Awesome rest area has some shade bathrooms tables and some grass but the best part is... This awesome lowkey spot at the end of it right before you would get in the lane to go northbound. Before you would get back on the freeway carve a right and you'll see a little circle that it seems most people overlook it was a great place to take a quick nap and definitely hit the spot!

Two buildings here - one with restrooms, which includes family rest room, a map of the area & a list of NCDOT Employees who died performing their duties. The other building has 2 rows of vending machines. There are food snacks, candy, coffee, sodas, energy drinks and more. Both buildings are clean and well maintained. The grounds are also well maintained with picnic areas and benches. It was raining, so we didn't stay long on 10/11/25.

Well, Selma Mini Mart / Selma Hibachi, you impressed me. I'm a simple person, but I've eaten all over--from California to Texas--and your fusion is truly one of the best I've ever tasted. Your hospitality is just as memorable: personal, warm, and absolutely spot‑on. I recently placed an order for my wife's birthday, and everything was perfect. For a little backstory, I'd been traveling with co‑workers that month, and Japanese hibachi was the most requested food everywhere we went. I thought I had tried it all. I was wrong. Ordering from your restaurant was a complete and wonderful surprise. Thank you for delivering such incredible food and service. I look forward to many more visits.

Upon arrival, I thought they were closed bc there were no cars in the parking lot. I went inside when my nephew. I was greeted by staff behind the register. I was given a menu and took same time to review before I placed order at 1:29pm. I got the hibachi fries that come with chicken and steak. I also got Philly cheesesteak egg roll. I was told it would be 10 minutes. I walked around and got my nephew a little juice and it was $3! Wow. Too expensive. I received my food at 1:35pm. It was hot and fresh. I went to a nearby park to eat. No complaints with the fries as it was a lot of meet and very delicious. There was some type of sauce on top that wasn't bad. I likely wouldn't have gotten it had I been asked about it, without trying it, as I tend to error on the side of caution to avoid wasting money and food. The egg-roll on the other hand was lackluster and small. It definitely wasn't worth $4. I would return. Staff member was friendly and I want to try the regular hibachi plate. The store itself is somewhat lacking. I noticed there were many things empty on the shelves, such as the snacks. Options are limited. If you're looking for a convenience store, you may want to check somewhere else as they might not have what you need or what.

Addressing the Issue of Slow Fuel Pumps: A Comprehensive Review…read more Introduction: In today's fast-paced world, efficiency and speed are paramount, particularly when it comes to essential services such as refueling vehicles. However, recent experiences have highlighted a concerning issue - slow fuel pumps. In this comprehensive review, we delve into the nuances surrounding this phenomenon, while also acknowledging the commendable aspects of the store itself and its employees. Slow Fuel Pumps: A Cause for Concern: The cornerstone of any fuel station's operations lies in its ability to swiftly and efficiently dispense fuel to customers. Unfortunately, the emergence of sluggish fuel pumps undermines this fundamental expectation, leading to frustration and inconvenience for patrons. The ramifications of such delays extend beyond mere inconvenience, impacting productivity, scheduling, and overall customer satisfaction. Identifying Root Causes: To effectively address the issue of slow fuel pumps, it is imperative to delve into the underlying factors contributing to this phenomenon. Potential causes may include technical malfunctions, inadequate maintenance protocols, or inefficiencies in fuel delivery systems. Furthermore, fluctuations in demand and operational constraints can exacerbate the problem, necessitating a multifaceted approach to resolution. Impact on Customer Experience: The repercussions of slow fuel pumps extend far beyond the realm of operational inefficiency, significantly influencing the overall customer experience. Prolonged wait times not only test the patience of patrons but also diminish their perception of the service provider. Moreover, in an era characterized by rapid digitalization and instant gratification, any impediment to expeditious service delivery can tarnish the reputation of the establishment and deter repeat business. Acknowledging Excellence: Amidst the challenges posed by slow fuel pumps, it is essential to commend the commendable aspects of the store and its employees. Despite the prevailing issue, the professionalism and dedication exhibited by staff members remain unwavering. Their commitment to customer service and willingness to address concerns reflect positively on the establishment, serving as a beacon of excellence amidst adversity. Conclusion: In conclusion, the prevalence of slow fuel pumps poses a significant challenge to both fuel station operators and customers alike. By acknowledging the root causes of this issue and implementing targeted strategies for improvement, stakeholders can work collaboratively towards enhancing the efficiency and reliability of fuel dispensing services. Furthermore, it is imperative to recognize and appreciate the commendable efforts of store employees, whose unwavering dedication contributes to mitigating the impact of operational challenges. Through proactive measures and a commitment to excellence, the industry can navigate through these challenges and emerge stronger than ever before.

The next exit has a lot more friendlier places to stop.
