Halvorsen Sewer Service was excellent. Eric quickly diagnosed a badly restricted basement floor drain, cleared the P-trap and downstream line, and even found a piece of copper pipe lodged in the trap. He had everything flowing properly again in about 30 minutes. Fast, knowledgeable, and straightforward. I'd absolutely use Halvorsen again. read more

Eric did a great job explaining his services and recommending future maintenance/actions that might be needed. Communication was clear and he arrived as arranged. read more

I live in a wonderful old house, surrounded by wonderful old trees who have wonderful roots that grow into the sewer line. I've been working with Eric for a long time and he is on time, fair-priced, and super efficient and effective. We never have a problem after Eric (or Nick, second in command) work on our sewers. I've also had help with shower, sink, and laundry tub drains. Excellent work. Text or call, they are super responsive. Just a little side story, Eric was over on Christmas eve day to solve a problem in the line. He is the man to know. Halvorsen needs to be on your list of regulars for help around your home. read more

I had a clogged kitchen sink and it was my granddaughter's birthday and Christmas was the next day and we were hosting Christmas Day so we needed a working kitchen sink!!! I was fortunate enough to come across Eric Halverson from Halverson Sewer and Drain Cleaning. Eric showed up when he said he would and he completed the work very thoroughly and carefully. He came to our house on Christmas Eve and he saved the day. I would highly recommend Eric for any clogged drain or sewer. He is very professional and competent. read more

Transparent, responsive, budget friendly and people friendly! Can't say enough great things about Halvorsen plumbing. We have been using them for all of our sewer services for years and couldn't recommend them more highly. Eric is extremely helpful and insightful. I feel that we can trust him completely and he always has his customers best interest in mind. read more

Eric was incredible - we had him out two separate times to help with a clogged toilet. He was able to come out on short notice, and the service was very efficient and at a very fair price. Also appreciated how clean he left everything! Would hire him again for all our future plumbing needs. read more

As a property owner one of the most upsetting sights is to look down into a sink and see it filled with dirty water because of a clogged drain. Eric at Halverson Sewer Service is your salvation. We have been using him for at least ten years and he has always come through for us. He has a great sink side manner reassuring you that all will be well soon and the problem isn't all that is unusual or serious. Just what you need to hear as you envision the possibility of major pipe replacement. Eric is prompt, competent, courteous, and his fees are reasonable. He also likes dogs which is a big plus in our household. I highly recommend Halverson Sewer Service. read more

I cannot recommend Eric and Halvorsen Sewer Service highly enough. They have integrity, great pricing, and great service. He saved me from bring ripped-off by a large sewer company to the tune of thousands of dollars. Our sewer backed up on a Sunday and as a first-time homeowner experiencing something like that for the first time, I panicked and called a large sewer/plumbing company. They came out right away and cleared the sewer line. They brought out a guy with a camera who scoped our sewer line and told me it was broken and required an emergency replacement, costing $17,000+ to replace the entire sewer line. I called around for a 2nd opinion and found Halvorsen Sewer Service. Eric responded to me on a Sunday, expressing concern with the assessment by the large company and offering to come take a look at it for me the next day. Eric used his camera and quickly told me that the sewer line WASN'T BROKEN. The perceived break was a buildup of concrete slurry on the bottom of the pipe, causing some water to pool. Eric cleared the concrete slurry from the pipe and told me that he did not think any repairs were necessary. He even provided me with a copy of the video of my sewer line which the large company did not do. I sent the video to a 3rd company and they confirmed Eric's opinion that no repairs to the sewer line were necessary. Halvorson Sewer Service did an incredible job cleaning the sewer line and getting all of the things the large company missed, at a MUCH more competitive price. He educated me thoroughly and gave me great advice on how to maintain the sewer line going forward. If you have sewer line cleaning or inspection needs, I cannot recommend Eric and Halvorsen Sewer highly enough. read more

They came they dis the work. Very professional and the cost was reasonable. I would and have recommended them. 4 stars

Eric is a true professional with years of experience which he shares readily with his clients. He understands how sewers age and is judicious when recommending repairs unlike some plumbing companies which recommend replacement/repair at the cost of thousands to the homeowner even though the sewer is fully functioning with no issues. Eric knows when to leave well enough alone and when repair is truly warranted. Recommend without reservation. read more

Eric at Halvorsen cleaned a sewage line for us at a house my partner and I had an accepted offer on. Unfortunately, the sewage line needed heavy repair and after reaching out to 4 repair experts, the cost was going to come out to $14,000. Eric decided to tell the sellers the sewage line was in average condition and this made the sellers think there was no repair needed. This cost my partner and me the house because we were going off actual experts and not just the cleaning service. Very disappointed in this service and how Eric handled the situation. He shouldn't have given any opinion on the matter since he doesn't repair sewage lines, he just cleans them. read more

We called about a clogged kitchen sink and Eric had Nick out to solve our problem within the hour. Excellent service!

The Service was great. He showed up early for an 8 AM apportionment. Our job too over an hour longer than anticipated and he was persistent in removing the roots even tho it put him behind on his other jobs. We were also offered suggestions to prevent the problems from getting worse in the future! Great job! Thanks! read more

I had a basement drain that was not flowing and Eric responded to my email request within two hours. He was available to come out the same day but with my schedule I had to have him come out the next morning. He called me 20 minutes before his arrival well within the window he gave me. He completed the job efficiently and cleanly at a fair price. Very professional. read more

Terrific service -- Eric was friendly, thorough, and professional. He took the time to ensure the problem was solved, and the 90-day guarantee was comforting as well. Was also great with two excitable dogs. Cost-effective as well. Highly recommend this company. read more

We worked with Eric Vonzel, owner of Halvorsen Sewer Services, for a floor drain clean out, not the main line this time which he cleans out for us annually. Eric is FANTASTIC to work with--replies promptly to calls, gives an arrival window on the appointment day, then texts 15 minutes or so before arriving as needed. Wears a mask throughout, super nice person, remembers all the details about prior jobs! When we had a sewer back-up a few years ago and a really shady plumbing place (um, Ben Franklin) wanted us to do some bizarre $2000 treatment (after their first one failed because they did not clean out the line all the way to the street!), Eric came out and fixed everything for $150. He is the best, could not recommend more highly. read more

Eric was a great help! Our toilets, showers, and floor drains were backing up, so we were in a real bind. Every time we flushed, the downstairs toilet would gurgle, and water would come up. We called Eric that evening, and he was able to come by the next day. He was incredibly kind, polite, and helpful. He answered our questions patiently. He was fast and affordable. He was also very clean! He even cleaned the floor before he left. read more

Eric has been cleaning out my main drain of tree roots for quite a few years now, he is always on time, does a great job & even offered to change the timing to 3 years since have not had root issues. Would definitely recommend him for any Service he provides. Thanks! read more

Great service. Available. Punctual. Polite. Professional. Experienced. Texted a reminder before appointment. Explained it all to my boyfriend who wanted to learn everything. We had a very tough rare problem inherited from the previous homeowners who added on a bathroom. Once the problem was identified, he spent very much time and effort resolving it. I thought for sure he'd give up. Nope! And thank goodness. Problem solved! The bill: surprisingly affordable. Have already recommended his service to my friends. read more

Eric, owner of Halvorsen Sewer Service saved the day and at a very reasonable price to boot! We had called our trusted long time sewer guy first and his attempt at clearing the sewer line from the laundry room floor drain did not work. In fact the old fart thought he should ream it from the main sewer clean-out which was almost inaccessible because of a cedar closet blocking part of it. For some reason he never even mentioned the stack, and told us to get back to him after we moved the cedar closet. To make a long story short we were referred to Eric for a second opinion and walla, problem solved in a little over an hour (by the way Eric went through the stack to eliminate lots of tree roots). Eric is now our new sewer guy! PS Yelp mentions that Eric takes credit cards, but he does not. read more

The kind of service I like - the owner is doing the work, and he is seems very knowledgeable, good at explaining what he's doing and what he found, punctual, and clean. No complaints at all. read more

Very professional - provided communication from when he would be arriving, to what the issue was, how he would approach it, walked me through testing the drains, and backs up his work. Pleasantly surprised at the reasonable price. Will be keeping his card for any and all future sewer work! read more
