There was a closet and a shower/tub combo. Comfortable bed. There's a hot breakfast in the morning. It consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, and potatoes along with waffles, cereal, and bagels. I like that the breakfast goes until 10 a.m. and checkout is at noon since we aren't early risers. Staff was pleasant. The only real negative is that there isn't any laundry area for guests to do a load of laundry. There is a room with two computers and a printer for guest use. There's a steakhouse just across the parking lot. The food isn't great considering the menu prices, but it will do if you want a sit-down meal close by.

There is a small indoor swimming pool (It was always full when I was near it so I didn't get a photo) and a small fitness room with a variety of equipment. The hotel had two elevators but just one seemed to be working and it was very slow. The left elevator never seemed to be operating during my stay. Breakfast was nice with a large variety of hot and cold items available. I'd stay here again if in the area.

Upon driving up I noticed the property was very clean and tidy. I was greeted warmly by the staff and quickly checked in and thanked for being an Honors member. They had complimentary refreshments in the lobby (I have not seen this in recent hotel stays). Room was clean and smelled fresh, very comfortable. Worked out in the fitness center, it was larger than most Hampton Inn fitness centers - 3 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, a Peloton and weights to 75lbs!! I was beyond happy. Breakfast the next morning was hot and had a great variety, the breakfast ladies were nice and welcoming and even took my trash from my table. Got a cup of hot coffee and I was on my way with no issues and even given a bottled water to go. As a road warrior I can tell you this property stands out, do not miss the chance to stay here!

This hotel was listed as newly renovated so we decided to go ahead and book it. We were heading back from NYC, back to FL, and this area seemed like a good midpoint to stop. We arrived late in the evening. As we just settled in, I noticed what looked like a roach crawling up the wall. That is the worst first impression for me. We needed to eat food so the only option looked like Uber Eats. We decided to go to the market in the lobby to purchase some wine and beer to sip on while we waited for food to be delivered. We chose 4 drinks because there was a bundle deal (4 for $20). We waited a couple minutes before the front desk woman came from the back to help us. She was writing down $6 for each and I reminded her of the bundle deal that was advertised on the fridge door, which it seemed like she was unaware of. Fine, but that was not the last situation. As we were sitting eating our food, she came over to us and reminded us to clean up after ourselves. I know she does not know us and probably dealt with slobs but that was a strange request. Several people came in requesting a room for the night and she was bizarre to all the different parties that came in. She was basically telling certain people no rooms were available. It's a lot to post all the examples but she informed one person there was someone that called that she was waiting to show up, took his number, and said she would call if those people did not show up. They showed up and she never called the other person but gave a room to the next person that walked in requesting a room for the night. After we were done eating, she approached us again asking how much longer we would be sitting there because she wanted to clean. That definitely motivated us to finish and leave ASAP. Breakfast was okay and the staff were friendly but they were yelling at each other across the dining room. Oh and the breakfast employee came around and offered last call so I requested more dem roast coffee because it was empty and she mumbled something about breakfast being closed. We stayed in the spacious Jade Room, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Alan and Patty were wonderful hosts, and breakfast the next morning was absolutely scrumptious! And as a classic-car girl, getting to see the beautiful Rolls-Royce was the cherry on top! Simply Divine is more than a place to stay--it's an experience. I've stayed at tons of Super 8's on many different across-the-nation road trips and second to the one in South Dakota, this one is pretty dang good! My husband didn't have a great experience with the lady working night shift (attitude and unhelpful) but the day time lady who was preparing breakfast, who is obviously the authority figure on staff (very assertive and professional), was courteous, polite and very pleasant! Breakfast was good, they had all the usuals such as cereals, oatmeal, toast, Smuckers packaged cinnamon rolls, apples, yogurt and a Belgian waffle maker. For beverages there was coffee and orange juice. Satisfactory. Great walking spaces and big yard areas for the doggies to sniff and potty! The yards were clean for the most part too, which is nice to see they take care of their property! The rooms were pretty cute! The beds had nice plush sheets, the mattresses were very comfortable and obviously a step up from the very bottom line of mattresses, loved the quaint picture above the bed (definitely added a bit of finesse) and the flat screen in the wall was a FANTASTIC touch! One smells manure and dog and the other is covered in cobwebs, food particles on the floor, and obviously hasn't been wiped down. I go outside to find the front desk lady talking to my sister, telling her she mischarged her the additional fee because we had already paid it! We tell her that the first reeks of dog and manure and she goes "I can't come smell it, I have minors(her children) inside and I can't leave them alone. And I know they just cleaned that room." Ma'am why are your kids here if you're working? it was extremely unprofessional and she offered no help. So my sister goes back and requests a new room. We get up there and this one reeks of weed and is also dirty. At this point we are so tired we just wiped everything down ourselves. (We didn't find out until the next day that our fathers pillow was covered in what looked like blood.) When we went to leave the next day we saw the housekeeping putting the old sheets back on the beds in room 102 and only taking the top sheets away. Pool was not open at all, amenities sucked, and staff was very rude and unhelpful. We won't be staying here again and I'll be telling everyone I know not to go here.

After such a long drive, I go to use the restroom and literally squatted over the seat like it was a public restroom because of how disgusting this bathroom was. The more I look around, this room reminds me of one of those that you usually only reserve per hour, if you know what I mean. I immediately started taking pictures. I'm not a confrontational person so I initially call my husband, on the verge of tears, because there was absolutely no way I could sleep in this room. There were burn holes on my bed. Mosquitoes and gnats on the ceiling and walls. My door barely latched shut and looked as if it had been kicked in numerous times. The photo with the fly on the rusty refrigerator was my room. The other room had the microwave and coffee pot in the bathroom by the sink on the counter. I didn't even want to sit my clothes on the chair because it looked like it had blood stains. The office chair they have on their desk had all of the leather peeled off of it. My husband has me come meet him at the event and show him the pictures. The pictures Ive attached are of two different rooms. We had another group with us that we reserved a room for as well. Who also just checked in and left with my husband. When I showed him these, he's just as disgusted. I was able to find another hotel across the street with great reviews and accommodations and booked with them. We leave our event and go back to the hotel to get our stuff and I turn in our key. She tells me she knows she can refund Saturday night (the next night) but doesn't know about tonight (Friday night) because we were checked in for more than 30 minutes. At that point I told her I understand but that's also why I'm turning in the key so that they don't think I'm staying the night there and that I will follow up with corporate in the morning with the photos, etc. She tells me to come in the morning when the manager is there to talk to them. I come in the next morning (different clerk at this point) and she says the manager is not in but she will give them a call because of the whole not being able to refund me for Friday night. We, at that point just leave. She calls about 5 minutes after we left to say the owner said he has refunded us both nights. Don't get me wrong, they were nice people working there but their pictures online are an absolute lie and misinterpretation of what their establishment actually looks like. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to even a roach. Shoot, they probably wouldn't stay there either. We didn't stay long enough to figure out where their "complimentary breakfast" was. I'm also still waiting on my refund. They said it takes 3-5 business days. So we'll see. So glad Country Inn & Suites (Angelique) was able to help save us that weekend.

The negative - EVERYTHING else! The room seemed dingy with scuff marks on the entrance door and stains on the easy chair and desk chair with a slight smell of mustyness. ALL the lamps were rusty and all the shades were broken and stained. I did go back to the desk, but it seems all the rooms have similar deficiencies. This room had no ironing board or dry cleaning bags. In addition, the exhaust fan did not work in the bathroom. The topper was the major leak into our bathroom at 4:30AM with the ceiling falling in. The front desk did give us another room to shower. There are no phones in the rooms, so we had to get dressed to go to the front desk....I think a major security issue not having phones. I changed this from 1 star to 2 stars because the GM did the right thing and refunded our money.

After a long day of driving, we just walked in without prior online registration, but the place wasn't at all busy. It was originally a different brand hotel and bought out by Red Roof, which explained why I first thought it was a new branch. It has been renovated somewhat, plus the listing on Yelp is brand new. But it s only new to the Red Roof franchise. There were a few problems with the place, not the least of which of a large step in shower with zero handrails or grip. My wife was a little fearful of making a misstep and slip. The key cards didn't work a lot of the time. There was a mini fridge and a mini microwave, plus several charging ports for phones and other devices. The beds were comfortable also. Major construction was going on along the I95 exit and the main road which made the exit hard to see as we sped by it. There were occasional loud crashes from the construction and other noises like the beep-beep of trucks in reverse. It also caused our eye hole on the door to film over. Plus there was a film of dust on our vehicle the next morning . That was the part I mentioned not being the hotel's fault. You know, come to think of it, after reading this I guess it is worth four stars, especially considering the red Roof we stayed at the next night.
