Fantastic hotel! Full kitchen. Dish washer. Freezer. Plenty of space to spread out. Lots of simple and beautiful places to store my things while I was there. Found places to play violin for my YouTubes / Facebook and TikTok! Free laundry. Gorgeous pool. Comfy bed. Glad I had my soft slippers and an extra blanket. I could have pulled out their extra blanket , but that would have been more laundry / water / soap / effort for the planet and maid. So I used my own. I was cold. Put on my slippers and the extra blanket. Turned the heat up to 71 and then I fell right asleep. LOVE the room darkening shade. Wouldn't recommend the $30 for the extra Mountain View room. I didn't think it was worth it. The mountain is far away. Not close and huge. Eggs were cold at breakfast but still yummy. Lots of fruit choices! Apples (24/7), bananas, oranges, pears !!! I took 1 of each for my road trip snacking. Brandy checked me in and out. She is FANTASTIC. Love her. Great facility. Dog walking pad with baggies and trash there. Recycling in my room! Big tv. Love this hotel. Would totally come back. The price was in line with other hotels in the area, too. Elko looks fun! We're off to see the murals!

Standard Queen room. Very comfortable and modern.

I was really happy with this hotel. I was traveling on a solo road trip from Nevada to Oregon and back, and I stopped in Elko for the night. As a single woman traveling alone, I felt totally safe here. There's ample free parking and the lot was well-lit. The hotel is located in a little hotel park, with lots of other properties right around. There's a Winger's restaurant within walking distance, and lots of shops and fast food places a short drive down the road. The property felt modern and new, and my room was very clean. I love Home2Suites because they're set up for extended stays, like a small apartment. I loved the large workspace and the full size refrigerator. I was able to freeze a couple of water bottles to stick in my cooler to take down the road the next morning. I also loved the a/c unit. I was able to get my room frigid cold, and it was glorious! The water pressure was good too. This hotel has an indoor swimming pool and a laundry room where guests can wash clothes for free. They also allow pets, and there were quite a few cute dogs on my floor. The staff was good, and I was cheerfully welcomed as a Hilton Diamond member upon checkin. I was not given an upgrade, however. I don't usually eat breakfast but I checked out their complimentary breakfast bar before I left, and it was so gross I opted not to partake. There's a make your own waffle machine, but the area was pretty dirty. The other options were nasty looking, like microwaved egg sandwiches. I'd stay here again if I happened to be in the area. It's a solid choice for a hotel.

I travel for work a lot and have gold status with Hilton. I try to stay at Hilton properties often as they are predictable and consistent for work related travel. I choose the Home2 suites over the Hampton in Elko every time because the service is immaculate. The property is newer, and the rooms are bright and very clean. Service stuff is so kind and the breakfast is balanced. I often asking if I can check in early and I've never been given trouble about this. They have a fully stocked kitchen at that makes cooking dinner in the hotel possible. They also allow pets and are very understanding and accommodating to pet owners. I always stay at this Home2 suites when I am in Elko I never have issues. Thank you!

This hotel boast that they are the newest hotel in Elko. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

We reserved two rooms via Hotels.com prior to arriving. Upon arrival we were told the rooms TV's were not working and they were trying to get us rooms. The manager said she would give us a price break but since we booked through a third party she couldn't. On of the rooms was above the pool equipment and the room was subjected to loud machine noises all night. The other room was infested with black flies. I killed a dozen flies and went downstairs to talk to the manager. I was told they couldn't do anything because we booked through a third party but they would put notes on our room to aid in a refund. We obviously survived the night and after several days of dealing with Hotels.com they told us the hotel stated they upgraded our rooms so we weren't eligible for a credit. So the hotel was kinda nasty (I hate flies) and don't book through hotels.com.

Didn't have reservations. Two cats? No problem! Plenty of space for 2 humans, too.

Customer service is very poor. This is not worth the price at all. It's a $100/night property charging almost $350. Don't recommend.

So on one of the busiest weeks of the year, I was looking for a replacement six-night stay with two beds in a room, breakfast (ideally) and clean, safe environment. I found it and more at TownePlace Suites, thanks to host Douglas who searched me out a room that would work, hunted down my old Marriott membership number, and reserved the space 'til I could cancel my existing reservation and get myself across town. Though the price point initially set me back on my heels, he won me over with his promise of breakfast, dinners (this week special for Cowboy Poetry Gathering), and a functioning Jacuzzi. (What can I say? It's a long drive out here!) Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by James and another staff member who gave me the rundown. I asked if I could bring my own food down for breakfast "since I have food issues" and James walked me over to the breakfast nook to show off the GLUTEN-FREE and DAIRY-FREE options that are there on the regular, from rolls and muffins to soymilk within arm's reach. In my room, I found a kitchenette complete with clean, cool fridge/freezer, a sink, microwave, dishwasher, dishware and utensils and enough pots and pans to cook on the two burner built-in hotplate/electric stove top. There were two clean, nicely made beds, a clean bathroom, table large enough for four people, and two easy chairs, and more. SOLD! Yes, pricier than others. Yes, in Elko you get what you pay for.

Their gym was great, 3 treadmills, an elliptical, a bike, dumbbells and bench, also a large area for floor routines. The room was clean but we did find a weird stain on the head of the sheets under the pillows that looked like old blood and that made me uncomfy. I forgot to mention it to the staff before we left (I didn't see it until the morning and neither me nor my husband had a cut that would make it ours) so hopefully they see this. My only other complaint is that their pet policy is vague on expedia, it just says "pets welcome" and doesn't give you anywhere to add a pet when you're booking the room. When we checked in they dropped that it was $70 per dog which is wildly high (most hotels are $25-$50/ea) so I really wasn't pleased about that. Besides those two things it was a good stay when passing through town.

I love their pancake machine and that they have high-end yogurt. This location also had one more hot dish items compared to other holiday Inn express. Unfortunately, they had a hard time keeping items available in the morning. Their breakfast hours were fantastic. It's 5:30 AM to 9:30 AM. If you're interested, they offered free dinner on Tuesday and Wednesday for guests who are staying longer stays. We never took advantage of it. The hotel itself is starting to get old. It was annoying that the smoke detectors were right above where you sleep so the light that flashes every 30 seconds kept waking me up. Typically that's by the entrance or somewhere so it's not distracting at night. It was a little frustrating when I booked my stay months ago that the price quoted was slightly different than what I actually paid. They tacked on a credit card processing fee, which seemed really strange. Do they really want me to show up with a check? All in all I would definitely come back.

Now this ..THIS is what I'm used to at Red Lion (now, Maverick but it'll ALWAYS be Red Lion to me!)…read more I even have a players card that is SO old, the kind folks at the Players Club cage had never even seen the old infamous "Green Card"! Had to update it to the modern version. I've been a long time frequenter of this place throughout the years.. My son lives here, but I come thru often because I live in Sparks, and this was always my go to up until about 3 years ago, that I had such a tragic experience, I abandoned my room for the 2nd night and stayed at Shutters. NOT anymore! You can read my reviews of "Red Lion" if it's still available, and surely you're reading this updated review for Maverick. WHAT a turn around. First off, I was offered a comp weekend because of my experience a few years back. That particular GM wasn't there, but I called to see if they were still honor a comp room for a night, and despite there being a couple years in between my last visit, they still honored that promise. That spoke volumes. My room, was perfect, exactly what I'm used to with this place. Didn't eat at Aspen this time, just some gambling and cocktails. We started off in the back bar, and I can't remember the nice lady's name, but she was on point. WE gambled and drank a bit, then went and gambled a little bit more, and actually won all of our money back, so we decided to sit in the front bar and just pay for drinks so I didn't give the house back the money hahaha Char (pronounced like 'Cher', not Char-Broil hahaha) was our bartender in the front bar. She actually helped us on the floor also before we sat to drink. It was the day after christmas, and their staff was run wire thin, they were covering the floor and bartending, busting their butts. I've never had an issue with service here, ever. It was cold outside, even snowed overnight. Not a single issue with the AC, despite others complaints. Thank you guys again, for honoring your promise from years past. I'm completely satisfied once again, and now I know the calibers back on point, this once again, will be my go-to, and with my new fancy updated players club card! Our stomachs growled so we both agreed to grab a table for an unplanned breakfast. We hit the jackpot with our waitress Mary, very nice lady. She even surprised us with some unexpected Spanish speaking; I was glad I didn't have to translate for my friend this time. We ordered a $26 Steak-n-eggs plate each which consisted of a portion of hard chewy steak, dry hash browns that felt and tasted like catholic first-communion wafers, 2 eggs and some oddly delicious pancakes (their texture was firmer compared to the conventional, which I enjoyed very much). Mary came to us right after we took our first bite checking if everything was alright. Up to where we were at the moment, we said yes and kept eating. It wasn't until later down the process that we realized we were not enjoying the plate nearly at all. Mary's great service and personality does not match the quality of food served in this restaurant. I really want to go see her again, but I sincerely don't want to eat the food served here. This first sweet and sour experience is now engraved in me, but one experience out of thousands does not define the place, so I suggest you give this place a chance.
