The Cod was identifiable and flaky. This time they looked like Gordon's fish sticks! I would much rather spend a few more bucks on a good meal rather than have standards fall. My wife was very disappointed! I had the French Dip Steak Sandwich. My food was fine. I had a long island iced tea for my drink, liked it and it was not too weak. Took 30 minutes to get us 2 drinks, while the bar staff relaxed and drank (beer??) In front of us. I don't know if it's customary as well, they didn't offer or bring any water for 40 minutes. When asked several times, the bartender/ manager seemed to ignore us. Tables seated after us were served first. Also noticed many customers starting at us. I don't know if it's because my friend was the only nonwhite patron or my other friend dressed as a witch (lol)? If you support Blue Lives Matter, this is the establishment for you. Great place to hang out and have a great time! The food is great and their wings are delicious! This is a really fun place with great service. Our server Sarah was awesome! When we first visited this place it was her first day working here. We were really surprised since she was so great! When we recently went back she was our server again. She remembered us and was just as awesome as the first time we met her. This is one place you can go and just have a really great time with really good food, and they don't rush you out. You can hang out watch the games and talk as long as you want with your friends. I recommend this place when you visit Warwick. Had a great dinner experience the first time a couple of weeks ago. Back a 2nd time for dinner and we were immediately seated. Waited 20 minutes and not a single person ever came to the table. We were seated at a table next to the server's register and clearly visible to the many servers. Walked out and let the bartender know. So far everything we've tried here taste great our waiter Chris was very attentive and personable. We had chicken wings and Artichoke for appetizer. Place only gets 3 stars because I have had good food from here in the past. However today was only 1 Star at best. Our service was absolutely terrible. Upon arrival we were seated quickly as the place was only at 50 percent capacity. This is when the experience turned for the worst. After 5 minutes the hostess came back and asked if we were greted by a server yet? No we were not. The hostess quickly rectified the situation. The server was terrible. Food was good. 3.5 out of 5. What we expected. However it was quite obvious all the servers had no intentions of great service. They stood at the end of the bar just talking to the bartender. At all times the end of the bar had at least 3 to 5 employees just standing and talking. After we received our food our server did stop by 1 time to ask us about the food a long after it was droped of by kitchen staff. Then never again. We wanted to see desert menus but was never asked if we needed anything else. We sat waiting for a good 20 minutes with no server insight. I became quite anxious looking for anyone to get their attention however they were quite involved in conversation with co-workers. What can I say? The employees at halligans all are so welcoming. They're extremely friendly, service is prompt and efficient. The food is typical bar food and always hits the spot. My personal favorites are the wings, mahi mahi tacos, and Orlando's Chicken Sandwich. You also can never go wrong w their large, juicy burgers. During the day it is a perfect place to chill out and grab a bite to eat. Once night time approaches, it is the most popular bar in Warwick. A real Irish pub. Always a perfect pour of Guinness and they'll make you a mean Black and Tan. Great snacks, great apps and a mean burger on a nice piece of focaccia (they put hot sauce on the cubano by default, which I think is ballsy, but I've yet to try it). Literally the only place in Warwick that I've eaten at that has not been a disappointment. They could lower the lights though. Looking at myself in the mirrored bar with a michelada 3PM on a Monday isn't something I want to see under fluorescent light. read more

We ordered a bunch of apps for a late lunch here. The service was very friendly and they were all delicious. The eggplant meatballs were great. You won't even miss the meat. The calamari was yummy, mixed in with some fried cherry peppers. The blackened salmon tacos were a nice light option and the steak frites was a filling huge portion. Short answer ? NOPE. We excused the long wait to eat inside due to covid so I'll never rate a business solely due to these new regulations but this place is nasty , it's dirty and sticky and really all you gotta do is sit in the front 2 booths to realize your in for a shitty meal. We were turned away at an earlier restaurant in Greenwood Lake because of a 90 min wait so we drove further into madness and ended up here at 8:30 pm for an anniversary dinner , we felt like Steve Martin and John Candy in Planes trains and automobiles... we were stuck .. I never knew Warwick became a douche chill after dark on the strip there but keep in mind I like dive bars and we chose this spot due to a parking spot at their corner. When seated we had a sticky table and noticed after closer look it's dusty as hell on the ceiling fans and walls by the TV screens but we were hungry and needed to eat and had no time to Bitch, The Rueben quesadilla was awful i think the sauerkraut was sour or cheap sour cheese I really couldn't tell but we both were grossed out by it and didn't finish i then ordered a rib eye steak that was maybe a half inch thick or less that's a no no man! You can't cook a steak that thin med rare and it was laughable, I give the 2 stars for the filet Mignon sliders my wife got which tasted quite good and I do notice they have a regular local crowd there so it had a cool local vibe but damn that food is forgettable and i won't ever go there again, I left a 30% tip as usual the wait staff was good and all but if the owner reads this they gotta inspect the kitchen products and quality . Not too sure about food because i have not had it in years but its a good, popular bar thats always on the list of stops if you're drinking in Warwick. Food was just at the "not horrible" phase. We ordered the artichoke oregenata as an appetizer to start. These were canned artichokes wilted and drowning in a swamp of butter. We had the Ruben Sandwich and Mahi Mahi tacos. Both just ok but would not order them again. Wife and I have a feeling the food is much better if you are hammered like most of the people were at the time. A very loud and rowdy environment. One very drunk guy at the bar making a scene and yelling expletives the entire time and fell off his stool not once but twice. Staff seemed too scared to deal with him. This was a Tuesday night folks. Can't imagine how much worse it would be on a Saturday. We have given this place a couple of chances in the last 5 years. It's only gotten worse. Not sure why it's open still. Maybe they have enough regulars to keep them afloat. Seems like a great place to get drunk and loud, but not a good vibe overall. read more

Great place! Came here without a reservation (whoops) with 15 people. They instantly shuffled tables around and got us sat. They took our drink orders fast and the drinks came out quick. We ordered the irish nachos and poutine to start with. Those came out fast as well and were good. The burgers come on a ciabatta bun, not my favorite thing but not bad. All in all the food was good for pub food, but the service was what was great. All of the staff was very pleasant and attentive. Kristine Buonanno is the best. My parents have been to Halligans a bunch of times and wanted to take my husband and I (we're from Philly). We loved it. The serving sizes are generous, the French onion soup is TASTY, and appetizers were phenomenal. The chef is great. Kristine was our server and SUCH a doll.
