These weren't worn-out items. Many pieces were either unworn or in excellent condition. They called us back and said they decided not to take anything due to the "condition." Three full bags. All rejected. It was honestly a huge waste of time -- especially when you take the effort to carefully select higher-end, on-trend brands. Out of curiosity, we brought the exact same bags to Plato's Closet beforehand. They offered us over $200 for everything. So clearly, the "condition" wasn't the issue. Safe to say we'll be taking our business to Plato's Closet from now on. If you value your time and have quality brands, you might want to consider doing the same. Then they asked me if I wanted to donate my items. Why would I donate my items to a place that's going to turn around and sell them for an exorbitant profit. I think they were hoping that I wouldn't go back to pick up my items so they can make a profit off of me.

The clothes are not very organized but I go to a large thrift shop such as this with the expectation that I will be there digging for awhile. Indeed some of the items on the "new or name brand" rack are priced high but I view it like this; It is the owner's perogative to price it as she sees fit and I can choose not to buy the item so no problems as far as I see it. So I recommend this store. It is a good cause and you can find good deals, especially on sales days. And if you have a positive experience, make a point to post it here. I visit several Goodwill locations, and while this location probably has some of the highest prices in the area , it is still my favorite because of the employees Bila and Ethan make every visit a great experience. Their kindness and friendly attitudes really stand out.Goodwill is lucky to have employees like them! Best of all, the proceeds benefit local Goodwill Programs to help train and develop their clients for the workforce. I docked two stars because of customer service. I bought a pair of Uggs for my daughter and asked the agent checking us out if they could be returned, she said yes with the tags still attached and the receipt. We got home and my daughter found that the shade of grey on the Uggs wouldn't go with her clothes, so I called the store before I drove 40 minutes to check their hours that day. When I mentioned I was returning shoes the agent over the phone, Amanda, stated sharply I couldn't return the shoes, it's against store policy to return shoes or jewelry. Under any circumstances. However this is not posted in the store anywhere. When I told her another agent stated the opposite, she said the other agent must be new and she'll pass it along to management. She didn't ask what the agent looked like or when we were in so that seems like a blanket response. When I asked to speak with management, she stated no one was in but I could call or come in M-F and management would be in. It's not a big deal for a no shoe or jewelry return policy, but at least post it so people know. I wouldn't have bought my daughter the shoes if I had known. Now it's just $34 down the drain.
