the sale for the 50% off day is incredible. very reasonable prices and a rather vast selection and variety.

Pull things out without tag on floor and will make you wait all day for the item they should have priced in the first place to get retagged! Girl that prices home stuff will not bring cart out till it's time for her to go home so she can grab the good items. Unacceptable. read more

Haltom Thrift has a great selection of good items at really solid prices. I've found some nice pieces here for way cheaper than other places, and the deals are definitely worth checking out. The store is usually well stocked and you never know what you'll find. Overall a good thrift store with fair prices--just a little more organization would make it perfect. read more

Haltom Thrift - Thrift Stores Near Me - Haltom City, Texas

I'm a school teacher who has a few students that have leukemia and have been helped by leukemia texas. So I have shopped a lot at Haltom Thrift because I know how much the proceeds help your organization. BUT,...that was until today (7/24/26). The lady employees at Haltom Thrift were so RUDE and HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL THAT I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. The Bur Oaks Investments group that owns this thrift store needs to know this as well. I asked the girl employee what the color tag for discounts was today and she stood there staring at me with her headphones in her ears pulling them with a huff of breath like I was interrupting her. She was not the only one rude to me today at this store when I asked a question. These employees are TERRIBLE!!!!!!! I'M NOT EVER GOING BACK TO THEIR STORES AGAIN!!!!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TO SHOP HERE TRUST ME!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

This is my favorite local thrift store! Great prices, great selection! The staff is friendly too!

The customer service sucks ever since they hired the new assistant manager. And let's not talk about the prices to clothes that is being donated to them!! Hope this store ends up being closed down like they officially plan to. Full of racism here. read more

A true GEM to Haltom City- so many items at FAIR prices - and all the employees are happy to see their customers happy! :) thank you Araceli, Fernanda, Emily, Christina, Jackie and all the hard working folks in back! :) We love your store and love the support to much needed Leukemia cancer research read more

As a frequent thrifter, I'd give this 3 stars due to the absurd prices. Simple and non name brand items are overly priced. Some are even new with tags for less in that actual store. But I still do go because I like the hunt for things. I leave with something every time. Of course when I see it priced well. Customer service is pretty good here. Never had a problem. The ladies are nice and efficient in their job duties. I'd give it 5 stars if the prices were lowered. read more

This thrift store has lots of stuff--a great selection of clothes and household items. Great prices! I walked this store for over an hour. When you go, give yourself at least an hour to take it all in. read more

Great prices affordable for the whole family Great selection they grace sales and50 % off everything in store once a month

I have been going to this location for years. I also donated many items. On my last visit the prices has doubled. I don't understand why would you increase prices on items that were donated. Jeans $16 dollars really, no name brand, curtains $16.88 and many other items. People go to the thrift store to save money or that maybe all that we can afford. I really feel like this is messed up. read more

My favorite thrift store! Have been going here for almost a decade and I'm always so excited to see the new things they have out!

I went to the location off Denton hwy, ok well after getting home I checked my receipt and realized I was over charged by almost 10 bucks ( not much but 10 bucks is 10 bucks ) I called the store the very next day ( bc they were already closed ) was told the manager already left for the day which was between 1030-11am when I called l, anyways I was told to call the next morning so I did and the manger was there and I spoke to her about my issue!, and she asked me if I still had the receipt ? she needed to see it told her I could go up there now ( the time I called ) and she told me she was getting ready to leave but she would wait on me! great I will head up there thank u...so that's what I did I live maybe 4 miles away so I told her to give me 10-15 min and I'll be there ! so I get there and I was told she already left for the day! I was shocked bc I left right after I got off the phone with her! so I asked the lady at the counter if she could call her ? I was told "NO shes not feeling good I'm not gonna bother her "which she never mentioned and if I had known that I wouldn't have asked her to wait !anyways bc I know I will get no where with them so I contact corporate office get no where with them either ! I'm just gonna let this go but I don't recommend this place at all they can careless about there customers read more

I love this store. If you looking for a good find, this is it. I came in looking for 1 outfit for an outing and ended up buying 2 paid of jeans, several blouses and lots of shorts. I also bought a pair of shoes. The prices are great and they have tag sales every Monday and Thursday. Their clothing selection is so huge and you can tell they only put out the best selections. There are so many designer selections. I highly recommend Haltom Thrift. read more

Went in today to see if it was open and it turns out they had been open since May 1st. Anyways, they're taking precautions and wiping down surfaces where customers might have touched. When I went in, it was full of clothes and all types of things. Was a good day for me! Maybe try middle of the week for some sales. But this place is always packed with clothes. You'll always find some brand stuff. read more

Purchased two large chairs from this place. My car was too small to carry both of them. Asked store manager can I come back with my truck to pick them up. She said no! The owner did not allowed this! What I never heard of this before! I was able to get them in my car and made two trips. Will stick to Goodwill for now on! Thanks but no thanks! read more

Best thrift store in the metroplex! Great stuff for super low prices and like sale days every day it seems like. Would def check it out!

I found some good things, but one was missing a price. They refused to sell it to me because the person who does the price was not working. They were unable to look at a similar item and price accordingly. I left without purchasing anything because I was so annoyed. read more

I love going here! Yes, I love Monday's and Thursday's for the sales! My daughters and I love thrifting and this is by far the best one! Keep in mind...dressing rooms are close on sale days! Which is understandable! It's crazy, busy every time I go on sale days! read more

This is my favorite local thrift store. If you are looking for clothing, they have very good prices. If you go on Mondays and Thursdays, most tag colors are 50%, making many shirts just $1-$2 and bottoms about $2. (Do take note that the fitting rooms are closed on sale days). Best variety of: clothing, shoes, accessories, housewares, good toy/stuffed animal selection Less likely to find: large furniture The store is clean enough and fairly well organized. Give yourself time to browse, and you will find a lot of very nice brand name clothing for less than most thrift/resale shops. read more

I did great here this week! I was able to find 2 Ann Taylor Blazers, both in great condition and even Petite! I have a feeling my clothes twin must have donated her closet. Both were marked $3.77 and since it was Monday they were 50% off! Lots and lots of clothes I just didn't have time to look through this trip. There was definitely a lot of the normal thrift clothes options- the outdated pant suits and well worn cheap clothes but its just the luck of the draw and your time. Tips: *Monday & Thursday most colored tags are 50% off *Check the big boards (in English and Spanish) at the back store for the exceptions *Nicer purses are kept at the front behind the register *Lots of bedding/ drapes *Lacking in furniture or quality housewares read more

Always good finds here. Everything is pretty reasonably priced here too unlike some other thrift stores that have gotten full of themselves who will remain nameless. Things are more or less well organized. The only real complaint is it seems kids are let loose to go crazy on sale days, but that's not exactly the businesses fault. Check this place out, you're sure to find something you will love. read more

Nope, nope, nope. If the cashier decides she likes something you're purchasing, she will tell you they can't sell it to you and hoard it for herself. Ridiculous and shady. read more

This place is ridiculous. Showed up at 7 bc I needed pants for interview and the dressing room was closed. The store was open but the dressing room was closed. And apparently it's ok for a clothing store to not let you try on clothes for an hour before they close bc it's always been that way. Ok it's two doors down from a goodwill. Just go there. read more

Great prices, great clothes in all sizes BUT.... the day I went they weren't allowing anyone to use the dressing rooms?!!! I'm sorry that's just not going to work for me anyway. I can get the kiddos clothes like that. With adults especially women; you never know how things are going to fit also things look different on than they do on the hangers. I just like being able to try things on. read more

This is the best thrift store in the metroplex. I always find something to purchase and it's with little effort. I would encourage one to go on Monday and Thursdays because most color tags are 50% off and I assure you whatever you are looking for, you will find that and more! The Haltom Thrift on Alta Mesa is also a huge plus and the one on Grapevine Highway is more ideal kitchen stuff, not clothes. Nonetheless, make sure you visit and be prepared to be amazed. read more

This is my favorite thrift store in the area by far. Every Monday and Thursday, everything except one or two color tags are half off the already great low prices. Thrifting is a hobby of mine and I always find amazing things here. The thrill of the hunt is real here. Super friendly staff and overall clean and neat. read more

I keep thinking in my head. This must be where clothes come to DIE!! Well I would only hope that most of the clothing finds at the thrift store would die there, but I didn't actually come here to look through the clothes and I didn't look at the clothes. Nope! Not at all. Not even a peek. I came for one reason only to find two very specific books. I only found one and it looked like it had been chewed on by a dog or a teething baby. I actually considered buying it, but felt that there were enough thrift stores in Fort Worth that I should just move on to the next. Prices for Old books these days are just outrageous considering paper books are just about obsolete or mere novelty items these days $2.00 for a chewed on book without the sleeve is just outrageous. I definitely moved on To summarize. HALTOM THRIFT- WHERE CLOTHES GO TO DIE ALONG WITH YOUR HOPES AND DREAMS. sorry bout that last part just thought I'd throw that in there. read more

Sometimes you find a deal, but let me tell you how SCREWED UP this place is when it comes to something that has no price on it! I went in on a Wed. & wanted to buy this btl of perfume that didn't have a price; no price/no sale; so, I was told the lady who does the pricing would be there the next day but she leaves by 2pm; so, I go, and the lady who does the pricing tells me, "Sorry, we only price things on Mondays, so I can't put a price on this for you!" Talk about SCREWED UP!!!!!! I will NOT donate or shop there ANY MORE!!!!! read more
