I only buy my costumes from them. The owner is very nice, and if you don't see what you're looking for you can request it. The prices are right, and I enjoy helping this small business. I always get compliments on my costume and I've worn the same one for 4yrs! My kids get new ones every year and i always need to get more contacts and face paint yearly too. Another thing I've noticed, the no smudge face paint tubes from Spirit burn on my skin but Halloween planets does not luckily. So that's also a nice bonus read more

Staff was ok. I came in wanting to return a costume my daughter didn't use, open or even try on. Paid $40 but didn't get a clear "return policy" also they don't have a "all sales final" sign. Which legally they should. Horrible honestly. I ended up hand making a costume which was time consuming but to avoid the hassle with this store it's worth it. Do better please. Will no longer be recommending this store during season. read more

This place is organized, clean, and the employees are helpful. I was greeted almost immediately after I walked in and informed that they still had a lot of inventory coming and that if I would like the dressing rooms were available. The selection was vast as were the sizes. They even informed me if they didn't have what I was looking for, they could get my information and what I was looking for so that if and when it arrives they'll give me a call. read more

I stumbled upon this store on October 30th. I was asked last minute by my kids school to do a trunk for trunk or treat. I needed an air filled dinosaur costume and had been unsuccessful all day. I walked into this store and couldn't find the costume. As I was about to walk out, I made contact with Paul. I quickly asked him for what I was looking for. Explained to him the last minute request from my kids school. Paul was not only a huge help but so kind and patient with us. This place gave great customer service and had quality products. I highly recommend this store and staff! Thank you Paul for all your help. Paul had one last dinosaur left and although it was slightly damaged we made it work for our event. HALLOWEEN PLANET. This is Halloween Planet, not Halloween Express as the Yelp business name initially stated. Anyway, this is a pretty big sized store with lots of cool decorations and accessories as well as nice costume options. I love that they have a fitting room to try on the costumes! Good selection of high quality masks and I like how the props/decorations are set up almost like a maze so you feel a little lost in all the scary stuff. Clap and the electronic props come to life. I stopped in last night and browsed for a bit. I enjoyed my visit. Staff were present and easily available, but did not bother me or follow me around. read more

Walked in and immediately the energy was horrid. Everything is horribly priced first off, and if it's anywhere near a decent price, it looks like its already falling apart. I found two things i liked, and was actually going to buy for my costume. I kept browsing and for some reason this woman employee kept stalking me like an aggressive ankle biting chihuahua. I immediately felt targeted and accused. She kept close watch on me and at this point i was freaked out so i called my mom to come out of the car and into the store. I had put one of the items i was carrying down next to me because i wanted to get out of this shit store as soon as possible, when she comes over and asks "where did that other accessory you were holding go? Is it over there?" as she pointed to the opposite isle. At this point i was so annoyed i just decided to go along with it and i said "yeah it is!" I wanted to leave this shitshow anyways. She seemed to have gossiped with all her little employee friends because at this point they were all staring creepily at me! I was waiting for my mom to come in and help me confront them about this unprofessionalism but i was so sick of this woman i took my other item back to its place and walked out. After i told my mom she was so pissed and wanted to go back in but i wasn't gonna make a big deal about it. I just figured i'd leave a review about your lovely employee and store! read more

Manager was a jerk! Here's why, we had them hold an item while we looked for more stuff. Go up to pay and tell them I have something on hold, they say what did it look like, after explaining what it was cashier says oh I think someone else bought it! He took my name down but sold it? So I then ask for the manager, he tells me I can't do anything for you. I said really, that's all you can tell me? Not a let me look for it or let me call another store, or let me take your name and number if it comes up or have an extra one. He said to me "I'm not in the mood, it sold sorry! " I told him his mood isn't my concern I'm a paying customer, left my other stuff at the register and walked out. Do not recommend this place to anyone!!!! Unbelievable how careless that man was. While the store has an ok selection of costumes, the overall atmosphere with the staff isn't so great. They are so overly cautious of thieves that they lack the friendliness and genuine customer service. You get the feeling that you're being followed and the feeling like you're doing something wrong when you're not, which makes for a pretty uncomfortable experience. While at check-out, the two employees were trying to covertly discuss whether both were able to take a glance in my purse to ensure that i didn't attempt to steal anything. However, I was right in front of them and fully aware of what they were talking about- very rude. They make you feel like a criminal as soon as you walk through the door, especially if you are like many other women who carry a purse wherever you go. read more

Horrible service. They held a mask at the counter and sold it while I was shopping. And we talked to manager and he said oh well. Must have sold. This place is horrible. Never will I come back. My child wanted to try on a few costumes. We waited in line at the fitting room. The girl explained to me that you could only have two costumes past the line at all times. I asked her if she could hang the extras up on the hooks and we could switch out as my child tried the costumes on. She told me no and asked me to step out with the extra costumes. I asked if there was a place to set them so I could go back with my child and she told me no and I couldn't go back with them. That I needed to wait for my child to put the costume on and come out to show me. That was fine with me. My child chose the first two to try on and went back so I stepped back behind the line. While all of this was going on another rude worker comes in and insisted on repeating what the other girl had told me over and over. I looked at her and told her I didn't need the instructions repeated to me because I wasn't stupid. She got a very nasty attitude with me for no reason. She was a young nasty girl with a very bad attitude on some power trip. When my child went back and I stepped out to wait, she quickly followed behind me with a ladder in her hand, still running her damn mouth. Once I was behind the line she whipped around to put the chain up (another power trip move, totally unnecessary... there was no one else around) and she HIT ME WITH THE LADDER!!! I was livid by now and asked her if that was necessary, she looked at me and said maybe or maybe it was an accident. Either way, she could have apologized and never did. I continued to wait for my child but I was so upset I was shaking. A few minutes later she walked back by and told me she could get her manager. I said that would be great. They both came back about 5 minutes later. The manager asked me what happened and I told him. I also told him how nice and professional the fitting room girl was. He apologized for what happened and told me he was going to talk to the other girl. A few minutes later he came back over to where I was and let me know he talked to her and sent her home for the day and told me he was going to give me a discount for the trouble. I thanked him. He handled the situation appropriately and I appreciate that. My child chose their costume and we purchased it and left. I don't think we will be repeat customers, but I'm glad the situation was handled. I don't know who raised that girl but she needs a total attitude adjustment and needs to learn some respect. I would be embarrassed if my child acted like that, at any age. I hope she learned her lesson. There is no reason to treat others so ugly, it just makes you look like an ugly nasty person. Hopefully no other customers have to deal with such ugliness in that store!!!! read more
