Hamilton Ford - Car Dealers Near Me - Clovis, New Mexico

Everything OK,Good very helpful ,Looking for a vehichele go to Hamilton Ford in Clovis NM they will treat you right

gary hamilton and ford are a bunch of liars and they breach warranties. I paid over $60 thousand for my Ford F150. I took my Ford F150 in under warranty to get an misfire repaired. Rick in service lied to me and told me that it was bad gas. DUH the problem did not go away Then I talked to gary himself and he is also an liar, an thief and he breached my warranty also. He runs a shady business. Don't go to these people but go to Amarillo or Lubbock to buy your next Ford. The hamilton ford only has 2.5 out of 5 stars. read more

The service department is the least professional I've ever dealt with at any dealership. Brought my truck in for an AC issue and paid $800 to fix it just for it to be broke again in a month. Brought it back back and two other parts are broke now it has been almost a month I had to call them to be told they found what was wrong. Said it would be ready at the latest on a Monday called that Monday got hung up on called back and was told late Tuesday and that it would be $1800. read more

Took my car in for an oil change, once I received my car there was a dent on the passenger side door. When I called the service dept to check the cameras, they ensured me they would look at the footage and give me a call back. Well I never got a call back after that. My car is washed every week and garage kept, plus I always overlook it whenever I park or go places so I know for a fact that dent came from there. read more

Useful but they are slow, don't get back to you, give you overpriced options. Then again out here there is really not much of an option unless you can tow elsewhere or know people out here. Nice enough people but I have seen poor customer service and just laziness. Some of the auto mechanics seem knowledgeable but it's wasted at this place. read more

i bought a pre owned ford from hamilton still under warranty and since i drove it off the lot it has done nothing but break they had me in a loaner for a couple of months i ended up running into a deer with it and the manager was upset with me bc insurance wasn't gonna pay out right away and in his own words "now i have to wait for my money because of you" he then proceeded to tell me he feels he shouldn't give me my licenses plates to the vehicle i purchased when i got it back and the temporary tags were expired now the cars in the shop again going on month 3 their very unprofessional i have heard nothing about my car the whole time it's been i've been calling and just get told the manager will call me back i don't recommend this dealership its much better to go out of town and buy a vehicle read more

I am not overall unsatisfied but I would keep looking for a different dealership if you are purchasing a vehicle. The selection of trucks is slim and I ended up driving 4 hours to get to their dealership after placing a deposit on a vehicle to hold. I told the salesmen I was interested in two trucks but wanted to at least have a deposit on one. When I arrived the vehicle I placed a deposit on wasn't ready. It was FILTHY. This was done intentionally because they wanted me to buy the other truck. That truck was fresh out of detail and ready to roll. The truck I placed a deposit on had a flat tire that was 30 plus PSI low. The salesmen had the idiocracy to tell me it was just a low tire due to temperature. I am an ASE master technician with 15 plus years in the auto game. I know when a tire has a hole in it. My salesmen had zero knowledge about the trucks (which were the same model). and couldn't answer basic questions like the differences in suspension between the two options. Fast forward an hour or so, I ended up choosing the second truck because it was overall a better vehicle. However, if you spend $90,000 on a truck and its missing the floor mats, a center cap, and a second key, you would be upset. They ended up making things right which i greatly appreciate. I now have to pay the dealership or a locksmith $300 to get the key they sent cut and programmed. It was that or drive another 4 hours each way. I don't see why they couldn't contact the local ford dealer in my city and have it done? It took over a month to get my license plate. I was contacted by someone asking for my insurance information which I had sent over to my salesmen a week or so prior to being asked for it again. To the credit of my salesmen, He was transitioning to a new dealership and was finishing up the loose ends at the same time. I would recommend you be very mindful of what you are purchasing in all cases because during the emotional state of excitement for buying a new vehicle, you tend to not pay attention to detail and end up driving off missing equipment. read more

While traveling through Clovis on vacation, we had truck trouble. Darrick Shaw was our phenomenal service advisor. He got our truck in the shop and repaired in less than 3 hours. They shuttled us to and from a restaurant. Everyone we encountered in the service department was pleasant. There is not one negative about our visit. They made a really sucky situation bearable. Thank you Hamilton Service Department for a job well done. read more

We had a pick up in our possession switching out our personal items and the sales person called and said it had been sold and would we bring it back the 30 miles to the dealership. We had an appointment to sign papers within 2 hours. The sales person lIed to us. We have never been happy with the service at Hamilton and now we definitely will never do business with them for sales or service and will tell everyone we know of our experiences with them. If they made more money from the other sale they should have thought about the number of future customers they could have had from gaining our loyalty. read more

There are a lot of great reviews for this dealership, unfortunately we did not have a good experience with them and would caution anyone who is buying from out of state against using them. This is a long review, but the short of it is that they sold a car we were driving 7 hours down to pick up while we were on the road to them and had already confirmed with them they took it off the lot, figured out financing, etc. We both took a day off of work to drive down, rented a car, and did everything they recommended (and all within half a day) as far as financing, registration, etc. I guess another salesperson at their other dealership sold it sometime between when our sales guy stopped working on it at 9pm and he got back in at 7am. And now the long version: We have been looking for months for a specific car (Mercedes Sprinter) and finally found one at this dealership in our price range and in great shape. The sales person we worked with was very friendly and helpful, we won't name him here as we don't want to affect his business but suffice it to say he seemed like a genuine guy. So our issue is that we agreed on a price, financing, had them take the car off the lot, and were told to come down to pick it up the next day. We planned our 7- hour road trip from Denver to this tiny town and even rented a car to drop off in Roswell and drive the new car back. The next day, 2 hours into our roadtrip, in our rental car that costs $150/day because we booked it the night before, we get a text from our sales rep that there's an issue. Long story short, 3 hours later it's confirmed that another sales rep at a different dealership somehow overrode our purchase order. Apparently the owners and managers all met to discuss what to do and we did not get the car. We have emails and phone calls confirming it is our car and did everything they asked of us and very promptly. I have no idea how something like this happens, and our sales rep said he's never seen anything like it in 28 years. I guess our mistake was taking their word that the car was ours. We have wasted an entire day that we took off of work and cancelled our fun weekend plans to drive down and pick up this car. I cannot express how frustrating and powerless we have felt through this, we did everything they asked of us. I would not recommend this dealership at all. If they tell you they'll hold a car for you, do not trust it. What they did was unprofessional, untrustworthy, and just greatly disappointing on a personal level. We will also be reporting them to the BBB. read more

Ryan Harris and Max Martin were outstanding. Fantastic experience and the attention to customer service was second to none! I purchased from out of state and the process could not have been easier. Ryan and Max worked hard to get me the vehicle I was wanting when the demand for these trucks are so high and the supply so low. Thank you for the hard work. It is appreciated. read more

I purchased a used Ford Flex about 2 weeks ago, during test drives and looking around the vehicle I noticed that all 4 tires needed replaced as they were worn down to the wear bars on the tires. I told the salesman that the tires were worn out and needed replacement and was told that the tires were scheduled for replacement, the day we purchased and picked up the vehicle it was pouring rain and we were unable to do a proper walk around before signing paperwork to make sure the tires were replaced. One day after purchasing the vehicle I looked to make sure the tires were replaced like I was told they would be and they were not! I contacted our salesman since they like to say during the entire purchase process that "Customer satisfaction after the sale is a priority to us" that the tires were never replaced like we were told they would be. He contacted his management and they told us that there was nothing that could be done since the tire replacement was not in the purchase agreement and it was "our problem now". I had the tires replaced today with used ones because after farther inspection all 4 of the tires were worn to the point of steel belts showing and were on the verge of blowing out...contacted the dealership yet again and was told that if we send them 3 customers that actually purchase vehicles from them they would pay for my new tires! I will never refer anybody to this dealership since they sold me a vehicle with tires that were worn out and needed replacement, they put the lives of my wife, child, myself and other motorists in grave danger with the possibility of blowing out 1 to 4 of these tires since they were all showing steel belting. This dealership needs to be held accountable for these types of things and this is only my first stop in making complaints about this incident!!! I will be finding other more official routes to get this resolved if this place cannot make this epic screw up on their part right in the immediate future!!! Final thoughts...avoid Hamilton Ford like the plague if you don't end up getting screwed during the purchase the mess you will be left with after the sale will screw you!!! read more
