This is my final straw. Second time that I've come here b4 10AM and the place is closed. They clearly don't respect the community that they're working in: 1. Never opens on time. It's now 10:20 AM. At least 5 ppl are waiting for 39 mins. Unacceptable. The start time is 10AM. If this was Valley Stream - they would open on time. 2. Rude customer service 3. Improper sanitary of tools The only reason people still give their $ to this underwhelming nail salon is the price. Even that is not worth the disrespect anymore. If you don't like black & brown people don't work in a diverse neighborhood. read more

The guy had no ideas how to file my nails, spoke no English and talked about me in his language. But was clear to repeat gel gel gel! Next I get to the hands, this girl just did my nails 2 weeks ago. She tells me you have on acrylic and know she charged me for gel which is more. Anyways so I'm like well just take all this off, this bold broad proceeds to snatch my hand and use a fake nail to scoop off the tips. I tell her like yo do not rough up my hands. She begins speaking her language, she sits in the chair when you walk in. Has no clue wtf she doin like most of em! You know how you go to a nail salon and quickly you see who the good ones are? This place not like that, it's a scramble and they're super rude and unprofessional and very unhygienic. I've been twice, first and LAST. They would not pull the shit they on wit white women. They save it for us and charge you extra. ALSO!!! Theft!! I'd rushed outta there leaving my own bottle of matte pink polish and these tight eye evil twits quickly put a number 53 and glued a fake nail on my nail polish! LOL!! Shorty did not want to look me in my face! I'm up the street so I'll always tell chicks go to Rumi!! Screw this establishment! They tried the right one. Update: I did go to my long time best nail tech, Rumi is just down the street between 233 n 234th. No crowding no rushing, speaks English is lovable I've known her over 20 yrs. read more

Worst nails ever at a ridiculous price. The person who was doing my nails had no clue what she was doing and I essentially had to explain way too much on a simple ombré which came out terrible in the end. The attached photos are less than a week from when it was done and I have three broken nails from literally doing nothing. These are the worst nails I have ever had and would give it a zero if I could. Please save your money and find and actual nail artist. read more

UPDATE: The best salon ever. My nails will literally be one month in a few days. No lifting, nothing. The nail salon I went to previously, my nails would've beeeen lifting!! (i lift heavy items at work) . I love it here. The only thing I don't like is their waxing service but I'm still giving 5 stars because I can wax elsewhere & Im VERY particular about how i like my brows waxed. read more

Update.. July 19,2019.. As I'm sitting here right now I'm having one of the worst experience ever. I'm not too sure if it's the heat but they all seem to have attitudes. From the pedicure, I asked to see the colors while my nail were soaking she piles the color "book" all on top of me. Didn't let me get balance. She couldn't get an ingrown toenail. Next it was time for me to do my SNS, the same sweet Sammie that has done my nails had an attitude when he tried to explain my nails were too short for stiletto. Then he talks and laughs with the Nail tech that's doing my nails. All their professionalism went out the window today. Maybe because they got comfortable with me idk. But today WAS NOT IT‼ So I decided to leave my old nail salon that I've been with for 10years. I found this nail salon off of Instagram. I saw they had designs that were more up to date, and modern. So I decided to give them a try Feb2019. How I wish I found this place earlier!!! Let's start how CLEAN this place is! I'm a Virgo so I observe and critique everything! Staff members are very professional. They don't talk much unless spoken too, I never saw a tv on, or music which is fine by me! The tech I choose the 3 times I've been is Sammie. He's so amazing! I've already sent one of my gfs here, and my sister and they are happy with both nails, and feet! They both had different techs so I know for sure all of them are great! I'm so glad I made this choice! Prices are average. Well worth the change of salons! This is read more

Love my nail tech Kevin. I show him a pic of what I want done and he nails it everytime. But baby those peeps in the back that do your feet are absolutely horrible. I actually walked out bleeding from a pedi. Looking for a new spot read more

I went into this salon Sunday evening well before closing to get a pedicure and fill in. The pedicure was amazing however my experience with my full in had lead me to leave this horrible review. First off they failed to explain that they didn't have a matching acrylic as the acrylic I had was a nude pink. After poorly shaping my nails the tech then stated that they only have clear acThe man doing my nails was very unpleasant as if he didn't want to be working. I chucked that up to maybe him having a poor day. He was extremely rough and continuously gripped my fingers with his nail (which sadly looked weird). YES I said something but my pedicure bliss had me in good spirits so I didn't want to complain. That was until this man cut my finger being extremely rough while supposedly cutting my cuticles. I mean a deep BLEEDING cut! I then refused to sit at his table any longer. This horrible tech didn't even attempt to apologize or even acknowledge the fact that he cut my finger. The other techs didn't bother to offer any service until I began to ask for assistance. Eventually another tech (who was thankfully way more pleasant, well versed in customer service and apologetic) called me over. This woman added some sort of protectant to the cut to stop the bleeding and finished my nails (wish she would've done the entire set). And with the money spent and no discounts offered due to the experience it's unacceptable that I have a chip in my pedicures nail polish only 4 days later. Horrible experience. I have a horrible cut but thankfully it is healing very well and the shaping from the finishing tech was okay. Just go somewhere else. read more

I really liked the way Halo nail spa did my nails. I soaked off my set and got my natural nails done (gel manicure). I loved it. They shaped my nails really nicely. The pedicure was fine I got the basic one and the polish has lasted (it's been two weeks). Just remember you need hot water in the bottom bowl of the acetone that they give you to soak your nails in. You also need oil on your cuticles, your hands, and the palm of your hands to protect your skin. They will just give you a bowl of acetone like that and you'll be sitting there for hours soaking your nails. You need the hot water to warm up the acetone in order for the acrylic to come off. read more

2 weeks later the hard gel is still holding on...no cracks, breaks or lifting. But the bigger rhinestone did fall off on each nail. I think they were secured with more gel instead of nail glue. Just a star off (should be half) for the rhinestone falling off. Again, my spa pedicure was great but the polish on my toes are almost completely gone. Will go with gel next time. read more

They take cards, and charge a fee based on your total. They're clean and use disposable liners for the pedicure. This was my first time here and I had a professional experience. Halo nail spa - Mermaid nails!- Glitter embedded acrylic on four fingers, holographic design in the ring finger - Nail Salons Near Me - Laurelton, New York

Today was my fourth visit to this salon. The first two times were great. The girl at the third chair on the left did a great job. Gave me a beautiful shape. I was so excited that I finally found a new salon. The third time, a dude did my nails, he was rude but still did a great job. Today was a disaster and I wont be returning. The girl who did my pedicure could not shape to save her life. I told her I wanted round twice. I still ended up with square. She starts on my dip manicure. I told her I want to keep my shape. She ruins the shape. How? And why? I told her to leave the shape alone. At the end, she charges me more money because I didnt change my shape to square. WTH. If I have a shape already and told you to leave it alone why am I being charged not to change that shape to square. Same chick who did my nails the first two times was trying to justify how it made sense. read more

Absolutely terrible!! Rushed service, skipping steps, and puncturing the skin. For a simple mani pedi! Will never go there again.

*They allow you to pay AND tip on credit card, but they will charge a fee if you're not paying cash. *They use disposable liners for pedicures! *Poor cell service from the pedicure chairs, but the free WiFi & password is posted right on the wall. This has become my semi-regular place recently (I'm still slightly holding on to old faithful). I've been here about 4 times, all different days if the week and times of day and have yet to have a bad experience. I'm a stickler for cleanliness so the fact that they use disposable liners for pedicures is a must. I always do the spa pedicure which includes a leg mask, foot soak, 10 minute massage, paraffin treatment and callous removal. I do wish they used a timer for the massage, because depending on who you get they may slack a bit. My nails always come out beautiful, the polish isn't thinned out and the gel always lasts. The pricing is a bit better than my usual place which is in Long Island but the ambiance is less spa-like; it's what you would expect in Queens so it doesn't bother me. I've come here at opening on a Saturday once and the ladies waiting with me were all polite in letting them know the order of arrival, which is more than I can say for some places so I appreciated that. Overall, I'd definitely recommend. read more

Update from my last visit. Today was my second time coming here, I went in for a fill in and a pedicure. Karen, again did my nails. She was quick and neat. I did regular polish with gel top coat which is cheaper and equivalent to getting gel polish. My pedicure was ok. I forgot to ask the man his name. I got a neon pink color and for whatever reason he was being real skimp with applying the polish. Twice he had to take the polish off my big toes and re-apply because he'd put too much. I'm not sure if I'll be going back there for my pedicures. read more

Nails work is detailed and lasting. My sisters and I walked in and were able to be taken care of almost immediately.
