I would not recommend Atelier 507 to anyone, for any reason. I am writing this review because I've noticed an increase in Atelier507's advertising, and I think anyone considering this business should be aware of my family's experience. We signed a six-figure contract with Bobby in December of 2020 for our home remodel. We ultimately paid that entire contract amount, plus about 60% more. To this day, the work is not complete. Bobby abandoned the project before we were able to pass the City of Phoenix's inspection process. So, we have not been able to close out the permits with the City of Phoenix. We were initially told that our home would be finished in March of 2021. It still isn't, 18 months latter. Bobby did find another company to complete the work when we informed him of our intent to file a complaint with ROC after he abandoned the project, so I am hopeful that we will be finished with this chapter in our lives soon. It has caused a lot of stress for our family. The work that was completed required (and still requires) significant repair and "touch up" work. The work was rushed and not carefully completed. It seemed that Bobby wanted to complete the job as quickly and inexpensively (for him) as possible. Some examples: The grout and drywall in and around our primary bath shower is severely cracking. The shower tiles themselves have begun to crack. The drywall around the title is cracking. The shluter around the shower niche is sharp and sticks out from the wall. Our child's bathroom tile has similar issues. The shluter around her tub is sharp and sticks out to the point that she recently cut herself while getting into the shower. He purchased (basic, undoubtedly inexpensive, white) paint for the interior of the home without consulting us about paint color. We were told that was the color our walls would be painted, because the paint had already been purchased. The paint was thinly and sloppily applied. The kitchen layout was not well planned. We are unable to open one of our refrigerator doors. We purchased our appliances prior to the remodel; still the kitchen design was not compatible with what we'd purchased. The kitchen backsplash was installed quickly and carelessly: the grout is cracking, and the square tiles are noticeably off center above the stove. The "under cabinet lighting" was screwed into our cabinets so that the sharp end of the screws were poking through the bottom of the cabinets. Our plans included a pantry/mudroom, which had to be scrapped due to poor planning. When we finally had no choice but to move in to our home in October 2021 (despite the fact that it was unfinished), we spent my. first few days there cleaning urine, grime, and pubic hair off of our "new" toilets. We still find cigarette butts in our yard. A custom-built entertainment center was damaged. A box full of our clothing was used as a trashcan (and cigarette receptacle). There is paint splattered on our flagstone patio and pool deck. Our kitchen cabinets were full of trash. The crew left behind their garbage and extra supplies for us to clean up. We have paid Bobby every cent we owed. And when we were asked to make progress payments early to accommodate Bobby's vacations, we did. Still, when we expressed concerns, we were reminded of the fact that Bobby was "trying to run a business," that it "wasn't worth it" to him to have anyone come to our home to address issues, and that there was a "million dollar project" that was Bobby's priority. At the beginning, Bobby was professional and accommodating... that did not last. I hesitated to post a review prior to our home passing a City inspection because I just want the project finished so that our family can move on. It's been a year since we moved into a construction zone, and this process has been a nightmare. I hope that sharing our experience helps others to make an informed choice.

Jessie and his team were AMAZING for my full bathroom remodel!…read more My husband was diagnosed with spinal cancer and went from total mobility to wheelchair bound in 1 week's time. Because of this, we needed to make our master bathroom wheelchair accessible FAST. Jessie and his team kicked butt to get the job done as fast as possible. Most other contractors were 6-10 weeks out for their jobs. I am not sure what magic Jessie worked but started our bathroom within a week and a half of us contacting him and finished the job in just about two weeks time. Our bathroom had to be totally gutted to allow for a "roll in" shower. They had to jack hammer away the floors to accommodate this. We also had to remove a wall to help it be more wheelchair friendly. We decided that since it would need to be so extensive we might as well make a few more upgrades at the same time... like can lights and new cabinet and countertops. Jessie rolled with the punches and let us upgrade what we needed and was so flexible. Jessie and his team did a great job of doing what they said they would do and there were minimum delays on the job. My husband came home early from the hospital and Jessie stayed late to make sure my husband at least had the shower and handicapped toilet he could use when he got home. That was over and above! They were efficient, professional, very respectful and helpful and cleaned up when finished each day. I got a bathroom that is beautiful and top notch. If you want the lowest price out there, remember you get what you pay for. His quality of work cannot be disputed so don't be put off by the price, it is worth it. I am not sure if I can post photos on here of before and after but if I can I will. If I cannot, I am happy to share the final results.

After a drunk driver ended our contractor's career at the start of our project, DKB stored our delivered cabinets for free until we hired a new contractor. When the cabinets were mis-measured too tall and covered our AC vents, DKB ordered another properly sized set immediately at no charge. Despite these setbacks and more, Randy Smith (store manager) kept constant communication and always followed through. Kevin, a 9-year technician, wrapped-up the project with the highest skill level, craftsmanship, and eye for detail. While the project took longer than expected, it was done right and perfectly. Keep in mind that these are custom field installations with each order being manufactured to spec. The level of coordination with the manufacturer, sales, design, installation, and detailing requires highly seasoned experts in your corner like Randy and Kevin. Their guys showed up on time. They were courteous. They were respectful of us, and respectful of our home. They asked for our input when they got to a part that required some judgement. They performed mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and drywall work. All done nearly to perfection. And they passed the acid test; after they left, I noticed two small things which I thought could have done better. They returned immediately and made these right. And they sent an invoice almost a week later (giving us an opportunity to discover any other issues, which we did NOT), and the invoice was for the exact amount of the estimate. They accepted my credit card payment over the phone. Our job was a small one, but they have definitely encouraged us to contact them again for our next job - small or large. His quote for doing just the work requested was fair and reasonable.
