We stayed here for one night and enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean and the decor was modern. It appeared to be newly renovated and loved the decor and positve messages. They had plenty of options for breakfast, which was nice. There was plenty of seating, which was also convenient. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I also liked that there was plenty of parking. The bed and pillows were super comfy so we both slept really well. This hotel is dog friendly, which was nice since we had our dog with us. read more

I love Hampton inns typically, this one was what felt like newly renovated. The bed was pretty comfy. The breakfast is decent for continental breakfast. Their gym was great, 3 treadmills, an elliptical, a bike, dumbbells and bench, also a large area for floor routines. The room was clean but we did find a weird stain on the head of the sheets under the pillows that looked like old blood and that made me uncomfy. I forgot to mention it to the staff before we left (I didn't see it until the morning and neither me nor my husband had a cut that would make it ours) so hopefully they see this. My only other complaint is that their pet policy is vague on expedia, it just says "pets welcome" and doesn't give you anywhere to add a pet when you're booking the room. When we checked in they dropped that it was $70 per dog which is wildly high (most hotels are $25-$50/ea) so I really wasn't pleased about that. Besides those two things it was a good stay when passing through town. read more

Was traveling back home from a long vacation and our goal was Elko, NV for the last nightof our roadtrip. At 6:10pm we made the reservation. While still in Wyoming at 7:15pm we ran into car problems and realized that we wouldn't be making it to Elko to stay, so we called Hampton Inn and they put us through to the Elko front desk so that we could cancel the reservation. The lady on the phone there was the rudest person that I had ever talked to. The infliction in her voice was insulting to us as we are loyal Hampton Inn customers (we try to travel as much as possible and love Hampton Inns and their friendliness). Never had any problems with them until now which makes me think twice about giving them my future business. Was informed that since we are canceling within 24hrs then we will be charged full night stay. And if didn't like it we could call the manager Monday morning, (2 days later after we will have been charged full price) to talk to them. I understand that there is a policy and would have been happy paying a nominal fee but when the situation is out of our control and talking to my husband and I so rudely was unnecessary and uncalled for. read more

Friendly service, clean rooms, nice gym. We didn't feel like going out to eat so we went to the hotel store. It was low on stock--apparently they get weekly deliveries. Breakfast was alright. Tea and coffee was in the dining area so I couldn't get any as I had a dog. My husband said the yogurt was small & just one flavor compared to the larger size & variety in Hampton Reno and food was just okay & limited. read more

A flawless visit. Plenty of parking. Everyone was friendly. Room and hotel were clean. Shower pressure was fine. Nice indoor pool. They allow dogs. We normally skip free hotel breakfasts, but this one was pretty good. Eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, bagels, muffins, fruit, yogurt, all the toppings and condiments you might want, juice, coffee, tea. 6 AM-10 AM on the Thursday morning we were here. We're in the process of switching loyalty programs from Hyatt to Hilton (primarily because Hilton has many more locations). This was a great visit. read more

Not impressed with this hotel. Room was dirty. Pubes all over the shower wall. The bathroom was clearly not cleaned (tp roll was almost out and not folded). Sheets had a large yellowish brown stain on them. It just felt grimy and not clean at all. read more

Horrible, horrible and bites. Picked this place because reviews were decent. Rude check in attendant, whatever just wanted to sleep. 12:30 AM turn the lights off and why is it still so bright in the room? Because there are no real curtains! Like having a spotlight on your face all night, terrible sleeping conditions. Of course as soon as the sun rises just a little the room gets even brighter. Second pic was 5 AM. Rooms on casino side, especially 102, 202, 302, 402 will all have this nightmare. Next day have these weird small red itchy bumps in rather straight lines on my legs, turns out they are likely bed bugs bites. (Someone suggested they could instead be flea bites, great, that makes me feel so much better...) Disgusting, this rating is totally off base, stay here at your own risk!!! read more

We were very happy with our stay here after a 12 hour drive from Denver. The front desk staff was very friendly & helpful, enabling us to receive a ground floor room adjacent to the parking lot. We had to unload our truck, so it was very convenient. Our room was very quiet & comfortable, with a huge shower. The breakfast buffet was nice for busy travelers, with many options to choose from. Unless you are a smoker, I would not recommend the casino restaurant next door. Although the food was delicious, the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke was awful. ( However, if they offer food pickup, it might be an option.) read more

Do not stay here- Got a room & was unpacked & undressed & ready for a shower & bed - It was late Put on the water in the sink to shave & there was only hot, scalding water - no cold- almost dealable with so I tried the shower- same- hot water only Called the Front desk & they did not answer on the house phone so I called on my cell They would not send anyone to check it out & offered a refund if we left ( it was night) or another room far away I then checked the hot & cold underneath the sink & only the hot could be moved/. Not the cold/ it was stuck- so they knew of the problem Also note there was a note on the ice machine near our room that ALL ice machines were not working And the toilet paper- when we checked in there was a woman asking for a roll- in our room there was about 1/4 roll & no spare We ran out of Kleenex Whew! If you sleep in the bed of a truck, or on concrete, or on a stack of plywood, you will love these beds. It will take a couple of hours for my back to recover. Bad beds is a fail. They do have the standard bare minimum covid breakfast plus breakfast burritos to go. Our room smells like faintly like urine also. I am astonished that they feel this is worth $200 a night. Ok, well maybe it was better before the Covid, but we had a whole bunch of annoying things happen when we checked in after midnight. The first really annoying thing was there were NO LUGGAGE ROLLERS available at all and I had to manually carry all the luggage for bags for me and my wife and our three girls, and this was after being up for 22 hours and driving all day. So...... OK, I wrote that first part after the first stay, but then we stayed again 4 days later when we drove back and it was much more pleasant. Everyone there was really nice, and the room was too. I don't like how all the hotels don't have hot breakfast anymore. Anyway, I was having a tough day the 1st stay, but the second time I raised the star rating here. They had an indoor pool that would have been nice to use, but it was still closed. While on a short vacation to Elko, we decided to stay here. It is super convenient just off I80. It is located next door to the Gold Dust West Casino, so if you are into gaming, it's a super short walk. There is a Smith's Supermarket just past the casino. Across the street is a idependent coffee shop, a Teriyaki Madness and a gas station. The front desk staff was all smiles at check in and throughout our stay. The lobby area was very neat and clean and the room was spacious and clean. You can tell this place has pride because it one of the few places I've found where the stairway is carpeted, clean, smells good, and doesn't need to be re-painted or repaired. Alot of places don't put much attention into the interior stairways. The only gripe I have, and it's a small one, is that both mornings at breakfast, when I went to get my coffee, the dark roast urn was not hot, almost lukewarm. I had to use the microwave near the front desk where the convenience store items are kept to warm it up. read more

It was pretty busy in the breakfast area and a guest had to go to the front desk and ask for more milk and eggs. Not sure if the staff working in that area was on a break or what. I'm having right now one of the worst experiences I've had in a hotel recently. I travel for work, I'm staying in this hotel since last night and I'm leaving tomorrow morning. Last night, a diesel truck was parked right outside my window and apparently now diesel trucks have a mechanism that turn the engine on by itself to protect the engine from the weather. This truck was on all night and I could not sleep. When I got back from my work today, I noticed the truck was gone so I was super happy. Now at 5:30 p.m. the same truck or a different one is back and the engine is on again. I called the front desk and I was told by the clerk that they will not either find the owner of the truck nor would they watch surveillance cameras to find out the owner and ask them to please move the truck AWAY from the building so the other guests are able to sleep. Yet, although he's not willing to check to see who owns the truck and asks this person to move it, he's more than happy to inconvenience me and ask me to pack all my stuff again to have me move to another room. He can't inconvenience other guests but it's ok to inconvenience me then. WOW!!! I could not believe this and this person was kinda laughing at the situation and how I was asking him to find out and make things right for not just me but other guests sleeping next to this truck. I also can't believe people that have these kind of trucks don't think about this and park their trucks away from the building, this place is in a safe neighborhood and you can see the whole parking lot from any of the rooms on this side. I'm very disappointed with this clerk and his unwillingness to help his guests, like I said, I'm not the only one sleeping on the rooms on the back of the building. read more

Highly disappointed in the "free breakfast". Arrived around 9:15 am. Sign said hours were 6 to 10 am. No bread to make toast was anywhere. Never got refilled. Not a hard boiled egg to be seen and many a spoonful of potatoes and sausage was left. No replenished while I waited. Thank God there was hot or lukewarm water. Ice if it was even in the container melted hours before leaving hot water. Saw one milk left for cereal but it was also hot because there was no ice. Saw an attendant but she didn't appear to be worried at the lack of breakfast supply. Pretty sad considering this place is supposed to be in the Hilton family. Felt more like a motel six. Probably pass on this place the next time around. read more

My wife and I stayed at this location on August 7-8. We have stayed at this location several times and like the hotel, its location, and the level of attention to traveler's comfort we have experienced here. This time we had an issue with our room and I shared my concern with the desk upon checkout. Was not expecting the level of accommodation that was made by the manager and front desk person. Management at this hotel really cares about offering superior service to quests. I will continue to stay here. Great people. read more

Came here to watch the eclipse. I get that I might need to pay a little more for this. But... the room cost $391. $450 with taxes. If I booked the very next Friday it would have been $170 plus tax. I think this is the definition of gouging. Oh, and by the way, the free breakfast was not good. There were no eggs. I finally asked the front desk and they had to go find the person . Terrible experience, I booked a hotel room in May with two queen beds and when I arrived in June I was told they were fully booked and all they had was a king with a pull out sofa. The sofa was stained and dirty and I found used men's underwear in the closet. (The hotel staff removed it with a plastic bag) Despite them saying the hotel was fully booked, 4 rooms on my floor had the "covid clean stickers" unbroken on their doors. I requested to speak to a manager and I was told she would call me at 8am. She never did, instead I was given a $30 discount upon checking out. Very sad, normally I have great experiences at Hampton Inns. I chose the Best Western in Elko after this experience and had a much better time. read more

Our summer road trip stopped in Elko at the Hampton Inn. This is your typical Hampton Inn. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. What sets this one apart is the indoor swimming pool. It was great for the kids to swim. Nice depth and size. The water was not too cold. Plenty of seating all around. Highly recommended if you're looking for an overnight stay with a place for the kids to let off steam in the pool. read more

I stay at a lot of hotels for work, almost every other night. These are the rudest front desk people I have ever encountered.

Enjoyed this stay. Wide variety in breakfast choices for my picky diet, clean lovely room, all amenities, nice decor. Easy check in/out. Only quibbles: horrible bed linens, blankets and coverlet the texture of saltine crackers. Also the bizarre marketing/decor scheme insults everybody's intelligence ("hey there" "lol" "It's a Great Day to be Great"... come on!) Also hate the "barn door" slider that either closed the bathroom OR the closet. When my spouse needed the closet and I needed the bathroom, the door shut in my face. We stayed here on a recent road trip. Location is fantastic and the hotel was clean. Parking was easy and the staff was great. However, the beds here are terribly uncomfortable and cheap. I expected a much better mattress for a Hilton property. This was by far our worst bed of the trip by a long shot and made for a tough day of driving. If they used better mattresses this would be a 5 star. read more

Almost hurled when I saw the pillows and sheets, I have stayed in so many hotels all over the world. And I've never seen such filth. Also this was their "newly renovated nicest room". Hotel seems fairly new. Very clean. A bit spartan for the price . Room on bottom floor smelled like cigarette smoke. Staff was nice and gave a room on 3rd floor.
