Greatest hamburger place in the area. The portions are hefty, and I suggest ordering the small burger for lunch, unless you are mighty hungry. You can't make a trip to H.D. without devouring an order of the delicious fresh cut/homemade potato chips or the mouth watering onion rings. For a deliciously healthy alternative (joke), the Nachos (homemade potato chips, ground beef, cheese, onions) are perfect for lunch after a night of mayhem. Amazing. read more

The burgers here are big and juicy. The portions are very generous and the prices are reasonable. There is a pretty big menu outside of the burgers but I think I'll have a hard time straying. The french fries were good but the onion rings seems a little dry and floury. May skip them next time. There wasn't an empty seat in the house at around noon. I love cheese burgers and the Hamburger Depot has the BEST hamburger in town, hands down. But about a year ago a friend ask me to try their grilled chicken burger called, The Clucker. One word, FANTASTIC. Always moist and never dry. Every time I go to get a burger I end up changing my mind for another chicken sandwich. It is that good. The only down for me is not enough fries when I get it to go. But over all they have the best and you will not be disappointed. If you go at noon be prepared to stand in a long line, but it does move fast. read more

I LOVE their burgers!!!! I get a depot cheeseburger and curly fries most of the time and I always leave full and satisfied, and you can ask my gf this is no easy task. Great sweet tea and they don't cook your food until you order it and only takes about 10min before its set in from of you! For being in a gas station the place is clean and well kept. The staff is always rude and the patties have no flavor to me. I have visited numerous times, always hoping for it to live up to the "word of mouth" praises, but no. It never does. Whataburger, Novrosky's, and Willy Burger are all better choices! read more

This place is great and the burgers are huge. You can get a cheeseburger, fries and a drink for 7.50. Don't be in a hurry because, it will take a while to get your burger out and there is not much room to seat in the small dining room. If I get a burger from here, its good. It's a burger place. However, if you want chicken strips, you might as well just ask sysco to deliver frozen southern breaded warehouse made chicken strips. Not good. For the money that was paid they should be hand cut and battered, not frozen and dropped. They also tasted like shrimp, so either the chicken and shrimp is cooked in the same oil, or the chicken strips just tasted like shrimp. Good burgers, shrimpy chicken strips. read more

One hour and 45 minuted to get 12 meals. Faxed order in @ 11:30, got there and paid for it @ 12:16 (ticket has time stamped on it by cash register) got the food @ 1:14. Seemed that they kept taking burgers that should have been with my order and giving them to others who ordered one or two and never finished filling my order. If people asked about their order they would pull a burger and give it to them. Good burgers but not worth the treatment you receive as a customer. Busy is no excuse. People who got there way after me got theirs, ate and were gone before I got mine. read more

Was a little hesitant but after reading reviews decided to give it a try. We came into town from Deridder and this is by far the best hamburger I've had in a long time. Grilled and cooked all the way through with great taste and manger was super nice. Super full just after the Small Cheeseburger, hubs had a double and enjoyed every last bite. read more

On November 9, we were waited on by an Hispanic girl who was working with a white girl and a black manager. Very disappointed. The manager was eating while watching the food being prepared. They were loud and very obnoxious .First, it took 25 minutes for 2 small depot burgers and 1 order of onion rings. When we finally got our food, they had gotten the order backwards. Because my husband hates mustard, he sent it back. The girl said we can "fix" it. They fixed it by replacing the buns, scraping the mustard off the meat and throwing it back on the grill and adding mayo. It still had mustard. When my husband went back to the counter the girl who said she would fix it, rudely yelled, "I did exactly what i said!" My husband said the order should never been messed up to start with. My husband requested a refund which the manager was polite in returning his money but I will not be returning and will not recommend. After returning home, I ended up with an upset stomach. Very sad because the Depot in Nederland is clean, professional, timely and never gets my order wrong. read more
