Everything you would expect from a Hampton. Plus, the service was above expectations. Great place to stay!

This is the second time we've stayed at this Hampton. Their motel and staff are so nice. We got a suite and it was wonderful. The room was ready, very clean, and comfortable. The sofa was like new and firm, easy to sit and stand from. The kitchen area had an apartment sized refrigerator with freezer, not just a tiny dorm frig that hardly cools. The bedroom area has its own TV. King bed was comfy and linens clean and crisp. There were plenty of large, plush towels and washcloths. A different breakfast is offered each day and it's not just cheap store muffins and stale cereal. We had eggs and meat each morning, hot coffee, and waffles. This Hampton Inn is our go-to when in Springfield MO. read more

Room availability was limited for late night check-in but at least they had a room. Nice touch to have free water in the fridge. Room was very clean with plenty of towels and shower water pressure was excellent. Front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating. Recommend. read more

We were in town for a college tour. Hilton is our go-to when staying away from home. They did not offer Diamond member parking out front which was a little disappointing. The lobby is large and cozy and welcoming. The morning complimentary breakfast offers anything you could want to get your day started. We booked a king suite for the weekend. The room is spacious and accommodating. The sitting/dining area had all the comforts of home. The full size fridge microwave and sink helped make our stay more pleasant. The furniture was very uncomfortable. The love seat and chair were functional but not for long stretches of time. The bedroom was well appointed with a work area and large king sized bed. The linens were comfortable and clean. The bathroom offered a separate sink outside and then a toilet and shower. The water pressure was marginal and could benefit from a new shower head. read more

The decaffeinated coffee was muy deliciouso. There was an abundance of pillows in the room, so much so, that I wish I had a friend to pillow fight with. The TV had every station that I could ask for. But I only really watch the Game Show Network. I found a robe in the closet. I think it was left here by another guest and didn't come with the room. It smelled good, so I took it home. Thank you, kind traveler. I rate the Springfield, Missouri Hampton Inn & Suites five stars. read more

I had a good experience here. The staff on shift was very friendly and willing to accommodate any requests. The breakfast is good also. I would recommend. read more

I have stayed here a few times to get to the airport for early flights. It's always very comfortable, with great beds and pillows and quiet rooms. My only complaint was there was construction going on and a lot of the parking lot was blocked off so it was difficult to find a place to park. I was a little mad at another customer, with the shortage of parking spots some rude guy with NY plates decided to take up 6 spots with his 4X4 and long trailer. There were plenty of oversized spots in the back where RVs commercial trucks and other larger vehicles could park. This jerk decided to park right in front of the side doors, again taking sex spots. That's not the hotel's fault. I went up front to complain and the couple in front of me was already complaining about it. Otherwise, it was a good stay and I was very comfortable Once the parking lot is finished everything outside will be just fine. read more

Really like staying here. Elevator was down this time or 8t would have gotten a 5. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room spacious and clean. Breakfast was ok as far as complimentary goes. Pool and gym clean and well maintained. read more

Thin walls and dirty! The bed slept good but with all the banging around from kids upstairs or next door, sleep was few and far between! Took a bath, saw all of the grime and decided that was enough. They are having some construction but that won't change my mind about staying there again! read more

Pros: *Quick service and friendly atmosphere *Professional staff, Stephan was very accommodating and a good representative for the company *rooms were cleaned to perfection *pool area clean and actually take care of Cons: *not really a con due to building space, but it should be noted that there are no free weights in the fitness center read more

Hotel was nice, room was clean and smelled fresh. We got the 1 king suit with the the couch and chair. Really nice room. Breakfast was nice and items were replaced quickly and fresh. Here is why I only gave them 3 stars and it's not there fault but the area is not safe to park Your vehicles at. I always stay at places that let's us park my truck and trailer and low and behold it was broken into and items were stolen. I was parked right in front of my room non the less but no cameras were on that side? The area turned out to be the unsavory side of town I was later told. read more

New renovation in rooms...cold AC friendly front desk. Beds are comfy, great location in North Springfield area.

It had been quite awhile since I'd stayed at a Hampton... I don't remember them being associated with Hilton, since when did that happen? That was a pleasant surprise, especially since I could bank some of my Hilton reward points and they gave us free waters for being Hilton gold, or whatever that rewards program is called. The location is surrounded by hotels, between a Steak 'n Shake and Holiday Inn. The price is similar or comparable to the other hotels, but the others have hotel restaurants and the other ones have free shuttles available. Considering that the Uber ride to and from the airport was almost $25 each way, that lack of shuttle amenity should be taken into consideration. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The decor is slightly dated, but not overly worn. What I find super annoying though, is when we had a 3 night/2 person reservation, but the room was only stocked with one day's worth of toilet paper, soap, towels, etc. When I arrive to my room, the do not disturb sign immediately always goes up, and if there is a knock at my door during my stay, it's not welcomed. Yep, that happened. The shower temperature was the biggest disappointment. I literally kept it turned up to H maximum and it was only warm. I like my shower hottt though. The pool and jacuzzi are super clean. The lounge seating was comfortable and add to my relaxing experience. The best thing about my entire stay was the complimentary breakfast. The main items rotated, but the staples were yogurts, strawberries, cereals, waffles, etc. I've had a lot of complimentary breakfasts and this one is top notch, so were all of the attendants around the dining area. Complimentary apples and bananas is another speakable perk. read more

When we first entered our room we were very impressed. It was huge! unfortunately it was downhill from there. These are the lists of cons: 1. Liked the idea of digital check in and going straight to the room upon arrival. The app said we were checked in and the digital key was active. Got there, went up to the room on the 4th floor and it didn't work. We'd attended a funeral and been in a car for 10 hours so we just wanted to go to bed! Instead I had to go back downstairs, check in at the front desk and get the key card like usual. 2. we unload and go straight to bed. The bed was extremely firm - like sleeping on a board. Neither my husband or I got any sleep and we were exhausted! 3. The fold out sofa bed frame was broken. The bed was hard to pull out of the sofa and put back in because the frame was twisted and bent from left to right. Because of that the rest of the bars were buckled and hurt our son's back all night. 4. There were no sheets or pillow cases in the bedding pack for said sofa bed above. 5. In the morning, we ended up skipping showers because there was pink mildew lining the shower floor and the shower doors were covered in soap scum and mold. Didn't look to have been cleaned well in quite awhile. I'd give the place a 1 star if not for the sheer size of the room (Room 402) and the very nice desk space and kitchenette. Everything else was an epic fail which surprised us. We've always enjoyed staying at Hampton Inn. read more

Sometimes it feels like if you've stayed in one Hampton you've stayed in them all and that's mostly true. But this location had the friendliest most hospitable staff. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. These details make a big difference when you're on the road. Well done! read more

I loved this one as much as I loved the one in Rochester, NY! I went to Springfield to visit with a customer of ours and after my experience at the Hampton Inn in Rochester vs. the Sheraton Four Points, in Philadelphia, I made sure to get a room at the Hampton Inn here. I was rewarded with the usual awesome level of customer service and an even better room than ever! i attached images of the hotel and the room I was in to give you an idea of the sweetness of the room. The room had an almost full sized refrigerator, microwave with free popcorn, coffee and tea with coffee maker, TWO plasma TVs, a couch, a comfy chair, lap desk for my laptop, mirrored sliding door closet, a huge bed and plenty of room. i swear I was in a 1 bedroom apt! They offer FREE hot breakfast buffet, cereal, coffee, tea, bagels, sweets, waffle makers (with premade waffle mix) multiple juices and more! Warning, sometimes the eggs are kind of bland, but at THIS location you get the eggs mixed with meats depending on the day, the steak and eggs was WAYYYY yummy! They had a pool, jacuzzi, gym, patio to BBQ on and they also offer FREE toiletries! So if you forgot your razor, toothpaste, tooth brush and so an, never fear! Just ask the front desk and they shall provide for FREE! There is also a little "vanity kit" in the room with a nail file, qtips and cotton balls in it. The also have a business office where you can do work or print anything you need, also for FREE! There is also free wireless Internet in your room or wherever you decide to roam within the hotels borders! read more

Our 23rd anniversary so we splurged. Check in was a breeze and clerk was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. King size bed. Room overall is nice. Military discount. Hall smells though. read more

We stay in hotels A LOT and I'll admit: I'm looking for three things in a hotel: 1- CLEAN 2 - BREAKFAST 3 - CUSTOMER SERVICE The Hampton Inn and Suites is not fancy but it makes up for it in super-comfortable beds and really clean rooms. The front desk was great and made sure we got checked in fast. I made the reservation with our mobile app and didn't have any trouble with it at all. Awesome customer service. We had two queen rooms and they were, well, roomy and nice. Again, nothing fancy. Breakfast was fantastic. Great selection, super friendly staff. Morning people! :) My only complaint is that my room didn't have a refrigerator. Hopefully they'll remedy that in the near future for folks like me with cheese sticks that will not be so great tomorrow. :) We would definitely stay here again. read more

Never walk in and get a room even if you're a IHG rewards member you'll end up paying a high rate. Pay gar netter rates by booking thru online reservations. Walk ins only have the higher rate rooms "available". Nice hotel but do not get a room close to the water feature in the atrium in my room it sounded like a loud bathroom fan running all nite. Comfortable bed and clean room and the little bar was nice. read more

We wanted to have breakfast but no one was wearing masks. Of all of the guests I saw, only one wore a mask. Their website said masks are required but obviously no one is enforcing it. We did not feel safe so we left without eating. The reason we stayed here was because they advertised that they were safe. They lied. read more

The ownership is extremely RACIST and offensive....The OWNER told me I look like U smoke and was demanding to put me in a smoking room....How does someone look like they smoke?????I told her she was being offensive and she persisted.....I then decline and asked them to can cancel my reservation and that became an issue... read more

Great place! We were trying to drive straight through to our destination and just couldn't do it. Made a last minute stop here and what a nice clean & friendly place! Would highly recommend this hotel. Staff went above and beyond in all areas...plus clean so important read more

This was a nice place to stay for a few nights. The breakfast is always a nice touch, but what surprised me was it seemed like a member of the staff brought in their own crock pot of soup each night which they had out by the cookies. I would stay at this hotel again just for the cookies at night as well. read more

Pretty nice hotel and can't complain. Price was reasonable but my co-workers ended up with pricey ones (nicer king suite with kitchen) because it filled up fast. I worked out in the pool and also the fitness center. Breakfast was nice and had hot meal which was a plus. Right off major highway which was really convenient. Beds were comfortable and also good housekeeping staff. read more

Overall, I liked my stay. They have really nice breakfast options in the morning. The staff was friendly and nice. Checking out I had a little bit of an issue. I went down to ask about signing up for the rewards so I did and upon checking out, she actually put my stay on another person's reward account. This is right after she just signed me up for a new account. Not sure how that happened, but after calling it can take 4 weeks to correct so I am waiting on that.. read more

The billboard out front says it all: the friendliest hotel in Springfield. Great hotel for the business traveler or family looking for a safe, clean, and friendly place to stay. The staff were great and really went the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction. They even called me after I checked in to make sure everything was up to my standard. Room is what you'd expect from Hampton. Clean and simple. My room appeared to be recently renovated (the carpet was new). Bed was ultra comfy and allowed for a great nights sleep. Be careful driving in. There is a ton of foot traffic from the Steak and Shake next door. read more

If you like the feeling of a super comfortable, pillow top bed with fresh down-filled pillows, and a sparkly clean room this is a great place! Patrick at the front desk was super professional yet friendly. This was a great unplanned stop for us and we highly recommend. Thanks Hampton! read more

We were very happy with our stay for the cost. Clean rooms, wonderful breakfast and the friendliest staff that I've had at a hotel. I'd be happy to stay here on my next trip to Springfield read more

Staying here has been a pleasant experience. Friendly staff, clean room and good location. The bed is very comfy! The breakfast is great (we had cheesy eggs, hash browns and bacon. You can make waffles. There's oatmeal, cereal and fruit. And more). The only thing I didn't like is that when people let the door to their room close on its own, it's VERY loud! Otherwise very nice place to stay. read more

I am VERY picky about hotels and I must say... This hotel is spotless! Very close to the highway which is extremely convenient when traveling. There were warm, fresh cookies, popcorn and fruit infused water in the lobby upon entering. Also, fresh coffee with flavored creamers- so hard to find. The indoor pool is a great (almost warm) temperature - my family hates cold pools. Also, the jacuzzi/hot tub is very nice after 12 hours driving! Our room was spotlessly clean, updated, comfy beds and a great shower! The front desk even gave us a courtesy call to make sure we were enjoying our stay/if the room was up to standards. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars: 1. The bathroom sink would not drain and took 5-10 minutes to empty after teeth brushing/face washing, etc. 2. Outside our window was only a rooftop view with numerous roof exhaust fans/AC units that kept making loud noise and 3. There wasn't a fan in the bathroom to alleviate the steam (or help drown out the noise of the rooftop fans). read more

Excellent hotel, very nice, clean, super service! We were upgraded upon check-in (guess being a Diamond member does have some benefit). Room was in excellent condition. Without a question, this will be our hotel of choice the next time we stay in Springfield. Excellent! read more

Great hotel! Clean and nice. The pool are was nice. My only complaint/warning is that this location has the most paper thin walls,Windows & doors I have ever experienced! Fantastic stay at this property. Customer service was great. Everyone we dealt with at the front desk was friendly, polite, and extremely helpful. All requests were met without hesitation and with a smile. The property is extremely clean, and housekeeping went the extra mile by filling up ice bucket and leaving note asking for any special requests. Breakfast was very good (especially for hotel food) on Saturday and pretty good on Sunday. Will revisit this property again if we have another tournament in Springfield! read more

i think this hotel was just the best. we were in visiting friends and found the location, cleanliness, decor, comfort, and morning breakfast extremely welcoming. everyone we encountered, from the front desk, maids, and the hostessess at breakfast were all so friendly. we had a 2 room suite and the price was very affordable. read more

We stay here a couple times a year. It is awesome, great location, very clean, our favorite place to stay. They have everything you could possibly need or want in a hotel. The best free breakfast ever, so many choices!! What makes them stand out are the people. They really are the friendliest staff ever. They are always smiling, really always. We had car trouble, the lady who runs the kitchen sent us to a great local shop. We had to leave unexpectedly a couple years ago because of a death in the family. They comp'd the room, just because they care. read more

We often stay at Hampton Inns because they are clean and the rooms all have a refrigerator and microwave, which we rely on. So I made a reservation at this Hampton Inn for a king room and a big price of $154, expecting the same amenities we've had at other Hamptons for the last 12 years or so. No such luck, not in Springfield MO. No microwaves in any of the rooms except the really expensive king suites. Worse, they didn't even have a microwave they could bring to the room, and the breakfast area was locked up and the staff refused to unlock it for us to use a microwave for our evening meal. It's been a good fifteen years since we've stayed at a hotel anywhere that didn't offer a microwave in a room or a spare that they could bring to the room. The staff said they are planning an upgrade in the future, so in the meantime, run over to Target and buy a few microwaves to at least equal the service most hotels have had since the turn of the century. read more
