Very clean everything! From the bathrooms to the convenience store itself. This Shell station has a Subway restaurant inside, if you're into that sort of thing. Unfortunately, I don't like the rubbery smell of Subway bread, so I ducked in and out as quickly as I could. But if you're not me and you like Subway, you can get your foot longs here to go or dine inside at one of the tables they have at the little restaurant. This Shell Station was right off the highway so very convenient to get gas and back on your way. The convenience store was well stocked.

I've been here a few times every time I come here the restroom is closed. Now the last time I get it they were closing. But it's 9 PM. They don't close until 11 PM. Why is the restrooms closed for the night? We're right off the interstate. I need to go to the restroom. I've been traveling but now I've gotta hold it until I can find the next door, but it's just ridiculous. I believe it was the same girl from the last time and she's not friendly. She's not like mean or anything. She's just blunt about it. I guess is maybe the right words but your restroom should be open until you close especially you have a McDonald's in there you're selling food it makes no sense. Maybe they pick and choose who can go to the restroom. I don't know. I'm not from here but it's very disappointing to have to pee knowing that this place is open and you have to hold it it's so rude. Whatever happened to Southern hospitality I'm not asking for too much. I'm just asking to use your restroom when you're open. read more

Super clean bathrooms!! Never have I seen such a clean gas station bathroom at 11pm! Nice and very well lit, just off the 40. There is a subway attached but was closed when I arrived. Mainly a quick bathroom and gas stop so I didn't kind. The McD's across the steeet closed at 11. Also a Smithfield's nextdoor (also closed before 11) Nice place to stop on your way to/from Wilmington as there's not much else in between! read more
