This place convinced her that reds can be good, so I take a lot of pride in being able to show her and her husband this gem. They said they'll definitely take their parents here too. The views are amazing, the people are friendly, and tipping is very much optional. I recommend doing the tasting and then getting a glass and strolling the property. There are adirondak chairs out front and picnic tables out back. They'll open up the glass folding windows in the tasting room on breezy days. There are beautiful flowers all over the property. Some of the wines are named after the owners' dogs - Delilah's Cuvee is my favorite!

Upon sipping the first wine (2019 patron valley Pinot) which is the perfect pizza or "porch pounder" wine, I knew this would be a good place. The 2014 estate Pinot is to die for, but it's club only, so we didn't end up taking it home, but their club is a really good deal. For $75 you get access to the club with no bottle purchase quotas. You simply get to enjoy two free tastes or glass pours per visit and a whopping 35% off bottles (WHAT?). We also got crackers and rogue creamery cheese to snack on and it was the perfect visit under our own personal heat lamp. Can't wait to come back in the summer. The views aren't the best, but I can excuse that with the quality of the wine and the friendliness of the tasting associates.

It was beautiful scenery with the blocks of grapes, open concept inside, and all the flowers where you could watch little hummingbirds. This property is off the beaten path, but well signed and you have to know in advance that this location is at the end of Dick Road (so keep going). I had looked it up on the map and noticed that fact so I knew that at the end of the road there would be the vineyard. We pulled up to a house but it had various golf carts and other implements around so it appeared that no one resided there. The sign on the front door said join us outside on the patio just down the stairs. So, we followed down the stairs (I'm not sure what you do if you cannot do stairs--it looks like you maybe able to pull around on another side but I'm not clear on that) I would probably call first if I had any kind of mobility issues. We walked a little ways and saw a lighted room and so we went inside. Turns out this is the bathroom and not where they were wine tasting. We kept walking through the patio and there was no one in site. Finally, we spotted a large tent that was put up and the tasting area was set up there. We walked in and were casually greeted by a young girl who proceeded to tell us what they were out of and wanted to know if we wanted to taste a wine. I said that we had a coupon for the lunch basket and she wanted the info off of that and she would go and make it up. She then took off to go do that leaving us huddled on some damp chairs under the tent with another couple. It was about 48 degrees under the tent and they had heaters for the outdoors but they weren't lit. The YS and I were beginning to think we should get the food to go and forget the wine. Then the owner Melinda came out and asked if we wanted to taste a wine and proceeded to tell us a bit about them and we decided to split a tasting. She told us about how their vineyard as well as their farm acreage (they have about 70 acres). While we were talking the girl brought out the food and set it down not saying anything to anyone. I later asked Melinda if that was for us and she said yes. Melinda also quickly lit the heaters when she got out there she said that her helper (the girl from earlier) didn't know how to do it. I think the girl needs some training as she's doing a great business a real disservice. We ended up eating our lunch which was very tasty and bought a bottle of wine to enjoy with our lunch as well as two bottles to take home. I will say that our first impression was not a great one based on the girl and her demeanor we were going to eat and leave. Melinda is very friendly and customer service oriented. I will definitely be back again. If we didn't have two wine club memberships already we would have joined theirs as they have fun events with the wine pick ups as well as other events open to the general public. The wine tasting was $20 a piece, waived with the purchase of 2 bottles. The wine bottles we tried ranged from $27 to $50 or $60 (not sure, as they did not have any printed menus for the latest tasting). We thought, from their website and yelp, that we would have both tastings waived with the purchase of 2 bottles. However, she only waived one tasting when we purchased two wines. Overall, a pleasant experience. We enjoyed the selection of wines, mostly reds with one white. The charcuterie board was small, but only $10 and it was good for nibbling. There is lots of seating both indoors and out, and it's nice to not have to make a reservation!
