On a road trip and stopped just to use the bathroom. I was in and out but I can say that the place was clean and the staff was friendly/helpful for our short interactions. I loved that there was no door to get into the main bathroom. I personally feel like the less you touch the better. read more

What a difference a year makes. The employees were friendly, bathroom clean, and the food hot, fresh and on time. We popped in on a Sunday around 11 and while busy, still not much of a food crowd. I wanted to give this Sheetz a second chance and I'm glad I did. read more

The workers here seem as though they are victims of trafficking or Sheetz is a horrible place to work or they just hate being there. Just purchased a chili dog at Sheetz. The worst ever, small amount of chili, sliced onions, dab mustard. They used to have a generous amount of Chili, chopped onions a decent amount and mustard & a fresh bun. I grew up in next town where sheetz opened first store. The hot dogs used to be top notch, this one was not fit to serve to my dog. Come on Sheetz a little more chili and condiments is not going to break the bank. What happened, we were a chili hot dog family, what you are serving not does not even look like the hot dogs that everyone went to Sheetz to purchase when you first started in business? I really like Sheetz. The convenience part of their stations are newer, cleaner and contain a better verity of convenience items. But best of all are their pumps. I've never had a problem with a pump at a Sheetz station. There pumps are newer and kept in top condition. Down around the south that means a lot because of our bright harsh sunlight which has totally faded out the screens at a lot of gas station pumps. Sheetz stations are all cookie cutter made, which mean they are all alike so if you've seen one, you've seen them all. And like the others, the staff is polite and friendly. I wouldn't give you much for any of their food, but it isn't a restaurant. It's a convenience gasoline station so don't expect much with regards to food. read more

This is a cool gas station and offers just about anything you can imagine. We had never visited a sheetz before and were impressed.

On our way home bound & so excited to see a Sheetz! This is a pretty good sized location for multiple cars, to include an inside eating area. Employees were kind and everything was clean. Ordered the appetizer sampler for $5 and yum! To be gas station food, I would definitely come here more often if I lived by one. The mozzarella sticks were super cheesy, chicken bites were crispy but not too crispy, and the onion rings were fried wel to include the boom boom sauce - only sauce you really need! read more

The convenience store finds it appropriate to use all the Tesla supercharger spots to park trucks while unloading. When asked about it, very nonchalantly dismissed (where else can they park? - literally, anywhere else is the answer). Only one spot out of ten was available, and barely. Trucker even had the gall to suggest I moved the truck if I knew how to drive it. Avoid the place. read more

It took 20 minutes to get our food. Found out it was missing items. It took another 15 minutes to get those. The store was a mess. It looked like when they restock everything in the middle of the night. While waiting for my food, I watched a guy make all the beverages. He'd rinse the blenders, but they were never washed. You could see the dairy residue on them as he was using them. He also prepared drinks without gloves for awhile. Eventually he started wearing gloves. I assume because someone got on him about it. For me, this place is relatable to Quiktrip. It's like their version here in NC, but they have a different kitchen style. They serve other things and I was so happy with their potato slices with bacon, cheese and ranch. I ordered a vanilla caramel latte as well and it was amazing. Perfect sweetness for me. What a nasty, filthy place to stop! Stopped on Saturday AUG. 22, 2020 @ 1:30 PM for gas, food and restroom. The men's rooms was absolutely horrendous, worse than a 3rd world country! Between the trash all over the floors, stink, hand wash area and pissed up floors, so nasty. The food area where they work prepping food was beyond terrible, the employees seems so unconcerned. The order area by the pads, what a crap hole and this is in a time of COVID! We wouldn't by anything here, either from the cooler or grill area. Even the counter area for checkout was a jumbled, cluttered mess. If this app allowed 1/2 star this Sheetz would get it. Someone should be fired at worse or re-educated on how to be a manager at best. Disgusting disgusting disgusting especially for a tourist, high traffic and NC COVID restrictive time! The order was really disgusting. They charged me for a premiun sampler 7.99 and give me the regular one. When I tell her she said that I dont mark the premiun iteam. But they charged me for the premiun anyway. They mozarrella stick was raw, the sauce was any half of the container. They dont have small or medium cups for coffee just for make you buy the big one. We stopped by this Sheetz at 7 am on a Friday. The cold drinks were not well stocked, the coffee area was out of sugar and creamer, and only 1 self checkout kiosk was working properly. There were a decent number of employees working, but they were standing around talking to each other and had to be asked for help with restocking the coffee supplies and the kiosk. Will not stop here again. We'll give our business to Speedway across the street. read more

One of the great thing about being in the south is that they serve beer everywhere. I grew up in Pennsylvania where you get Sheetz great food but the inconvenience of no alcohol sales. So imagine my face when I seen a Sheetz in North Carolina. You put the best gas station food on the planet with a "Beer Cave" and you just created a real one stop shop. I used to really enjoy Sheetz MTO food. It was actually made-to-order instead of sitting there for hours. But then they got sloppy. I just finished a steak and cheese that was a sloppy mess. Too much lettuce, sauce, and other junk. It was just an unappetizing pile of stuff. The onion rings were good and the bathrooms are still pretty clean. But I'm over the MTO. read more

Oh how I love Sheetz!! Every sheetz has a little character to it. The excellent service I always get or the fresh made to order items on the always expanding menu...... I love being able to go to a one stop shop (with the exception of Walmart ) before class in the morning I usually fuel up grab a Specially made Sheetz infused RedBull Energy drink, and whatever breakfast item I am craving that morning. Would not recommend stopping here. Not practicing any type of safety precautions. I used the restroom and there were overflowing feminine hygiene products in the waste bucket. There were paper toilet seats spread out on the floor of the stall. When it came to picking up food, everyone was crowded in the food pick up area. Many customers did not have masks on. We always go to this SHEETZ. Travel an hour just to eat here at least once a month. Imagine my disappointment when we Stopped here today and this sandwich is what I got. More bread than chicken salad and all the onions and black olives are in one spot. It was disgusting. And my husbands sub was the same way all bread no filling. The coffee Creamer dispensers were empty and the entire place needed a good cleaning. I'm originally from PA and grew up on SHEETZ. I tell EVERYONE about SHEETZ. I honestly loooove SHEETZ but this place needs management to reevaluate. Relearn some pride in your store and logo. We will be back in a few days... Some of the staff is rude I am not sure of names but they act like you are doing something wrong when you refill your cup or when something beyond your control happens (like your sheet card not scanning at the gas pump and you have to go in.) 2. Restrooms nasty. Sheetz usually have clean stores and restrooms but this one need some attention. No soap in men's restroom and toilet overflowing. Yet, there's a sign on the door that a mask is required. This visit was during the Fourth of July weekend and there is still a pandemic going on. I will not stop here again. read more

When the Sheetz in Smithfield first opened it was a model establishment, since that it has been all downhill. The fueling isles are so dirty you have to wipe your feet before getting into your car, the trash cans are always overflowing and the trash and debris are everywhere. I used to love their coffee now you have to chew it because of the constant coffee grinds in the bottom of your cup. The food is inconsistent, sometimes overdone and dry and sometimes your not sure what it is. I think I would rather pay the three cents more somewhere else than to go to Sheetz any more. read more

The last three times I've visited they didn't have an item I ordered on their computer screens. So if you're going to order food, check to make sure they have it first so you don't have to go through a needless refund and/or pick something else.
