I was chatting with our bartender and learned they have a full-service restaurant upstairs, so of course I had to head up for a little recon. As soon as I reached the top, I was warmly welcomed by the host and staff. I let them know I just wanted to check out the space. Upstairs had a completely different feel from downstairs. While the lower level had more of a laid-back, neighborhood bar atmosphere, the upstairs was bright, modern, and a bit more refined. I even noticed some outdoor seating, which we'll definitely have to try next time. One thing to note: the beer selection upstairs isn't as extensive as what's offered downstairs. Addendum May 2020: Their wine selection it turns out is super! Whoever picks the wines is amazing. The selection is well curated: diverse in terms of geography as well as varietals and well priced to boot ($15-$20/bottle on average). I'm always here, too.. not that I'm an alcoholic or anything, but I love a good bottle of wine and their wind selection is everything you want plus more! There are 2 other liquor stores close to this location and I rarely go there although, they're closer to my house. After a certain time of night, there's also a police officer in here for safety measures. It isn't in the best nor worst area, but the selection is so great you have to make the trip. I'll continue to shop here while the 2 owners still work here. They're so personable and friendly they make the experience that much better.
