This Goodwill can be a struggle to browse through, it's one of their more unorganized stores in the area. I don't expect a secondhand store to be pristine, but it seems you really have to dig here. Items are sort of haphazardly sorted into messy piles that you have to carefully peruse. You'll do your own rearranging! As a long time thrifter. Goodwill has gone down the drain when it comes to their price system. On many occasions that I've gone to browse, I see clothes overpriced. Because you can get them in stores for the same or cheaper BUT brand new. The miscellaneous stuff would be sold separately because some workers may not realize it's a set. I gave one star due to it being a thrift store and not affordable or reasonable for someone less fortunate to buy used items. read more

I have never been so insulted by a employee the way I just experienced at the goodwill in Hurst. I came to the goodwill today to drop off donations and the employees were pleasent and helpfu. I decide to go in to shop when I went to check out I asked how much these shoes were and the cashier accused me switching them with my ugg boots I was wearing. Which is absurd! So I told her to please review her security footage then she refused and said I'll just check you out. She was extremely ruded for no reason. I have never stolen anything in my life. I do not understand what her problem was? I'll never donate or shop here again. Hopefully she is just working off community service and it's not an actual employee. A decent place to walk around and explore what they have to offer. The clothing / goods can go from looking great (almost new at times) to horrible (like who would allow this on the rack), so the selection is spotty. I'm not going to lie and say that this is my girlfriends favorite place to go (as far as thrift stores go - she prefers the Thrift Town in North Richland Hills), but it's convenient when we're shopping at North East Mall or Mid-Cities Antique. Other then going here with my girlfriend, I typically donate my old clothing to this store (they have a Donation Station available), and that's pretty much my involvement with this location (I've never bought anything here personally, but that's just because I can't find anything I like). I do agree with Disirae B. about the furniture selection being pitiful. (Maybe about 6-7 pieces available the last time I went) So if you're into thrift stores (and in the area) then this is a good place to look around if you have the time to kill. read more

I shop here weekly and I have for 18 years. I personnally have made over 900 trips to this Goodwill on Pipeline Road in Hurst,TEXAS. I love the staff, the selection, and the prices. I dress out of this store. I have dressed my children, now grown, out of this store and now I shop for my grandchild here. I have redecorated my home out of this Goodwill store. Over my adult lifetime it has saved me over $80K off of NE Mall prices. They put out over a1,000 new items a day and I donate stuff everyweek too Plus I am recycling, reusing, and repurposing. My donations alone have kept a ton of trash out of landfills. One of the most trashed items in landfills is clothing. So please you can help a widow; or a middle class person with young children, or a student All ages can find affordable fashion and affordable, current modern styles at this Goodwill, on Pipeline Road, in Hurst, TEXAS. It is well organized, reasonably priced and very well run. I Love Yall staff and management Especially Ms. Dona. I do not go to the mall more than maybe once a year to the NE Mall. read more

Wow. This location has gone even further downhill. I can't adequately describe how messy and horribly disorganized it was. The pictures will give you some idea. Apparently they don't even try to sort or group items in categories anymore. They just throw everything into a pile or basket. A disgrace to thrift stores everywhere. read more

I sometimes like walking around there after I get off work just to unwind before I get home. I can read signs on the door to say they close at 7 o'clock. I walk in the door at 6:26, get informed by the lady behind the cash register that they close at 7 o'clock. I walked through the framed picture section to another clerk who informs me but they close at 7 o'clock, and finally the third clerk that I saw just wanted to do for me that they closed at 7 o'clock. At 6:45 I left without even walking through the rest of the building. They are more concerned about the time they close than the fact that they still had 30 minutes slope open for business. I usually come here 2-3 times during my visits to Texas. A few years ago- this was a deal finders paradise. The book store had probably 400-500 books, there was row after row of reasonably priced items. They also had a great discount card and such. Well... things have gone down hill a bit. The book store is gone and so are the rows of great items. If you dig, you can usually find something decent. I used to always buy bags of items- now I might buy 1-2 things. Hopefully things will recover soon (perhaps once everyone clears their items for the New Year???). read more

Looove goodwill, but I went in on 07/19/18 and the two lady's up front were completely unprofessional talking really loudly about their own personal issues. When I checked out I said "hello" I got a hi with no eye contact, not even a how are you. She snatched my clothes and threw them in the bag after ringing them up. The Good Will in Hurst is amazing and the people that work there are super awesome!!!!!! The mangers and the workers of Hurst Good Will really care about the Customers and the store!!! Now this store is the best store out of all the Good Wills!! People come here and spend your money!! Don't go to the Good Will store in Bedford!!! The manger Maria doesn't care about the customer she is at the Bedford Good Will!! The lady that price everything is all about money. U will see that Bedford Good Will price there stuff like it is new . A lot of there stuff doesn't!!!! But also they will cut the power off to the Power plugs .That store will catfish the customer. Also if they let the manger Maria go the store would have a better Atmosphere !!!!! She is Rude to customers and worker!!! She is a Big Bully that overwhelmed the workers and make that place a high style environment!!!! She is the New Hitler and no one in corporate office will stop her!!!!!!! This was my first time to shop at Goodwill. I am a great shopper and feel that I could have bought new pants and shirts for the same price at Macy's or Belks on their Clearance racks with a extra 50-75% off sale. I feel the clothes are overpriced, especially the very worn looking ones! The shoes were so bad they should have been free! Thank goodness I only needed something temporary. I will say that their glassware was reasonable as were the pictures. Next time I will bite the bullet and make a dreadful trip into the mall. The store was very clean and did not smell. The staff, if you could find anyone except the girls at checkout were ok. read more

This place is merely okay. And that's me being nice, unfortunately. I've been into it enough times to make an opinion about it. I know its a thrift store, but some are better than others. This one is crap. Even their new items are overpriced. I was just there and they had a few Dollar Tree type items for more than the dollar stores have them for! Like, hello??? I guess we're all supposed to act ignorant. I continue to go in whenever I'm out that way, but I would NEVER go out of my way for this place. (Disappointed) read more

Not as good as the location on Industrial. This store is much larger but the selection of furniture is usually pitiful. They are doing some remodeling here...not sure what the plan is, will be interesting to keep checking in and see what they're up to. They have a lot of clothes, but I never buy clothes, just home decor/furniture to fix up. The best way to shop at Goodwill is the Wednesday around the 15th - half off day...but beware...all those stay at home mothers and grannies are out in DROVES on that day. read more

The store was very clean; although the clothes selection wasn't very good I did manage to find some cute pieces...I bought a funky patterned ankle length skirt (their skirt selection was actually pretty good), their shoes were 25% off so I got a pair of black pumps for about $5. They do a color tag of the week and everything that color will be half off which is pretty cool! Will prob go once a week to browse! read more
