A bit old fashioned and aesthetically not up to date. Located not too far from the train tracks and can hear the horn blaring depending which side of the building you're on. From the 2nd floor I could feel the room vibrating ever so slightly. At random times of the day I would hear scratching or something moving around near the vents and walls which was kind of concerning. Only really happened when I turned the air system off and haven't heard a peep since the constant running. Likes: - conveniently located among all the food and shopping. Target and Walmart being a 2 min drive was amazing. - the fastest wifi i've experienced from Hiltons so far - heated pool, goes to 5 feet - friendly hotel staff, I get the best energy from them Dislikes: - limited parking - very narrow gym area, felt confined when working out - shower drain was broken upon arrival - entrance to the hotel from the main road is strange. I missed it the first time driving by. You turn by the CVS and drive past it and the Taco Bell until you arrive.

This was my first stay in a Hampton since sometime pre-pandemic. I was impressed with their pandemic protocols and felt that they had adequately cleared and sanitized the room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had no significant issues or complaints. GOOD - it was clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. The free hot breakfast was typical of most Hampton Inns and was more than adequate. Nice variety of breakfast items. COULD BE BETTER - it amazes me that a room with 2 beds (obviously gonna have more than one person) would only have ONE (1) chair. My wife and I had to take turns using the chair. And the lighting on the desk was very poor - not good for working. A little pricey but a nice place to stay.

It was an older Hampton but not in bad shape. I reserved a bigger room with 2 qeens on the Hampton phone app with no problem. The room had so much space, I wish Hampton would place more than one chair in it. Free WiFi and water pressure were strong. Mattresses were comfortable. Free hot breakfast was good and coffee was strong enough. Staff members from front desk to housekeeping were extremely friendly and helpful. I paid little under $200 per night including all the taxes which was expected since it was graduation week for high schools, Vassar College, and West Point Academy. No hesitation in staying in this Hampton again.

I found this to be an extremely comfortable hotel. I got a room with a whirlpool tub and that sure was nice after a day of driving. The room is HUGE and very comfortable. The bathroom is also a nice size with a vanity large enough for the toiletries of two people, and a walk-in shower. The included breakfast was also good, the seating comfortable, and all of the staff were friendly and courteous.

Stayed here on a work trip. I was able to check in an hour before the 3pm check-in time, which was SO helpful, since my work function started at 3. I really didn't want to wait until it was over at 10pm to check in, so it was nice to settle in a bit. The woman behind the front desk was so friendly! She was asking about the work function and made me feel immediately welcome. My room was spotless. I was happy to see they had a mini fridge and microwave. I LOVE when a hotel has a fridge! I wish I had known in advance so I could bring some healthy snacks. The front desk has a 24 hour little shop for toiletries and snacks. I was pleased to see that they had some healthy options, not just chips and candy, but some locally made brittles, trail mix, etc. Continental breakfast included: pancakes, eggs (scrambled AND hard boiled), cold cereals, muffins and other pastries, oatmeal, yogurts, fruit. Nice selection. The woman who was in the breakfast area was so friendly as well, making conversation with each guest and refilling their coffee cups. Overall, I really enjoyed my one night at Hampton Inn. There's a Dunkin Donuts within walking distance, but the Hampton Inn has a coffee/tea bar in the lobby that is free and open 24/7. So great!

But something about being here during winter was...magical. High class, intimate, romantic place for your partner and you to have a quiet getaway. They actually used real shaved truffle on top instead of just truffle oil like a lot of other places, so I appreciate the commitment to the craft. Complimentary breakfast was *chefs kiss*. Fun night time hangout at the fire pits with s'mores and brick oven pizza all night. I need to come back and stay in those cabins, I stayed in the mansion and it was the best sleep I've had in months. But you know what the stand out feature was? The staff. From the greeters, to the bartenders, to the management, they really made you feel special. Efficient, attentive, warm and welcoming. I can honestly keep going about how amazing the experience here was but I think I'll cut it here, just go see for yourself.

We were asked by the hostess if we had a rez and did not, so we were told there was only ONE table free and the rest were reserved. When I questioned the hostesss and mentioned we had a show and were only going to be there an hour she said "do you want to see my reservation book?". Um, no, there's no reason to be salty - and we overheard her say it to others as well. Not exactly hospitable; there are nicer ways of saying things. We sat at said "only table" - which was right by the door and next to the hostess stand - and we were immediately greeted by a lovely young woman who seemingly knew nothing about drinks and food. My friend asked for a lighter type of beer, not recognizing the tap selection and was told she should get the ipa (there was a pilsner option and I recommended that since ipas are not light). I asked for a simple marg, rocks salt, and asked what premium tequilas she had and she noted the well and espolon. Those aren't premium; and she mentioned casa Migos - great! Only to come back 3 minutes later to tell me They are out of that and offered some brands i had not heard of, which is fine , but when I asked if they were blanco, reposado or anejo, she had no idea. Regardless of not knowing her stuff, she was lovely and attentive. So now comes the food. We wanted some Snacks to share and ordered the hot honey chicken, tempura asparagus and a special hash brown that was supposed to have crème fresh and some type of roe. Cool - the perfect amount to share in the short time we had. The asparagus were not shaved before frying so you couldn't really pick them up and eat them with your hands as they were stringy and came with a side of mayo. Not an aioli or anything seasoned - just mayo. You had to cut the asparagus into pieces. Could be worse but ya think maybe you could provide a dipping sauce that wasn't a spoonful of hellmans? The chicken was not hot, nor did it have honey, but it was fresh. The hash brown special did not have crème fresh - it was sour cream- a lot of it - and was very crispy, which was great after you scraped off the giant tablespoon of sour cream. Overall the food all fell short in taste, presentation and price (they are not shy on their prices, which is fine if the food, even this simple, was amazing). This could have been such a better experience. Between the salty hostess, untrained waitress (not her fault), and food that was mediocre, we spent $109 before tip. Yep - for 2 drinks, chicken nuggets, fried asparagus and 2 hash browns....I would have happily paid it for great service and great food. Again, our waitress was lovely, just poorly trained and not her fault. The hostess continued to be short w just about everyone who walked in - and we only knew that because our "only seat" was right next to her. Do better Kinsley - even Michael Kosta, who was the show we were seeing at the Assembly, made jokes about having to leave that night because the hotel was charging 13k a night (a joke but we all understood he was talking about the pricing). If you're going to charge top dollar, then be top service. Make it memorable, and not in a way that makes one write a review like this. Hugely disappointing; not recommending and will not be back.

This whole time, I really thought this place was inside a cozy hotel about 2 blocks over. Guess you learn something new every day. We pulled up on a Thurs. around 4 with no res. and got seated real quick. Restaurant K. is airy, chic and gives a relaxed vibe. The menu is on the smaller side, but honestly, there's something for every eating style. We kept things light instead of diving into something heavy. Our spring greens salad was really good: hefty mound of mixed greens, lima beans, string beans and a hint of dill to make everything pop. Hubs had the double-stacked burger with white cheddar on a potato bun and loved it. I had high hopes for the hush puppies because they sounded amazing on paper- but they were doughy than corny and threw me off. Then came dessert. Again- sounded great on paper. It kinda feels like desserts get a "reinvented" treatment here(?). For instance, the strawberry shortcake was deconstructed: a few chunks of white cake, some diced strawberries and whipped cream. Totally unexpected. I ordered the 'Fun-Fetti Dunkaroos' with madeleines because they caught my eye, but they're smaller than standard. The food isn't bad at all. We were just caught off guard by how some of our selections were prepped. What really saved the evening were the cocktails. They were beautifully made and had a lot of strength.
