food out to the bowling area to eat". SERIOUSLY. It was a Friday night, it's not like there were any empty tables out at the lanes. Every lane was packed. We were at a loss and we didn't even have our food yet. My sister left the lounge, went up to the front desk in the bowling alley and calmly explained the situation to the girl. She immediately said "no problem we will put you in Party Room B". THANK GOD someone there had the problem solving skills because NO ONE in that restaurant did. They were just kicking us out before we even had our food. We ate in Party room B which was fine. What wasn't fine is that the bill was majorly screwed up. We had a party of 12 that night so I guess it was bound to happen at a place like this. We ordered 2 hot dogs and an order of fries for 2 of our kids to split. Well they charged us like $14 for 2 kids meals. Our kids had waters.... I brought it up to the waitress. They just removed 2 drinks from the bill (?) Then they still charged us like $4 for fries and the cost of 2 kids meals. It wasn't worth the energy anymore explaining it to our waitress who took the order so we just paid it. The mess-up in cost was just reflected in her tip. This is one of the best bowling alleys in the Lehigh Valley. Just a clean colorful place well taken care of and the food is fantastic. They have waitresses that come take your order and bring your food to you which is unheard of anymore read more

Nice place for bowling. The screen animation is a hoot! The attendant was very friendly and generous when he finally got to us ( a little under staffed). The bar service was slow and drinks were weak. All and all it was an enjoyable experience however. I give it 4 stars because it is a fun family place and not a place for food and drinks. read more

We have always enjoyed bowling here as a family. We had my son's birthday party here the last weekend and the whole experience was top notch. Our party attendant (Ashley) did a great job. I didn't have to do a thing. The kids all had a great time. The party was affordable and much better than other places we have had parties in past years. I took my children and a friend out for a fun Saturday afternoon. It turned out to be a nightmare. They put 2 young mothers and their 3 children next to us and the mothers allowed their children to sit on our lanes and walk around with giant bags of cheese puffs. It got to the point that we couldn't walk up and bowl on our own lane anymore. What made it even worse was that we were paying by the hour, so our time was being wasted. I went to the front desk to ask if it was possible to be moved to another lane and explained the situation. One of the employees moved our names and bowling progress over to another lane, but their were people there getting ready to start practicing for a PPL event. Those people started bowling on a lane with our information and were using our paid time. We waited a half an hour for the situation to get fixed, but Hampton Lanes management didn't really care. We changed into our own shoes and carried the bowling shoes to the desk and a very rude, bald man asked if we were going to finish our time. I explained to him that we hadn't bowled in at least 45 minutes because of the kids next to us and the PPL bowlers on the lane that they moved us to. I didn't receive an apology for any part of the inconvenience that had happened. This really rude man tried to charge me $62. I refused to pay as we didn't get to bowl. I think each of us bowling 4 frames. Very rude management; we'll never go back!! read more

We had our sons 4th birthday party here. It was so worth the money! All the kids had such a great time and it was nice to be able to have all our family and friends together without having to clean or cook at our house. The kids all enjoyed their meals. We ordered pizza for all the adults and they all LOVED it. My husband definitely wants to order a pizza from there for dinner some time. The party attendant was very helpful and jumped to do whatever I asked of her. My only two complaints are the room isn't all that colorfully decorated. So I would def suggest buying some balloons to brighten up the party room. Also they did not tell us when booking how long you have the party room. I did not realize that it was only for two hours and was a little rushed out the room. My son couldn't even open his gifts there in front of everyone. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time and I would have prepared to have everyone over at our house afterwards.
