People around us ordered the full board and it was massive enough for 2 very hungry people or 3/4 people sharing. The staff was amazing! Very friendly and so willing to help you pick a wine and provided table service. The sparkling Blanc de Blanc was so amazing I broke my wine budget just to take a bottle home to my very picky man. He gave it the thumbs up, huge win!!, and it will become a splurge wine for us; we love dry sparkling wine.

This place sits firmly in the sweet spot of not being too "dinky" or small and not being too stuffy or corporate. I know we all have our preferences, I just like for my environment to be laid back or relaxed. The wines are fantastic here. Keep in mind, I'm no connoisseur of fine wine but I do know good from bad. Beyond the wine, we love this place due to the view (of course) but also the fact you can parlay your wine allocation pick up with a rotating menu of food. This was my first time at a vineyard and what a FANTASTIC time it was. The sommelier there was beyond amazing (I didn't catch his name silly me), the customer service was top tier and the property is beautiful! The sommelier was extremely attentive, exceedingly knowledgeable, eager to teach and I haven't been so pleased with a service before in my entire life. They allowed us to lounge around in between our wine tasting to walk the property, take pictures (both indoors and outdoors), even introduced me to some new snacks I hadn't tried (miso/caramel rice crispy I am indeed thinking of you) Man, where do I even begin. We decided to end our Oregon trip with this winery, that we actually found the previous day. We took an uber which was fairly cheap from downtown Portland and although the trek into the property was a bit sketchy, where else was I expecting a vineyard to be located lol. Upon arrival we were greeted and chose our seats. There were two types of wine tastings on the menu. One was of their seasonal wines and the other was one they would curate towards your liking in terms of what your enjoyed, we're looking to try, or what you were open to. And would you guess? We did BOTH options haha During this wine tasting, I have found my FAVORITE wine this far, which was actually ironic because they released the wine for the first time JUST the day prior, talk about perfect timing ehh. I have been pushing off ordering the wine, but will soon! The one I fell in love with is the Pinot Blanc by LERZI- it's a young wine, but the flavor is bold, fresh and sweet. It was honestly amazing and is the only wine I could care to even have in my collection lol The sommelier- what an awesome guy with amazing social skills! Took the time to explain wine history to us, explained the concept behind each wine we tried (that's 9 different wines we tried in total people), even how certain wines came about, how each were made and the history of certain wine regions and how the grapes there are produced. There was a reservation for the "vault" I'll call it, but it's just a separate tasting room. He told me there was a group coming and still let me go and run to take some pictures before they arrived. Which was perfect, because it is absolutely stunning! (I am not sure how many pictures I will be uploading for this place, but know that it is many haha). You know how first experiences mean a lot and are just a well held memory? I had such a wonderful time at this vineyard I am not sure how others will compare. Every single aspect tasted, experienced and saw here was absolutely amazing. Although we spent time here before heading to the airport, this experience def made the trip. Mostly, how welcoming everyone was! That is always something that sticks to ya! We visited mid-afternoon on a Monday and though there were people in and out, we felt like we had the place to ourselves lol! It was cozy, peaceful and quiet, even when others were there. It was very comfortable and felt like I could literally stay there all day. Being able to walk around the property while drinking wine, going to get your other glass and continue taking pictures was great. There was this essence of trust for us to be able to walk around and explore. That felt lighthearted and ofc added to the experience as well I look forward to visiting this winery again and it def made Oregon a place for me that I would love to double back on. I'll stop here, this review was long enough. I enjoyed myself thoroughly- and that surprised me the most.

So glad we found this vineyard and it was worth the 45min drive from Portland.

Winery Stop #3: Benza Vineyards…read more This wine tasting was held outside on the owners patio and the views were beautiful. Tastings are $25 per person but the fee is waived with a $75 wine purchase or wine club sign-up. Benza was our favorite vineyard that we visited while on our wine tour. We ended up purchasing a few bottles and chose the 2018 Estate Pinot Gris (2 bottles), 2020 Estate Rose, 2017 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir (2 bottles) and 2018 Three Tuxedos Reserve Pinot Noir. You get a 10% discount for purchasing 6 bottles or more so that was a plus. An appointment is recommended but walk-ins are welcome.

Amanda Kelly not only picks up...she delivers! Our BnB recommended her as a "newer" wine tour guide. Although she has been in the Willamette touring industry for a few years, she recently went out on her own as an independent. She was very thoughtful and inclusive on the phone asking about preferences of larger versus smaller vinyard tours, specific types of wines, how much we were budgeting per bottle, etc. It was nice to have a foundation with which we could build our tasting experience. She also asked about lunch preferences that she would pick up. We were able to order off a menu she provided with 2 choices of local sandwich shops. She was conscientious about "stopping" to go eat someplace and opted instead to allow us to sit and visit with a vintner and continue tasting while we ate lunch. We had a fail safe system in place to ease out of a tasting if we weren't "feeling it". Upon arrival at the smaller vinyards, it was apparent that she knew the owners and we all were very comfortable sitting around visiting about their specific story on how they got started, what grape variety they grew, and what they had to offer. Amanda was considerate and upon introducing us to the owner, gave space and checked back in periodically to keep us on the timetable for the day's schedule. She is very friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. We enjoyed great humor while traveling between vinyards. She also took many candid photos of us and our interactions with owners/each other during the day and will email them to us. I feel that she is well organized and budgeted time well in keeping to a schedule so we could maximize our touring experience and not feel rushed or hurried. At the end of the day, we returned safely with our driver/tour guide. Amanda's vehicle also is a well appointed luxury SUV that was crisp and clean. Very comfortable and spacious for a day of travel. I cannot find enough great things to say about Oregon Posh tours. Being that there are so many wineries in Willamette Valley and we now have a personal connection with an independent tour operator, we will be back and we will use Amanda Kelly again. read more

Amanda is fantastic! I and my four friends had a wonderful day we will always remember. She picked us up promptly on time in a luxury vehicle fully stocked with water and snacks. After about 15 minutes of listening to our conversation about the wines we like, she changed our tour to accommodate our tastes. At each location she introduced us to the staff in the tasting rooms and ensured we were taken care of. She then left us to enjoy our tasting and converse with the staff, allowing the professionals at each site to explain their wines and their vineyards. At lunch, she laid out linens and china and unobtrusively cleaned everything up when we were done. While traveling to different wineries, she'd educate us about the region and its history. She had vast knowledge about each winery and the varietals they grew, but never intruded on our tastings. She was professional, knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and paid attention to every detail. Most importantly, she was a delight as a tour guide. I highly recommend Oregon Posh Tours to anyone interested in Oregon wines. read more

They produce 4 different Pinot Noirs, 3 high ends and one Willamette Valley, a syrah, a malbec, a red blend, and a port. My favorites are all the pinots, the malbec, and the port. They are an extremely small winery and don't produce much. Mark and Tina are great and treat everybody extremely well. Since they are small they charge a high tasting price to try avoid the non-buyers (those that go just to drink). I have no problem paying their tasting fee. Previous reviewer here who gave one star obviously does not like Pinot Noir. You can tell by his other reviews.

THE BIG: Located in Hillsboro Oregon and has a gorgeous view of the volcano especially Mount Hood…read morein the back. Plenty of parking in the lot in front. THE BLACK AND WHITE: This was our last winery stop before we headed back to Portland and we were fortunate to snag a seat outside overlooking Mount Hood. This place also doubles as an Airbnb so if there's ever a stay the night kind of deal, this winery offers it. I got the wine tasting of four which consisted of a pinot gris, cab franc, pinot noir and a rose of pinot noir. My favorite out of the bunch was surprisingly the cab franc, even though we were in pinot country. Very green and vegetal tasting. It was a weird way to get to the bathroom which I had to walk around the building because the farmer was sleeping in the main room. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall a tasting was around $28. I'd say a good value and good wines with a great view.
