I travel extensively for work (150+ nights in hotels per year) and am a Diamond Hilton Honors member. This is hands down one of the best Hampton Inn's I have stayed at in recent memory. Upon driving up I noticed the property was very clean and tidy. I was greeted warmly by the staff and quickly checked in and thanked for being an Honors member. They had complimentary refreshments in the lobby (I have not seen this in recent hotel stays). Room was clean and smelled fresh, very comfortable. Worked out in the fitness center, it was larger than most Hampton Inn fitness centers - 3 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, a Peloton and weights to 75lbs!! I was beyond happy. Breakfast the next morning was hot and had a great variety, the breakfast ladies were nice and welcoming and even took my trash from my table. Got a cup of hot coffee and I was on my way with no issues and even given a bottled water to go. As a road warrior I can tell you this property stands out, do not miss the chance to stay here! read more

This spot is tricky to rate. It was between this hotel and another hotel further south, which both had good reviews. This hotel was listed as newly renovated so we decided to go ahead and book it. We were heading back from NYC, back to FL, and this area seemed like a good midpoint to stop. We arrived late in the evening. As we just settled in, I noticed what looked like a roach crawling up the wall. That is the worst first impression for me. We needed to eat food so the only option looked like Uber Eats. We decided to go to the market in the lobby to purchase some wine and beer to sip on while we waited for food to be delivered. We chose 4 drinks because there was a bundle deal (4 for $20). We waited a couple minutes before the front desk woman came from the back to help us. She was writing down $6 for each and I reminded her of the bundle deal that was advertised on the fridge door, which it seemed like she was unaware of. Fine, but that was not the last situation. As we were sitting eating our food, she came over to us and reminded us to clean up after ourselves. I know she does not know us and probably dealt with slobs but that was a strange request. Several people came in requesting a room for the night and she was bizarre to all the different parties that came in. She was basically telling certain people no rooms were available. It's a lot to post all the examples but she informed one person there was someone that called that she was waiting to show up, took his number, and said she would call if those people did not show up. They showed up and she never called the other person but gave a room to the next person that walked in requesting a room for the night. After we were done eating, she approached us again asking how much longer we would be sitting there because she wanted to clean. That definitely motivated us to finish and leave ASAP. Breakfast was okay and the staff were friendly but they were yelling at each other across the dining room. Oh and the breakfast employee came around and offered last call so I requested more dem roast coffee because it was empty and she mumbled something about breakfast being closed. Um, Hampton Inns provide all day coffee. The place was nicely renovated and clean except for the roach in the room. read more

A great place to stay when traveling from NJ to Florida with my 2 dogs. The hotel is right off the interstate with a large well kept dog park right outside. The hotel provides balls and biscuits for the dogs as they come in at the elevator . My pups were so happy and comfortable here. I had a quick one-night stay here to help break up a long day of driving. Hotel felt very new. Check-in was quick and easy. The front desk agent wasn't wearing a mask when I arrived but put one on to check me in. While I appreciate the thought, that's not really how all of that is supposed to work. Room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. Location is right off the highway and within walking distance of a Char-Grill and a local Italian restaurant. Easy options if you don't feel like straying far from the property. Not sure if I'll be passing through this way again, but I'd say here again. read more

We stayed here for a night driving to NJ from FL, it was packed. The hotel is dog friendly, but all the rooms and hallways are carpeted...I don't think this is a good choice. The walls are thin so you can hear other dogs barking, which then caused my dogs to bark. Rather that have the pet friendly rooms grouped together or close to the elevator they are spread out. There is very little outside space to take the dogs to the bathroom, while the dog park is located within a few steps it can get very busy with others guests and travelers stopping off 95. The carpet and furniture had stains, and the bathroom look like a child had tiled it. I'd recommend you stay elsewhere or keep driving. read more

BRAND NEW hotel location right off of I-95 Benson exit. I mean, my room had the "brand new smell" and all. I was told I was the first person in to stay in the room I was given for the night. Enough of that excitement. I really enjoy the Hampton Inn hotels. Price, amenities, and the Continental breakfast. This location is very impressive with all that it offers like the Hybrid car plug-in parking spots, outdoor seating with a TV by the pool, larger gym, business center, a few other things I didn't look to much into because I wasn't there long. As stated, the hotel is new, so there was not any issues or anything to nick pick at, at all with the room. To be truthful, it was set up so nicely it made me want to stay longer. Price for one night was $120. Not to bad for all that you get. The front desk agent was courteous and inviting upon entering the premises. Answered my questions that I had and ask me questions to see how they could accommodate my stay. Don't have much more to write about this hotel other than that I highly recommend it. read more

This Hampton Inn by Hilton, is right in the middle. There were some great things about this hotel, but then some not so great things. First off, this is right in little ole Benson, which we were visiting for a wedding. The website says that the check in was 4, but others that booked through things like hotels.com, it said 3. Regardless of what the time said, many people still had to wait for their rooms to be cleaned well after 4. This was mainly because they were short staffed. This was something I completely understand, but should be kept in mind. Once we checked in, we went to our room, which was a pretty spacious room. This was a pleasant surprise. Our friends also had a king, that had a different layout but also was very spacious. This was something I really liked. Aside from the layout, the bathroom was okay. Not the cleanest, but my expectations for hotels are pretty low these days when it comes to bathrooms being sparkling clean. The hotel itself, has a pool, and a nice outdoor area to hangout in. They also have where the breakfast is served, that if you wanted to hang out in there with family or friends, you can do so. Lastly, the breakfast in the morning, was another plus. They had the normal items like yogurt, cereal, and various pastries. But they also had the waffle machines that I love, various juices, and some other savory choices for breakfast. read more

This was the perfect stop on my long distance drive home for my fur baby and myself. She her rest full night and enjoyed Benson's Dog Park next door! Wonderful hot breakfasts and nice beverage stations! The woman that was running it was very helpful and assisted me because I forgot a loon on the way out with my dog. I love the dog park that is owned and operated by the City of Benson and is located next to the hotel. We have stayed here for several years when traveling to and from Florida. Another plus is that this hotel is pet friendly, which is a must since we travel with two dogs. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and seems to really like dogs. However, on this recent stay, we found the receptionist who checked us in to be extremely unfriendly and abrupt. The accommodations are ok, and the hot breakfast is amazing. We could not adjust the shower head so that it did not spray toward the wall. That made the water pressure less than desirable. The hotel provided enough towels for our use. It appears that the hotel is dated, and may be in need of an update. I hope they consider doing that as it is a favorite for us dog owners. read more

I'm so glad we were able to find a dog friendly inn to spend the night on our road trip! We originally stopped a few exits not too far and they didn't allowed dogs but this location did and it wasn't too far away. They have two huge dog parks one is for smaller dogs and the other bigger. They have poop bags and some benches you can sit while the dogs hang out and do their thing. The hotel was great for a one night stay, they offered complimentary breakfast which was beyond a continental breakfast, I had a turkey Sausage, egg, cheese breakfast sandwich, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and oj (so delicious & fresh) they don't let you serve yourself (due to cov-19) so everything is prepackaged and ready to be given to you by one of their staff. They usually will put the breakfast menu right by the cafe so you know your options. The coffee is self serve and that was pretty good as well. Checking in and checking out was very smooth. They have an outdoor pool which looked great, and the room was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our one night stay with our pups! I highly recommend it ! read more

I travel the east coast rather often and use this hotel whenever possible. I have seen some negative reviews concerning dogs in the hotels but never have seen any issues in my experience. The Tesla charging station attracts some rather strange non-hotel guests and also takes away from much needed hotel parking. I realize the obvious need for the charging station but not a big fan of having it within the hotel footprint itself and taking up all the best parking spots at the side entrance. I have found this hotel to be consistent, friendly and clean. read more

Checked in late. The front desk staff was just ok. The overall decor of the room was good and clean. Although we were facing the highway, there the noise wasn't very noticeable. Checked in for one night while on business. The hotel is clean and well appointed. The location is good. We were on the 3rd floor and there were jets flying over. If you're a very light sleeper this could be an issue. The entire hotel is non smoking which we really appreciate. There's a dog park connected to the hotel. I think the website stated pets are $25 per day. I'd call the hotel directly to make sure. The only food delivery available is Dominos/ one other pizza place. The location is very limited in terms of dining options. Overall, a great choice if you don't want to stay in Fayetteville and you don't want to go into Raleigh/surrounding areas. We stayed here overnight in January. The hotel is very convenient, quiet, and very well maintained. The room was spacious and clean, bed very comfortable. The breakfast was good. The staff at reception in check in and out were very nice and friendly. The lobby was really nice, they had taken time to add some nice cosy touches. After driving 12 hours I stopped here for some rest before my final 8 hours of driving. At 130 am the fire alarm went off and ruined my night and I couldn't get back to sleep. One of their employees burned some food in the break room. I was promised a refund but am now being told they will not give me a refund. Wonderful new hotel right off of 95! We needed an overnight stay on our drive home and Hampton Inn Benson ticked all our boxes. Here's what we loved: The hotel was built in 2018 and it still had that new construction smell to it when we were here last week (May 2019). A small outdoor pool (depths of 3 - 5 ft) outside (pool towels provided, yay!) was perfect for our girls to burn off some energy after being cooped up in the car all day. There is a 24/7 business center on the first floor and the hotel is pet friendly. The water pressure in the shower was AMAAAAAAZING. There is a complimentary coffee/tea station in the front and a variety of snacks for sale at normal prices (read: no price gouging here!). Also, they have out complimentary snacks and punch until 9 pm. Not such a fan of: The super soft beds. My husband and I both need something a little firmer for our backs. The staff we dealt with was kind of hit or miss...the morning staff was definitely way friendlier than the evening staff. We stopped here on our way to Charleston and we were very happy with the service and friendliness of the staff. Our room was clean and they had snacks out when we arrived to take. They also let my son pick out a hot wheels which was really a nice touch. The breakfast the next morning was nice and the staff made sure to have everything you needed during the hours it was available. First of all, as a dog lover but not an owner, I was disappointed at the number of dogs staying at this hotel. I listened to 2 dogs barking for 3 hrs last night. Great customer service. Rooms are a bit overpriced. Shower pressure was unbelievably low and shower needed to be recaulked and cleaned. I was on a smoke free floor, but it still smelt like smoke. The towels may need to be washed with some vinegar and baking soda as they had a dingy tint to them. read more

Was a 1 night stay for me and my family and the 1st experience walking through the front doors was pleasant and the customer service was excellent. Upon entering the room I immediately noticed how clean it was and about 30 mins into the stay I received a courtesy call asking if everything was ok and that was great as well.
