However, since I was home sick, my husband checked their work once completed. He wasn't satisfied with a few things and thought they weren't as thorough as you could have been. The kitchen floor was still dirty in front of the kitchen door and all he did was take a wet paper towel and clean it up. They did mention the kitchen floor being a laminate was difficult it is to clean, but on the other hand, clean water without a chemical and a paper towel did the job. Same thing with the kitchen counter - there was sticky residue from an adhesive countertop paper the tenant had used and my husband had to clean it off the edges. Crystal Klear did get the top stickiness off but didn't it go around to the edge to remove it. My husband cleaned that as well. Also splattered paint that was on the baseboards and also the toilet from the painter weren't addressed, and my husband just picked off the drips with his fingernail to clean it away. One more thing, there was a label on the tank part of a toilet that wasn't removed and just left there. Although specifically not mentioned in my directives, I would think that they would take that off when they cleaned. When I received an email asking how they did, I replied with everything above and I never received a response in return. Very disappointing that the communication was excellent before the job, but when I pointed out things after they were done, dead silence. I don't think I would use them again. Although our investment properties in Oswego are on the older side, I still expect attention to detail with a cleaning service to get the place ready for a new tenant.

The stars are for the great customer service, however, the cleaning people except one was not good…read more The first time I hired Kleanguru was to clean out my rental and told them it was a move out cleaning and there was only two bathrooms to clean plus a small kitchen and mop floors (only entry and going to laundry room and the kitchen) a very small space. I told them the place was just painted so no dusting required and carpet was cleaned professionally and that didn't need vacuuming either. The job was supposed to take 3-4 hours but it needed an additional hour to hour and half for her to finish everything. I will say the cleaner was a nice lady and didn't speak English well but funny how they understood some things and not the others! After almost 5 1/2 hours the place was still not cleaned thoroughly as you would do a move out! I let the customer service know and they sent a very capable lady to finish the mopping and cleaning of the inside of the cabinets that the first cleaning lady was supposed to do! The last lady did a good job and left very fast. So, I decided to give Kleanguru another chance to come and clean my house and specifically asked for the lady that came last as she spoke English and was fast and through. I was told she's not available and they sent another lady that didn't speak English either and kept using her phone to translate which was absolutely fine. Again this job was supposed to be 4 hours as there are 2 1/2 bathroom and a kitchen and I wanted the lady to dust everywhere and mop as I have allergies and it's a must. My house is always tidy and clean (just need the deep clean every few months)! Even when we were touring the place she said "it's so clean"! I told her I expected her to clean the first floor for a few hours. And then maybe one to one and half hours upstairs and the basement just needed vacuuming. I assumed she understood as I translated it for her. She started in the kitchen and was talking on her phone a good while. She was there for almost an hour and it's a small kitchen so I excepted to be perfect. However, she didn't even clean under the toaster and other few small appliances as there was crumb there. She didn't even clean the sink well as I had to re-do it myself. She spend another hour or so and then went upstairs and there's a small full bath that she really didn't do anything to except push dirt around as they would say. She didn't even vacuum well. She came to me and said she has only 10 minutes left of the 4 hours and what I wanted to do and I told her to go to the basement and just vacuum that's all. She was there a few minutes and didn't even vacuum the area as you walk in since there was a cobweb I had left to see if she will clean it up. She didn't! She was on her phone constantly. She left and I paid the company directly and when asked I told them she didn't really clean well. I was told that 4 hours was not enough time and they needed another half to one hour more. I sent pictures of the items I mentioned above that wasn't cleaned and they didn't respond. Basically hopefully it'll be better next time with more hours added! Unfortunately, when you deal with such companies and they make money off of their crew, they always find a way to add more hours so they make more money. None of the cleaning people did a good job except the one.

Had a deep clean scheduled for Monday of this week so we could have professional photos of the home…read morethe next day. Initially the email confirmation had the wrong day. We got that figured out. Then we were contacted and asked to move the cleaning, which was not possible since we were having the photos the next day. This too got figured out and they came as scheduled on Monday. Cleaner arrived on time and was very nice. Majority of the deep clean went very very well. I noticed after she left multiple areas on the checklist we were provided on the invoice were untouched. The washer and dryer were not touched. There were areas that were still very dusty, or that were half cleaned. For instance, in my daughter's bedroom the night stand has a recessed area, and only the front half was dusted. If you look in, the back half was untouched. The windowsill in the master bedroom was untouched, the curtains were not opened. The floors in the kitchen and dining room looked like they were not sufficiently scrubbed, as I was able to get what looked like "stuck on dirt" off VERY easily. The TV cabinet had a large mark on the front of it, which I easily wiped off after the cleaner left. The baseboards were also untouched in the kitchen. Honestly, the house looks great, maid green did an excellent job with the bathrooms and making the house sparkle. But the attention to detail just seemed a bit off. I should not have been able to wipe so much dust off of my daughter's dresser. There should not have been a pile of dust left on a desk. I recommend this service but please take your time looking over your home before letting the cleaner go. I was able to finish up all the areas that were missed, but if you won't have time to do a second run, you'll want to make sure that your cleaner has gotten to every area.

They called the day of the appointment asking if they could come an hour early, I said great. The employee showed up and I began "showing" her (apparent language barrier) some things I wanted to make sure were cleaned (wiping out the inside of the empty kitchen cabinets). Even though there seemed to be a language barrier she made it clear she didn't have time to do that because she needed to pick her son up. She appeared a little frazzled (like all working moms) so II said ok, do what you came to do. She stayed very busy working her way through the bedrooms, kitchen and baths and was getting ready to swifter mop the living room. Thinking that the rest of the house was finished after about an hour and a half I told her to leave and go pick up her son. She finished the floor and took the $200 flat fee and left. I am not a picky person by any stretch but I went and checked and discovered she missed at least one ceiling fan and the kitchen backsplash. I called and spoke with Helen who offered the "canned" apologies.. Her solution was to send the same employee back out to my house which I refused because of the language barrier. The service I requested was not completed. I feel for the $200, I didn't get the value but I did get the aggravation.
