As someone who thrift-hops across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, I can say with confidence that the Goodwill on Camp Bowie Blvd. is a standout. The team here is excellent--always kind, courteous, and willing to help. What sets this store apart is how clean and well-organized it is. Everything is sorted neatly, making the shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. I've found some great items here, and the prices make it easy to justify coming back again and again. This is a really large Goodwill location. I come here pretty frequently because the inventory changes daily. I have found some hidden gems! Like all Goodwills, the store is a little musty and grimey, but everything is well organized. There is plenty of room to sort through items on the racks. This store also has fitting rooms which is a huge selling point for me! The staff here are very polite and work efficiently. The pricing can be a little unreasonable, but if you search you can find good deals. I wouldn't make a special trip out to this store, but I do enjoy swinging by when I'm in the area. read more

Worst ever. I'll never donate to them again. Intake guy said he had too much to do to help unload 5 small boxes. OK. I proceeded to unload by myself. He then removed the box I put down to keep the door open (while unloading), forcing me to put a box down, open the door, pick up the box while holding the door open with my body. Very rude! I guess he doesn't realize his job depends on donations. read more

The workers here are fairly rude. I saw a beautiful vase that a worker was about to put out and asked if I could see it. I did not reach into the cart, but simply asked. She could have politely said "it's not GW policy" but that's not true. I have asked about an item before and the young man putting it away politely handed to me and I said "thank you." So I was surprised this time when the older woman meanly said "No!" And told me that I couldn't follow her either. She mumbled some more things and scuttled off to the work area. Weird and rude. I had another instance with a female manager who refused to hold a very large framed picture at the counter while I shopped. It would not fit in the cart. I know they do this, because I've seen it done before. My advice for this store is to avoid the mean older women! read more

This Goodwill seems very overpriced for items so it's not my jam BUT it usually has the best large furniture selection compared to others so there is that. It is always clean so that is also a bonus however I go to Goodwill to find cheap treasures not pay retail price for them which is why they are getting three stars. I tried to help him, but he insisted on doing the lifting while I stood there chatting with him! he had a great attitude and smile and was absolutely a delight to be around. A thrifter's dream. I've driven by this place a zillion times on my way home from work and never paid it any mind. But then in a strange twist of events, my mom started working around the corner from me and she's the thrift store queen. She had some cool item and when I asked her where she got it her reply was "the Goodwill on Camp Bowie". That's when I knew I had to pay it a visit. This Goodwill has great deals on clothing items, luggage, and even Keurigs. My mom and I have found no fewer than 4-5 perfectly operational Keurigs that people donated. You can ever find an outlet in the store and plug the Keurigs in to test them before making a purchase. I tested out a paper shredder a few months ago before purchasing it and that was probably the best item that I've bought from this location. While I'm not entirely paperless as of yet, I'm on my way thanks to Goodwill. read more

I went looking for a shelf. Found the shelf that I asked for help getting in my car. I didn't mind taking it to my car, just getting it in. The woman grabbed the bookshelf and dragged it loudly on one side ALL THE WAY OUTSISE very rudely. I offered to help, as she was being so rude about it. She didn't want my help, just said I intervened with her lunch and she put it in my car. I usually never ask for help with stuff, and I've never been back since. Thanks for treating my stuff like garbage. read more

I've been here several times and have never been that impressed. But today after perusing for a couple hours I was pleased. Left with 3 work tops, 2 cardigans, and two pairs of slacks, all items in excellent condition and really good brands--$30! I know I would have spent three times as much anywhere else. Found a cute burnt orange skirt that would go well with some leopard print shoes, 100% wool cream blazer and a Charles jourdan bag; I had no idea who he was but the bag was gorg, so I looked him up; found out his bags usually run $300+ so I pretty much stole the bag for $4!!! Their wares have gotten ridiculous... They seriously need to go look at what you can buy at Ross for less than they sell used stuff for. You can buy beautiful ornate frames at Ross for 4.99! Goodwill, that means your frames should be a buck Or two. The stores are also poorly organized and not near as clean as goodwills used to be. The racks are not shopable (the clothes is packed too tight leaving it hard to look through them). I've been going to goodwill for over 30 years and they are really going downhill. They raise their prices and they'll end up like Salvation Army did closing stores! read more

I go to this goodwill probably 4 to 6 times every week. They just recently re-organized and redid their space. It is very clean, neat and tidy. Everything is in order! Nothing jampacked. no need to dig for things. Great selection of clothing by size. Great handbags! And the housewares department is large with lots of cool great deals! Lots of nice furniture. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. The manager and I do not know her name is a complete doll she is so sweet and always so friendly. I highly recommend it read more
