But what really makes this place special is their mission. They hire individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively invest in the community -- from vendor markets to hosting events like their upcoming 5K. You can feel that purpose woven into everything they do. We tried one of their themed drink flights (the Sweet Heart menu was adorable -- Love Potion, Love Struck, To The Moon & Back... so cute). The presentation in the little mason jars was fun and picture-worthy. Flavor-wise, they leaned sweeter than my personal preference, but still enjoyable and perfect if you love flavored lattes. They offer plenty of milk options, including non-dairy, which I appreciate. Bakery - vegan and gluten-free options clearly labeled. I grabbed the lemon scone (vegan + GF). It was good! I'm personally more of a vegan-but-not-gluten-free girl, so texture-wise it's not something I'd specifically crave again -- but I absolutely appreciate that they create inclusive options. My friend had the cinnamon roll and was happy. They also have a small retail section with mugs, shirts, local honey, and little gift items, which adds to the community feel. Overall, this isn't a hyper-trendy, third-wave coffee aesthetic spot -- it's something better. It's purpose-driven, inclusive, and clearly loved by the neighborhood. Not a five-star flavor experience for me personally, but an easy four stars for what they stand for and the impact they're making.

Today I walked in and was greeted by Chey. (Hopefully spelled it right) She was so friendly and we got to talk quite a bit. She stated the shop's been here for about a year . I don't know how I missed it, but I'll be back often now that I know. I told her my love of cold brew and she offered me a sample of both their regular and Nitro. She said the Nitro has said to be liked more by their customers. I agree. It was so smooth. The regular had a tiny acidity to it, but not bad. Her customer service was awesome. I ordered one with vanilla cold foam and a tad sf vanilla. They only offer one size in drinks. I also went opposite of my usual and ordered a French Toast shaken espresso iced. It's one of theocmost popular. You only live once and I know I'll be amped all day ha ha. I then ordered an iced vanilla chai to take to my niece. The shop is small but offers a cozy room to chill, a few seats near the register as well as a table and a few seats out front. There is a fuel lot next door to park, but also a couple paved including a handicap accessible spot. All the drinks were so good. I honestly think the shake espresso may be my new favorite drink. I never thought I'd steal away from my cold brew, but it's got me hooked already. Come show them some love. Supporting local is so important and brings so much back to the community.

The big garage door was open. It seemed fairly busy. I would say it took about six or seven minutes to get my coffee and my yummy pop tart type of pastry. I did just a regular drip coffee. It was quite smooth and tasty. I would definitely recommend. The toaster pastry was a blackberry raspberry combo and of course I got it warmed up and it was absolutely delicious. I visit Phoenix area frequently and I've seen these popped up all over. I'm so glad I was able to stop. Try it. Enjoy it and I'll definitely stop again the next time I'm in town.

What I dont understand is why I got attitude from some little kid because hes having a bad day. I Just started trying black rock a few months back and I wont be back.
