Halina's cleaning staff has been excellent for a long time. Recent service was not up to Halina's standards. Several cleaning opportunities were overlooked or missed. Coupled with the 45-minute arrival delay with no apology from the cleaning lady, it was very disappointing. Must have been an off-day. read more

We first hired Halina's Enterprises to clean our house before moving in. The two ladies that came did a very nice job at a reasonable price for the size of the house. Since we were happy with the results, we decided to use Halina's services more regularly. Anna comes to our house every other week now and we are always happy with the result. We have had Halina's cleaning for just over a year now so I thought it was time to post a review. We have our house cleaned every other week. Not only is our house spotless when I come home, but it is also the little extra things that Grace does that makes me smile throughout the house we are not home when they come and have 100% trust. I have had various cleaning services in the last 20 years and have found Halina's to be the best yet. I like that I get just 1 person (not a crew of 3 like the last service) as it is a little overwhelming having that many strangers in my home, as I work out of my house. The previous service had a crew that was always different and I didn't even know their names, nor would they introduce themselves.. Anna and Monica (the only two women I have had in the last six months) are thorough, polite and do a good job. I especially appreciate how the glass walls in the shower stall are free of the hard water mineral stains and everything is clean and placed back in the spot they came from. I would totally ignore the people who gave them a negative review. People know how to complain but they do not say positives at all when something good happens. My guess is it's the competition. Anyway, I cannot say enough good things about Halina's. I hired them to clean the place I was moving into and the one I moved out of. They did such a good job. They were early, polite and completely professional. They did the windows of the place I moved into, cleaned all the light fixtures (which were FILTHY) and everything was shiny clean. We used Halinas cleaning service for years and then moved and once got settled in our new home I thought we were too far for them to travel to so after trying at least a dozen other services I called Halina and much to my surprise she said they would service Pingree Grove. We have them come out every other week and I have zero complaints, my house is always dusted, vacuumed, my beds are made, my wood floors are washed and my bathrooms are cleaned. My appliances are clean and streak free when she leaves and I can come home to a clean house. I am very happy with the cleaning service I receive. read more

I was shocked to see these reviews are so old! I have a lady from Halina's that's been cleaning my house for going on four years. It sparkles every time she leaves. Of course I only expect "normal" cleaning. I've had 2 services before this one and they were so expensive and did the same work except they washed my kitchen floor on their knees. Halina's is very reasonable. As to customer service, I had a substitute once and she wasn't on a par with my normal cleaner and when I called to complain Halina's sent another girl to redo my house at no charge. I've never expected my windows to be cleaned regularly and any time I've asked for a specific task to be done my cleaner has been happy to do it. I'm very happy with this service. read more

We hired them for 5 hous of cleaning. When we came home the house was worse than when we left in the morning they put a hole in our carpet, knocked a picture off the wall, and barely cleaned anything. Do not hire them, there are pleanty of cleaning companies with good reviews. read more

The worst experience of my life!! I decided to treat myself to a cleaning service, felt I deserved a break... So I called Halina's. I should have known I was making a mistake the moment my cleaning woman arrived (15 minutes late I might add). She was too nicely dressed for cleaning, with long fake nails, tiffany's charm bracelets, a number of rings and other gaudy jewelry, etc... But I was open minded and excited to drop the weight of house work so I neglected my better judgment! Boy am I kicking my self in the ass now!! First and for most my house was cleaned terribly basically wiped down but nothing was really cleaned, floors spotty, things left un dusted, and rugs left un- vacuumed, but I was willing to look past that and and say do a better job next time, until I realized my roll out cabinet garbage can was busted. So I looked for a note or voicemail explanation, but there wasn't one.. Humm that's pretty un professional, guess I'll give Halina a call. She assured me if I had her lady out again she would do better work next time, and she would pay to fix the garbage. But I wasn't ok with trusting her in my house again so declined her offer and just asked to have the garbage can paid for, Halina said no problem I'll send u your money (85$). A day goes by and my husband and I decide to sit down and watch a movie on our brand new 5 day old just professionally installed 64" LED tv, when my husband says what's that? OMG a huge 11" scratch across the screen of our brand new tv!!!! So again I call Halina the owner of the company ready to cry I explain the situation, she tells me she wants to see this scratch and broken garbage and she wants to come over, so we set up an appointment. The next morning she cashes my check and misses my apt. So I've left repeated messages to no avail.. I've sent receipts for the broken garbage, and messages regarding the scratch and nothing, no calls back, no messages absolutely nothing. So here I am out 90$ for the worst cleaning job ever, 85$ for a broken garbage can, and a scratched 4000$ tv. Thanks Halina's Enterprises! read more

I have been using Halina's Cleaning Service for almost 13 years now. Out of the past 13 years I have had the same woman come clean my house every other week. Her name is Margaret. She is on time, always shows up with a smile on her face, and is ready to work. My house is no easy task to clean and she works very hard. I am so comfortable with her that many times I leave the house so that she can clean without my kids running around. I love having her and working with Halina. They have always been very accomodating. I would recommend this company and think they are very affordable. read more

I'm so glad I found Halina's. I have been looking for a cleaning service for ages! I was tired of coming home to a dirty house. I work full time, have two kids, so you can imagine that I needed a lot of help, and spending the weekend cleaning never sounds appealing. I called all the services around, even had some of them clean for a short while. I couldn't commit to any of them. Maybe because I'm demanding, or maybe they just weren't good enough. Halina was referred to me by a friend, and I have been happy since the first time the cleaning lady came. I'm kicking myself for not finding them sooner! They did an amazing job, my house looks transformed and reminds me of when we first moved in. Every nook and corner was cleaned, and I'm so relieved every time I come home. I can play with my kids, sit on the couch and relax, knowing my house is clean. The service is very flexible any time I need to reschedule last minute. I should have read the reviews better because I would not have used this service. I was very disappointed in my deep cleaning. I paid $180 plus left a tip for service that was literally a wipe down service. There was NO deep cleaning involved. She half dusted, I had to continue to tell her to get dust bunnies in different areas of the room. She refused to move light items and chose to vacuum around them instead. When she vacuumed in my daughters room, who I will admit, has lots of little knick knacks, she just vacuumed any items up on the floor. I had to run upstairs when I heard my vacuum cleaner sound like it was sucking up marbles. She didn't make any of the beds. My guest room was virtually untouched. She didn't clean the windows in any of the bedrooms and didn't finish the job at all. She was worried about getting home. I told her just be done by 2 p.m. and leave. The only thing I can credit the cleaning woman for was cleaning the windows downstairs, the mirrors and the bathrooms were pretty clean. She chose not to sweep before she mopped and used a Swiffer mop to clean the floors despite me providing a mop. And she never changed the water that she used to clean the bathroom and proceeded to use it in my kitchen and family room. I could go on and on about the poor service but I won't. I will NEVER use this service again. I caution others to be very careful before they choose this service and should seriously consider the reviews as I did not. Find another cleaning service. I have never had Halinas clean our home, but I am very disappointed with the experience I had when a flier was left on our doorstep this morning. I was in my front room and heard someone wriggling the doorknob to our front door. I immediately yelled, "Who is it?" and then saw a person's head pop up in the window in our front door - but no response. I then looked out our front window to see someone walking around the side of my house. Paranoid that someone was trying to break into my home, I looked out a few more windows but didn't see anything. I then looked out at the front of my house again and saw the man walking down the street, holding fliers. I opened my front door and saw a flier for Halinas left on our doorstep. I checked and our neighbors all had fliers on their doors as well. I assume that when I saw him walk around the side of my house, he was taking a shortcut to my neighbor's front door. I am not sure why the Halinas representative tried to open my front door if he was just leaving a flier, but it's very inappropriate and sketchy. I called the number on the flyer and told the woman who answered about my experience - and her response was to assure me that the man out delivering fliers today has worked there for years and "was definitely not trying to break into my home." I told her that I don't care how long he's been working there - he was trying to open my front door. She said maybe he was trying to put the flier in between the door and the doorjamb - but he was trying to turn the doorknob for several seconds, which is way longer than it would take to try to slip a flier in somewhere. Bottom line - this company is sketchy. I would never consider using them in my home and would recommend anyone considering them look elsewhere. I wouldn't trust them. read more

if i could give no stars I would. I reget giving Halinas my business AGAIN yes 2 times. I never actually had an issue with the lady that cleaned my house. I liked her so much that I started sending my dog to daycare the day shes in my house. She was scared of dogs. Its the stubborn women how runs/owns this enterprise. my 9 year old has better customer service then she does. I contacted her to find out why my cleaning lady hasn't been to my house yet. she told me its my fault for not contacting her to see how everyone is doing after the storm we had. I proceeded to tell her that sorry but I was at work yesterday so why is this my problem to check on your enterprise. If it was my business I would contact the customer and let them know that there will be a one day delay due to the weather. I work in customer in customer service and so does my wife. We have been treated like this now twice by her. She tells me that theres a lot of services out there to clean the house. well I'm glad shes making decisions for her cleaning ladys. I am extremely dissappointed with Halina's customer service and cleaning. There were 2 persons sent for cleaning and there were several occassions I had t point out that they had not cleaned properly. I am not a finicky person but the dust on the blinds, the dirt on the bathroom tiles and other place were just too evident. The kitchen counter was not cleaned and the garbage was not thrown out till I pointed it out to them. They completely avoided cleaning some areas. They were there for an hour and half with a 15 minute break in between which is a short time for cleaning my home since generally cleaners take approximately 3-4 hours. After a shoty job like this they demanded $20 extra which was shocking!. I have been their customer for 4 years and the owner did not have a prior discussion about this before. Firstly, the job done was unsatisfactory and an extra $20? Outrageous! Later spoke to Halina and she demanded the same amount and refused to listen to me. Extremely dissappointed with their customer service and will have to let them go. I am sure with this attitude they will have a hard time retaining any of their clients. read more

Starting out everything was great, Halina herself came out & quoted me $50 to clean the house. She sent a lady every other week. Some times they wouldn't show or come late. No big deal. A new girl came to clean & didn't clean either bathroom. I called Halina & she offered to send someone out to clean again-I said no b/c I was leaving out of town. I called her again about the previous cleaning or lack of, and she became very RUDE! I was just looking for a few dollars off of my next cleaning. She said they do the best they can & that I was never happy with their cleaning. I said "So, it is acceptable for the girl not clean the bathrooms", I even referred peoplel to her. She told me I could call them & complain to them about her services. I was dumbfounded by how this woman was conducting her business. She went on to say that $50 wasn't enough money to clean my house, I replied "You were the one who quoted me the $50". Uhgg! I recommend going elsewhere for your cleaning services! read more
