Tammy Keith is truly the best! I cant thank her enough for helping me get into a new red Trailblazer. She had so much patience with me and my frustrations coming from other dealers. Im happy I chose Tammy to work with, you will be too! Trust me! Kelly was awesome too! Whole experience was great! read more

Switch dealers entirely because of the service department. Overall poor experiences whenever we took our truck here. The person that would check us in always seemed so bothered that we were bringing out vehicle in for service and wasn't willing to answer any questions. Oil changes would take 4 to 5 hours and if you came in for anything else, you might as well prepare to take a courtesy shuttle. read more

(Apparently Google reviews is not to be trusted for if you want total honesty as every time I try to review it quickly gets deleted. I've met several people who've had similar experiences with Hamilton Chevrolet so it bothers me that they get away with such good, probably fake reviews on Google. Their 2.3 score on yelp seems much more accurate.) I purchased a vehicle from Hamilton Chevrolet largely because I was told it came with warranty coverage for engine and transmission issues up to 100,000 miles. Having that warranty was one of the main reasons I agreed to buy the car. The first time I experienced engine problems, the dealership performing the repairs informed me that the warranty apparently only applied to the original owner and was not actually valid for me as a secondary owner. That was the first time I learned there was a serious issue with the warranty I had been relying on when I bought the vehicle. Despite being told the warranty did not actually apply to me, Hamilton Chevrolet still paid for the repairs at that time because they were honoring the warranty they had sold me with the vehicle. When I later experienced additional engine problems, instead of standing behind what they sold me, I dealt with ignored phone calls, conflicting explanations, and a complete lack of communication. To make matters worse, I later discovered the vehicle had previously received an engine replacement before I purchased it, something that was never disclosed to me when I specifically asked about the car's history and possible issues before buying it. The entire experience left me feeling completely misled and cheated out of thousands of dollars. I purchased this vehicle believing I had warranty protection for major engine problems, only to later learn the warranty apparently was never valid for me in the first place because I was not the original owner. When I went in to talk to them in person since they would not return my phone calls, with the bill from my repairs, they were more angry about my review than they were concerned about righting their wrong. The manager barely glanced at my warranty paperwork and said "Oh, that's expired". Even though my paperwork clearly states that it was still valid, if he had cared to read it. But yes, the warranty was expired because they sold me an expired warranty. I've since met numerous people who have had very similar experiences with Hamilton Chevrolet. Though the reviews would fool people into believing this place was on the up and up......just like they fooled me into trusting Hamilton Chevrolet in the first place. read more

Had great experiences for years with these guys until now. As of the last 5 business days I've been calling daily to get ahold of a service shop rep, and nobody will get ahold of me to schedule. They keep telling me they're giving Keith my message to get ahold of me, but no Keith is ever calling. I'm not going to sit here and beg you guys to take my money and provide service, you may be close to home but I'd rather drive miles away to a different dealership and receive actual customer service. Sad, they used to be so good; giving 2 star due to previous great experience for 4-5 years, but this is terrible, anyone looking today should go somewhere else and save yourself the headache of trying to get on their radar/appointment scheduled. read more

Well this is my second review. I came in the get a recall done. They said they couldn't do it because there torches wasnt working and they didn't want to use the hammer because their were other parts loose. Oh, i said oh what parts are loose and wouldn't tell me. Now I know they lied because someone looked at it today and there are no loose parts. I sat in the waiting room for about 3 hours and they did nothing. Then they lied to me. SMDH. I will tell everyone I know not to go to Hamilton! read more

I would go anywhere but Hamilton for service. They had my part for 3 weeks and no one called. The only reason I know is because I reached out to GM directly and was informed. I let them know of my dissatisfaction with this but only got excuses and told that rather than a bad survey they would refuse service and return the part. Plenty of options so definitely will be going elsewhere and contacting GM directly to voice my concerns. read more

I have my trucks serviced at Hamilton. Their prices are competitive for the area and the staff is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. From Donna setting up appointments, to Mike writing up service, Robert performing work and Jennifer cashing you out. All staff is great. That's why I keep coming back. I highly recommend. read more

They were quick. Fixed my bumper looks like nothing happened. Always have had good luck. Nice people

Hamilton Chevrolet - Dealer ship - Car Dealers Near Me - Warren, Michigan

i took my car here for a collision damage repair. Overall experience, it's horrible and a disaster. It took them about 2 month to fix my car because every time i went to pick up the car, it came back with a different problem, or the problem remained the same. 1) Repair guy gave fabricated statements to cover their mess up multiple times. 2) a damage in the fender while in the care of the dealership. 3) Car continuing to drift to the left after multiple attempt to fix the alignment (this was easily fixed by a different collision shop with a new alignment). Dealership did not reimburse the alignment cost. 4) Wheel bearings on 3 sides were damaged, but they replaced 1 Wheel bearing at a time. So i had to make another visit to get another one fixed. And make another visit to fix the last one. 5) Inconsistent gap between the fender, and headlight. Hood and front bumper inconsistent gap. Inconsistent gap between A pillar and hood. 6) They replaced my factory lug nuts with some non factory lug nuts (or they damaged my factory lug nuts). 7) Every time i picked up the car, interior door, seat and steering were filthy with grease. 8) Both front wheels half way CAME OFF while they were pulling in the car to the pick up area. They ended up replacing both wheels and Wheel bearings, again. After multiple visits, most of the problems were fixed, and some are still there because i'm sick of taking my car here anymore. read more

4/20/2022 Please stay away from this dealership. They are very rude, unprofessional and they lied to me about work that needed to be done to my truck. Not only did they keep my truck for weeks without even looking at it. They charged me for an estimate and then told me that it would be 3k to fix everything with my vehicle. I ended up picking my vehicle up from their dealership because they didn't have a eta when it will be done and I got a second opinion. The second opinion i received from another auto shop informed me that the work that needed to be done would only cost $400 and not $3,000 like Hamilton Chevrolet told me. I advise everyone to avoid this dealership. Tim in the service department blatantly lied in my face repeatedly and never apologized. They don't care about their customers and they definitely will overcharge you for work you don't need done. 4/21/22 So i got my car back this morning with no issues. Thank god! The auto shop was able to fix my car in two days. This is what Hamilton Chevrolet was trying to charge me 3k to fix as well as not giving me a eta when it would be done. A freaking wire!!! Check out the tore wire, doesn't it look like it was cut intentionally or is it just me? You never know with these places. Make sure y'all get more than one opinion and don't just go with what the first person tell you. And please AVOID HAMILTON CHEVROLET ON 14 & MOUND! read more

Do not buy or lease from this dealership. What was supposed to be a simple 30min oil change turned into a 4 hour multiple vehicle issues once completed. Somehow they put 13 miles on the odometer for an oil change, and I had about 5 warning lights after leaving. They didn't say a word, but upon return a service guy said oil may have dumped in a piston. No explanation that makes sense for ABS / Steering / engine light errors. No offer to compensate their incompetent service department and my time. This place has no idea what they are doing, go to any other dealership. RJ read more

I live in Farmington Hills and I pass many Chevrolet Dealers to do business with Hamilton Chevrolet. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Debbie English as my latest sales rep. Terrible customer service... My car has been at this shop for 4 weeks and my service advisor Matt will not return my phone calls.

Horrible horrible customer service in the service department!! I called to speak with a manager 4days ago and still haven't received a return call. I took my car to be checked out and told them I was told it was the alternator. They said it was my battery and charged me $85. Two days later my check engine light came on. When I called the service assistant Kevin talked over me and when I asked for a manager I was hung up on. Also I have an extended warranty and bought my car in February 2017. How did my battery go out in a year?? read more

Went used car searching. Our sales guy, Greg, was nice, informative, gave us our space to talk, and was not pushy. We drove a few cars and found out what we liked and didn't in each car. We didn't buy anything, as our search continues. We previously stopped here when used car searching last year. The salesperson (can't remember who) was nice and not pushy. We test drove a few things, but went in a different direction and purchased a car elsewhere. read more

The service at this dealership is beyond awful! The first time I went to Hamilton for service it took them nearly 3 hours to change my oil! The 2nd time I had an issue with my trunk not closing properly. The service rep recommended that I crack my window open prior to closing so it would close without slamming. When I said that fix was unacceptable, they tweaked my trunk closers so the trunk slams every time I close it. My third experience involved a radio fix that I was told would take 90 minutes. I dropped off my car at 6:20 in the morning and when I went to pick it up at 3:30 they hadn't even touched it!! I'm beyond done with this place! read more

The worst ever they had my C-7 Corvette for 2 months for a simple repair, I received my estimate from my adjuster it's only 41 hrs of labor the most called the General Manager 3 times no response back only when I post on Google did I get an reply back...an to top that off my radiator fan is now running when it should not be. Terrible customer service them said they couldn't do anything to compensate me for my inconvenience but wave my $250.00 deductible after missing the whole summer 2 notes paid without car and oh yeah lease up in 2 wks. They blame General Motors said it was not there fault which is true, its the Dealership responsiblity for service at there auto shop. read more

I purchased my new truck from them in March of 2018, I brought it in for my first free oil change and tire rotation, only to find huge oils spots on my driveway 2 days later, I had to have it towed in so they could fix it. I lost a day of work because they would not deliver it when work was done. When the repair was finished, they half assed cleaned off the oil under the truck on the pan and frame but the "new" oil filter had oil dripping off it. I also told the service manager that I didn't think that they rotated my tires, there was dust on the lug nuts the first time I took it in. he had no answer for that. I've made many calls to the dealership manager with no call back. I just get emails that state this is not normal practice and to please call them, but nobody calls me back. Its been three weeks. I won't be taking it in for my next free oil change. read more

After a so-so experience at Mike Savoie, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I found myself at 14 and Mound at Hamilton Chevrolet. Now thus far I have YET to have a bad experience although my mom had an "interesting" experience. I had to take my car in for some routine maintenance and dealt with Terry Williams. He explained to me everything that needed to be fixed and how much it would cost. He was very adamant on keeping the lines of communication open and told me that when I came to pick up my car it was important that he was there so we could meet in person. Now that is enhanced customer service. The prices weren't outrageous and the car came back good as new. Because I am me and not my mother, I will leave it to her to yelp about her experiences. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who owns a Chevy-- even if you didn't buy it from here, you may want to get your car serviced here due to the personal commitment of it's sales staff. read more

UNBELIEVABLE. We had our Impala in for an oil change. I asked if the fluids would be topped off, brakes checked, etc., Because we are leaving for Florida in a few days, I stated that we were concerned about everything being checked out. I was assured that everything would be checked. We broke down in Georgia. The battery was completely dead. The corrosion on the battery was unbelievable. Having faith in Hamilton Chevrolet, I never checked their work. What a huge mistake that was. It has been over a week, and I have no response to their survey I took. We are extremely disappointed. read more

My mother took her new pre-owned vehicle there to have it detailed. Left it there all day. Went to pick it up and it was just as dirty as it was when she dropped it off. The following day I took it upon myself to spend a few hours detailing it and when I cleaned the interior windows, I found that even the windows hadn't been cleaned at the dealership. They did NOTHING. The assistant service manager was very nice and accommodating and refunded her money, but the fact that this happened is very frustrating. read more

Just leased a new blazer from Hamilton Chevy. My salesman was unaware that the vehicle had scratches and acid rain marks on every panel of the car hood to trunk. When I went to pick the car up the weather was bad so I didn't go inspect it like I should have . They were nice enough to take the car back in and try to buff all the scratches and damages out, but of course it's all still there for me to look at for the next 3 years of my lease. Paying $490 a month If you plan on getting a new car from Hamilton Chevy I would make sure to look it over with a fine tooth comb unless you like your new car to have a bunch of scratches. Once you sign it's yours. I have never seen such poor customer service. The manager Andrew who had me come in during his lunch break to address the issue, had everyone else in the dealership try and help me hoping I'd leave rather than helping me like he should have. Then he recommended I leave the car over the weekend when they were closed and no one would even be there to work on it. If your able to afford it go with GMC or Cadillac maybe they have better service when you pay more money a month?‍ read more

Body shop manager is helpful friendly ect. However, His crew left tools in my car after a repair, were rude and they fixed something for me that has since broken again in less than a year. Less than three years after buying the car NEW from another Chevy dealer. When you walk in, expect to stand around and have to ask for help, direction, ect and then when you get directed somewhere, to have to ask for more help. Heck, expect that you might have to put on some gloves, a mechanics suit and safety glasses and get under your car to fix it yourself. read more

Alex has been beyond amazing with helping me get set up on my lease for my 2021 blazer, amazing customer service all around!

Purchased a 2014 Chevy Cruze I was blown away that $200 was charged for 7 minutes of plastic along the side of the car. I didn't even want to take the car home. After going back in to talk with my salesman and financier; I was assured they would "make it right". When "pin striping" is offered, PAINT striping should be the only kind offered. Paint is TRUE pin striping, not cheap tape that can be purchased at any auto parts store. It was all made right within a few days and I am now satisfied with my experience. read more

Is the worst service that you can imagine, even the people in the desk are useless, rude and don't care at all, no even one star.

Jack is so great to deal with, he has taken care of me when my Saturn got all the recalls and also now the new issues. I called ahead they gave me a loaner while they have my car, they have done this every time for me. I normally don't trust dealerships but I trust them. I even brought my moms dodge to get fixed here. It was funny 16 spark plugs to be changed I know the boys had a good laugh with a dodge at a Chevy dealer and 16 spark plugs. I will never go anywhere else to get my car fixed. I can't speak to the sales side as I have not had any experience interacting with them yet. I did not buy my Saturn from this dealership. read more

We had an amazing experience with Greg Kansier. He is so helpful, not pushy or high pressure. My daughter car was totaled in an accident so she was on a quest looking for a used car. After driving a few cars, she found one that she loves! The financing guy name is Jim, he was just as personable and nice as Greg. He made the finance part easy and stress free for her being her first time buying a car on her own. I've dealt with many dealerships over the years and never had such a pleasurable experience! We will definitely be buying all of our cars from Hamilton Chevrolet! read more
