    Fitness center

I've stayed here a number of times for business purposes. It's a very simple hotel. The fitness center is equipped with free weights up to 50lbs and there are two benches, a cable machine, some treadmills, and an elliptical. It's very conveniently located to walk to Trader Joe's or Target for incidentals. I've also walked to Downtown Bellevue without any concerns. Downsides: -Can be quite loud if you lose the neighbor lottery (definitely can hear people running upstairs or the shower in an adjacent room). -Hilton Diamond benefits didn't really give me anything. I got the welcome text and asked about it and it was mentioned that I could get a snack, but the front desk did not see my diamond status attached to the room and didn't give me anything. I assume it's a system problem.

We really liked this hotel, we tend to stay at Hampton Inns. We reserved through a third party and wasn't told about paying for parking so that was disappointing because we have never paid for parking at Hampton in the past or on this trip and we stayed at 3 during our vacation.

Seems like a newer hotel. Much cleaner and updated than the other Hampton Inns Seattle. Amazing customer service. Free hot breakfast 6-10a weekdays. Room do not have bathtubs. Rooms are very big, super clean and nicer compared to other Hampton Inn. I love you cannot hear your neighbors door slam as loud as other locations. Cost was $279 on 6/19/24 which is more than other Hampton Inn but walking distances to downtown (.04 to space needle). Ask for a room with the view of the needle. Yes I would definitely return.

I'm just going to start of by saying PARKING SUCKS. They charge $30.00 a night for self serve parking. If you're not going to leave the hotel much go for it. If you're going to go in and out it sucks. I had a Ford f150 and could not find any type of parking. I tried going into the parking garage that is one way in and one way out. All the spots are compact so you'll have to take two spots like everyone else. Now to the hotel. All the staff up front were very nice and the lobby is very clean and nice inside too. My room was very clean and nice. I like how the TV has Netflix too. There is breakfast buffet every morning. I give the hotel a 4.5 star but the parking situation a 0/5 stars. I ended up parking on the street. I'd rather stay somewhere else next time due to the parking situation.

Updated May 2023 I returned to Seattle recently and decided to stay at this Hampton Inn, due to its great location in proximity to Amazon's campus while I was traveling on business. I was delighted too that the hotel upgraded my room to a very large king suite! Room 601 is at the endo of the hall (which I prefer) and had windows facing both South and East. The window facing South has an extraordinary. View of the Space Needle, which was very impressive, especially at night. My room was just wonderful, spotlessly clean, very nice bathroom, super comfortable king bed, sofa, large TV, work desk area, sink, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and wall mounted garment hanger. The only thing I noticed missing, was a full-length mirror and the bathroom amenities were missing (i.e., soap and shampoo/ conditioner), which was an easy fix at the front desk, just a detail that housekeeping really needs to be mindful of. Also, the tiny pillows, I reported in my 2017 review have apparently been replaced with standard sided pillows, which I was glad to find! The breakfast area has plenty of seating however the area where they offer food is often filled with guests and tends to be cramped to move around in the space. All the members of the front desk staff I encountered were very friendly and accommodating as I need to leave my roller bag at checkout to hold while I attended a business meeting, which was no problem for them to do and was easy to retrieve when I returned before heading to the airport with Uber. I defiantly would consider staying at this property the next time I have to make a business trip to Seattle for business or pleasure!

I had a 4-night stay at this hotel. The room was perfect. We had a one bedroom suite that included a sitting area, a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, sink, microwave, plates, cookware, and utensils. The bed was comfy and there was even a small balcony with a view of the Space Needle. I'd give the room a 10/10. The service is where this hotel severely lacks. Upon check in I had a great experience! The woman at the desk explained everything to me including breakfast times, gym times, how to get to the elevators, etc. She even provided me with the snack bag that Hilton members get. Her service was great, but beyond that I had nothing but difficulties. I had to make 2 separate reservations due to booking part of the reservation with points. On the third day I had to go downstairs to re-check into my room. The female at the desk barely spoke and handed me the key without any pleasantries. That same day we took the do no disturb sign off of the door to have housekeeping come to replace the towels. We left for about 2 hours, and came back to notice that our room had not been serviced. I saw the housekeeping cart past our room so I knocked on the door and went in to ask if she would come back to our room. The housekeeper seemed not to speak English and told me to call the front desk. I did, and the front desk said they would make sure we got our room serviced. While we were packing up to go back out the housekeeper burst into the door, no knock, no warning, nothing. I'm sure their policy is to knock and announce yourself but she seemed disappointed that she had to do her job that day so she decided to burst in. Lastly, I went downstairs to inquire about a late checkout. I stood at the desk for 3 minutes in front of the clerk unacknowledged. She was clicking around on the computer When she finally did say something she asked, do I have a question. Of course not, I'm just standing here for no reason staring at you... Service 2/10.. definitely trash.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hampton Inn in "downtown" Seattle. It's not exactly in the heart of downtown but its proximity to the Seattle Center and grocery store makes it a perfect spot during your stay in the city. Our room came with two queen beds even though we had originally booked a king size bedroom. The room was very clean and spacious, with plugs literally everywhere for you to charge your items. Our room came with a mini fridge as well as a microwave which was a huge perk. Bathrooms were spacious although I'm not a huge fan of showers with drapes - water can seep through and get on the bathroom floor. There is also an ice machine on each floor. Given that the building is only four floors tall, we never had to wait long for the elevators so it was quick to get in and out of our rooms to the exits. The gym and dining room are both on the first floor which makes it really convenient to stop on through before you get started with your day. As of November 2021, their breakfast buffet on the first floor is back and is all self-serve. They provide boxes as well if you wanted to take food back to your room. They offered a good variety of hot and cold items and there were even some vegan friendly options, such as oatmeal, fruit, and the occasional potatoes. Its location near the Seattle Center is again VERY convenient, even if you just want to do an evening stroll through after dinner. We loved being able to see the Space Needle outside the hotel (but not in our rooms sadly) and always knew there was an area where we could safely go for a walk. We'd definitely stay at the Hampton Inn once more for a really affordable and great hotel experience.

Than watched them check in couple after couple. 2.5 hours later we got our early check in. A whole 15 minutes early. This was after it supposedly took them 45 minutes to clean the room. Now on to the room. The room was modestly sized with furniture shoved into every available space. The floors are plastic and cold. TV lost connection no less than 5 times forcing us to miss a few minutes of the show to reboot it. The best part was the bed. Very comfy bed. The comforters they provide are not designed for tall people though. The bathroom was not great. The shower is small with a temp control that sticks causing jumps in water temp. From luke warm to scalding quickly. For men beware the toilet. The water level is so high if you have to sit down to potty you will need to squat or parts might find themselves taking a swim in murky waters if you know what i mean. I would have normally told the staff all of this but the icy frosting on this stay was check out where the staff gave no greeting, didn't ask how the stay was or even express any positive sentiment towards us. In a city full of places to stay don't be fooled by there advertised low price. You end up with a low price experience for a high price in your check book.

He wasn't phased. He had the personality to a wet sock. The manager was running in and out behind the counter. Nothing was happening or being communicated to me. Finally, after a very long wait we were given keys to our room. I asked about any type of breakfast or happy hour. They don't offer any of that. The room has no little refrigerator other than a cooler drawer filled with outrageously priced snacks and alcohol. Good thing we didn't have medications that needed refrigeration. There's no microwave. There's no condiments for coffee or tea. There's a Nespresso maker for those people who enjoy Nespresso. I'm not one who particularly enjoys Nespresso. There were no pods anywhere. I asked for some at the front desk and I was told that it's hidden in the room somewhere. It's Christmas not Easter and I'm not going to play hide and seek for the crappy coffee. The furnishings were modern and cold. The lack of the little niceties that are standard everywhere else aren't here. The least they could have done was provide quality customer service and not by someone who seems like they would be better off employed in a funeral home. Pros, view and location Cons, pretty much everything else.

When we came back and our room was ready, my husband did call down and mentioned it was our anniversary since they had confirmed in previously but we didn't see anything in the room, and they were very kind to bring up a little treat for us including some delicious chocolate covered strawberries. The room itself was spacious and clean with a great view of the city (we had a corner view). The towels were large and fluffy and overall ambience was relaxing with a couch in the room. Check out was smooth and they had our bill ready and everything was easy/correct so we did not have to worry. We also did have late check out, which was pleasant as we could have a leisurely morning. We did try the restaurant (All Water) both for dinner and brunch the next day. Service was very slow unfortunately for the restaurant (it took 1.5 hours while the restaurant wasn't busy, and they did forget our side of grilled broccolini until after we finished our meals/reminded them). We tried the tuna hamachi crudo, clams and mussels, roasted hen of the woods and grilled broccolini. The tuna hamachi crudo was good, though I was hoping for more brightness in the flavor. I enjoyed the clams and mussels as well as the roasted hen of the woods overall, but felt the grilled broccolini was a little too dry (seemed grilled without any oil or seasoning). We did also try a few seasonal mocktails which were delicious and the highlight of the meal. Brunch the next day was take out and we went with a steak and eggs and a caesar salad. Both were solid, but note that the caesar salad came with actual little sardines, so for those picky eaters, this may be a bit much.

The provided shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion worked well and had a nice light citrusy scent. There was a Keurig machine in the room; not my jam but helpful in a pinch. The 7th floor has a nice little seating area outside the bar where I was able to get some quiet work done one weekday, and the outdoor terrace offers a mountain view on clear days. The fitness center is small: just two treadmills, one recumbent bike, an elliptical, a peloton, and many dumbbells, but I had no problem getting a treadmill run in each morning before 9 am. Water bottle fillers on floors 1 and 4 were super convenient, too. The valet parking is very convenient but pricy. The temperature controls worked great, the bed was very comfortable and had an adequate number of pillows, the bathroom was well-appointed, and everything was very clean. The bath towels were large, soft, and plush. The frosted door to the water closet was a nice touch for the sake of privacy if you were sharing the space with someone. The shower was not huge but it was more than adequately spacious for me. There were 2 robes hung in the bathroom (though I didn't use them). The small table and chairs near the window were convenient and comfortable to work from. The view from my room was very nice, especially during clear days when you can see the water and the mountains in the distance. The room was always well maintained after the typical morning cleaning as well as during turn down service. I appreciated the staff placing slippers by the bed and how they always nicely arranged my toiletries in the bathroom, replaced used towels with fresh ones, and even placed things on the table in the bedroom (like my charger, earbud case, eyeglass case, and so on) neatly for when I returned. The bar area at the back of the restaurant was a nice little area and had a table large enough for our group of around 8-10 to comfortably sit at while enjoying a nightcap. My breakfast the day I checked out was also high quality and my server Nathan was pleasant, timely, and honest about prep time of some items I wanted to order but was constricted due to a time crunch.
