Switch dealers entirely because of the service department. Overall poor experiences whenever we took our truck here. The person that would check us in always seemed so bothered that we were bringing out vehicle in for service and wasn't willing to answer any questions. Oil changes would take 4 to 5 hours and if you came in for anything else, you might as well prepare to take a courtesy shuttle. read more

I let them know of my dissatisfaction with this but only got excuses and told that rather than a bad survey they would refuse service and return the part. Had great experiences for years with these guys until now. As of the last 5 business days I've been calling daily to get ahold of a service shop rep, and nobody will get ahold of me to schedule. They keep telling me they're giving Keith my message to get ahold of me, but no Keith is ever calling. I'm not going to sit here and beg you guys to take my money and provide service, you may be close to home but I'd rather drive miles away to a different dealership and receive actual customer service. I wish i could put no stars i purchased a 2014 Malibu from them 8-4-23 immediately after purchasing the vehicle driving off the lot i realise that there was no air blowing out of the vents called my sales rep back by the name of Anissa who was AWESOME By the way told me bring the car back and they will take care of it Now here comes the BS!!! Brought the car back took a week to find out what was wrong with it Kevin the service manager told me he had to order parts and one of my parts is on backorder by this time it's 8-16-23 still waiting on parts not to mention I HAVE TO CALL and get UPDATES MYSELF BECAUSE NO ONE IS KEEPING ME UPDATED! i took my car here for a collision damage repair. Overall experience, it's horrible and a disaster. It took them about 2 month to fix my car because every time i went to pick up the car, it came back with a different problem, or the problem remained the same. 1) Repair guy gave fabricated statements to cover their mess up multiple times. 2) a damage in the fender while in the care of the dealership. 3) Car continuing to drift to the left after multiple attempt to fix the alignment (this was easily fixed by a different collision shop with a new alignment). Dealership did not reimburse the alignment cost. 4) Wheel bearings on 3 sides were damaged, but they replaced 1 Wheel bearing at a time. So i had to make another visit to get another one fixed. And make another visit to fix the last one. 5) Inconsistent gap between the fender, and headlight. Hood and front bumper inconsistent gap. Inconsistent gap between A pillar and hood. 6) They replaced my factory lug nuts with some non factory lug nuts (or they damaged my factory lug nuts). 7) Every time i picked up the car, interior door, seat and steering were filthy with grease. 8) Both front wheels half way CAME OFF while they were pulling in the car to the pick up area. They ended up replacing both wheels and Wheel bearings, again. After multiple visits, most of the problems were fixed, and some are still there because i'm sick of taking my car here anymore. read more

4/20/2022 Please stay away from this dealership. They are very rude, unprofessional and they lied to me about work that needed to be done to my truck. Not only did they keep my truck for weeks without even looking at it. They charged me for an estimate and then told me that it would be 3k to fix everything with my vehicle. I ended up picking my vehicle up from their dealership because they didn't have a eta when it will be done and I got a second opinion. The second opinion i received from another auto shop informed me that the work that needed to be done would only cost $400 and not $3,000 like Hamilton Chevrolet told me. I advise everyone to avoid this dealership. Tim in the service department blatantly lied in my face repeatedly and never apologized. They don't care about their customers and they definitely will overcharge you for work you don't need done. 4/21/22 So i got my car back this morning with no issues. Thank god! The auto shop was able to fix my car in two days. This is what Hamilton Chevrolet was trying to charge me 3k to fix as well as not giving me a eta when it would be done. A freaking wire!!! Check out the tore wire, doesn't it look like it was cut intentionally or is it just me? You never know with these places. Do not buy or lease from this dealership. What was supposed to be a simple 30min oil change turned into a 4 hour multiple vehicle issues once completed. Somehow they put 13 miles on the odometer for an oil change, and I had about 5 warning lights after leaving. They didn't say a word, but upon return a service guy said oil may have dumped in a piston. No explanation that makes sense for ABS / Steering / engine light errors. I took my car to be checked out and told them I was told it was the alternator. They said it was my battery and charged me $85. Two days later my check engine light came on. The service at this dealership is beyond awful! The first time I went to Hamilton for service it took them nearly 3 hours to change my oil! The 2nd time I had an issue with my trunk not closing properly. The service rep recommended that I crack my window open prior to closing so it would close without slamming. When I said that fix was unacceptable, they tweaked my trunk closers so the trunk slams every time I close it. My third experience involved a radio fix that I was told would take 90 minutes. I dropped off my car at 6:20 in the morning and when I went to pick it up at 3:30 they hadn't even touched it!! I'm beyond done with this place! read more

The worst ever they had my C-7 Corvette for 2 months for a simple repair, I received my estimate from my adjuster it's only 41 hrs of labor the most called the General Manager 3 times no response back only when I post on Google did I get an reply back...an to top that off my radiator fan is now running when it should not be. Terrible customer service them said they couldn't do anything to compensate me for my inconvenience but wave my $250.00 deductible after missing the whole summer 2 notes paid without car and oh yeah lease up in 2 wks. Just leased a new blazer from Hamilton Chevy. My salesman was unaware that the vehicle had scratches and acid rain marks on every panel of the car hood to trunk. When I went to pick the car up the weather was bad so I didn't go inspect it like I should have . They were nice enough to take the car back in and try to buff all the scratches and damages out, but of course it's all still there for me to look at for the next 3 years of my lease. Paying $490 a month If you plan on getting a new car from Hamilton Chevy I would make sure to look it over with a fine tooth comb unless you like your new car to have a bunch of scratches. Once you sign it's yours. I have never seen such poor customer service.The manager Andrew who had me come in during his lunch break to address the issue,had everyone else in the dealership try and help me hoping I'd leave rather than helping me like he should have. I purchased my new truck from them in March of 2018, I brought it in for my first free oil change and tire rotation, only to find huge oils spots on my driveway 2 days later, I had to have it towed in so they could fix it. I lost a day of work because they would not deliver it when work was done. When the repair was finished, they half assed cleaned off the oil under the truck on the pan and frame but the "new" oil filter had oil dripping off it. I also told the service manager that I didn't think that they rotated my tires, there was dust on the lug nuts the first time I took it in. he had no answer for that. I've made many calls to the dealership manager with no call back. I just get emails that state this is not normal practice and to please call them, but nobody calls me back. Its been three weeks. Now thus far I have YET to have a bad experience although my mom had an "interesting" experience. I had to take my car in for some routine maintenance and dealt with Terry Williams. He explained to me everything that needed to be fixed and how much it would cost. He was very adamant on keeping the lines of communication open and told me that when I came to pick up my car it was important that he was there so we could meet in person. Now that is enhanced customer service. The prices weren't outrageous and the car came back good as new. Because I am me and not my mother, I will leave it to her to yelp about her experiences. My mother took her new pre-owned vehicle there to have it detailed. Left it there all day. Went to pick it up and it was just as dirty as it was when she dropped it off. The following day I took it upon myself to spend a few hours detailing it and when I cleaned the interior windows, I found that even the windows hadn't been cleaned at the dealership. They did NOTHING. The assistant service manager was very nice and accommodating and refunded her money, but the fact that this happened is very frustrating. read more

Less than three years after buying the car NEW from another Chevy dealer. When you walk in, expect to stand around and have to ask for help, direction, ect and then when you get directed somewhere, to have to ask for more help. Purchased a 2014 Chevy Cruze I was blown away that $200 was charged for 7 minutes of plastic along the side of the car. I didn't even want to take the car home. After going back in to talk with my salesman and financier; I was assured they would "make it right". When "pin striping" is offered, PAINT striping should be the only kind offered. Paint is TRUE pin striping, not cheap tape that can be purchased at any auto parts store. It was all made right within a few days and I am now satisfied with my experience. read more

When my rental coverage on my insurance ran out, they were able to arrange for a loaner for the end of the work. So this is getting a one star rating because of the Service department. I dropped my car off here the day after Thanksgiving and thankfully they accepted my vehicle even though it was 5min until closing. Once I got my vehicle in the computers and all my information in I was told that I would receive a phone call Monday afternoon but no later than end of day Tuesday once they do a diagnosis on it. Tuesday come and I have no phone calls or emails from them stating their findings. I give them a phone call at 5:55 and was told by an employee that "...It sounds like something with the engine." After he quickly reads off a list of problems that I did not hear. He also mentioned that it should be under warranty if it's internal. I should hear from someone by Friday.... Friday reaches and I still have not heard from no one nor received an email from them. So I drive up to the dealership because my vacation ends that day and I have to get tools out of my trunk and see if I need to get a rental car for work the following week. I get there and is told somebody will be with me shortly. I watch the employees walk by me multiple times and never helped me with anything but assisted other customers. It took for me to ask again whom do I speak to; because the guy who took my car hasn't been there since I dropped my car off, n order for me to receive service. At this point I'm pissed off but keeps my cool because I use to work in a collision shop and understand how busy it could get. I get to the counter and the employee does the exact same thing the other employee did on the phone, read off a list of problems and said It sound like something with the engine. It's scheduled to go to a Heavy Technician next week so you should receive a call by next Thursday the latest. I mention I need my tools and how disappointed I was it took this long for me to find out if I need to get a rental for work next week and he says " Oh no one ever offered you a rental...We give those out for the period of time we have your vehicle." So I get a rental (WITH RESTRICTIONS). I'm guessing you could imagine where this is going. Thursday come and still no phone call or email. So I wait until Friday to call. I called at 5:58 and after explaining to the lady my situation before I even finish she cuts me off and says I can leave a message for the manager and transfer me instantly without giving me time to reply or acknowledge that I heard her. I'm pissed off because they had my car since the Black Friday and NOT ONCE DID THEY CALL ME ABOUT WHATS GOING ON!!! They started working on my vehicle without my permission or even acknowledging me that they will work on it because it's under the manufacture warranty. I will not recommend this branch to anyone in the future. My car is still in their shop and I have not received a phone call from these guys and probably won't until after New Years because their Service department is under construction. read more

Then I ask him to make sure it was built in America and went on to say it's probably made here at one of the 4 truck plants, the one in Kentucky, Fort Wayne, flint and Texas . Sales people don't even know where there vehicle's are built, and by the way GM does not have a truck plant in Kentucky. Then he got political on me saying sooner or later all GM cars and truck will be built there. Just unprofessional. So then I decide to just go in there after work to just test drive the truck and talk to a different sales person. took a 2016 silverado truck for a test drive, ran good drove good and shifted like a truck should, i asked him why it was priced so low his response was im not going to sit on my inventory like the rest of the car lots like he owned the place , salesmen said mon or Tuesday i'll call and we can get the paperwork ready, monday no call tuesday afternoon i decided to call, after i waited all weekend for them to clean it up because it was a trade in, his excuse for not calling was the transmission was slipping and bad and that they were going to sell it wholesale and then when i still wanted to buy it as is, he had the sale already set for a guy they deal with that buys them like that, if thats true why mention selling it wholesale . his name is brook jamieson, three things folks 1, any salesperson worth there weight in salt will keep in touch with someone willing to pay for the whole vehicle flat out and offer to pay the fee if paid for by a credit card 2. he lied and is a liar, i test drove that truck and even laid into it and it shifted smooth it only had 90,000 and those trucks have a 8l90 transmission which is pretty much a solid trans and [i have rebuilt 6l80 and 8l90 as well as 4l60e transmissions before and even a few engines] 3 dont shop there, if they know how this guy rolls this way then they all role that way, do not trust them and obviously dont go get a loan ahead of time or from them as if they are shady on just a single truck they are shady all the way around, it is simply not worth it when dealing with these people. and to the person that responds ask bj for my number he has it dont get on here trying to sugar coat my anger, i dont want to hear excuses or an apology in today's society an apology online is as good as a ppo from john wayne gacy also i see they make dam sure to have someone else put a review up with 5 stars if they get a bad review i hope ya got time it will be on every site i can find, i dont mind not getting what i want in life but i will not let anyone laugh me off and have me thinking i am getting something and then not even call me to let me know, maybe a few people holding a few signs will teach you a lesson because an imaginary hurt or a slight is flat out wrong, [caps key is broke] read more

Just had one of the best service experiences here! Had Christina as a service advisor. She was welcoming and friendly. I was impressed how clean and nice the lounge was. Employees were super friendly with some kids in the waiting area. I had a standard oil change/tire rotation that took less than an hour. Christina got me when my car was done and check out was quick. We had an amazing experience with Greg Kansier. He is so helpful, not pushy or high pressure. My daughter car was totaled in an accident so she was on a quest looking for a used car. She went to Hamilton just to look and was greeted by Greg. He let her look around and gave her his card. We went back with her a few hours later to help her look and test drive. After driving a few cars, she found one that she loves! The financing guy name is Jim, he was just as personable and nice as Greg. He made the finance part easy and stress free for her being her first time buying a car on her own. I've dealt with many dealerships over the years and never had such a pleasurable experience!
