Good communication and a swift repair replacement of skylight. Roof was examined and repairs done!

The BEST and Beyond 5 stars! I had a remodel pass through project that was in planning stages for over a year. After receiving several contractor estimates I asked Hale's master dry waller Gerald if the project was a job Hale's could cover. I had no idea all the construction services Hale's Roofing offered. Hale's did such a sensational job on my roof and drywall repairs I had full faith and trust that they would be my top choice. I reached out to Paige at Hale's administration to see if they would accept the project and the response was positive. Ben, Hale's estimator, was once again awesome to work with! He was patient and assisted with my ideas, revisions, and drafting requirements. Ben ultimately presented a bid at an unbeatable competitive price. Once gaining the permit and design plan Hale's went into action immediately. Paige kindly and efficiently handled all the admin. "Felipe" Jose Felipe Martinez the construction manager conducted the project with strong integral leadership, expert professionalism, organization, and accomplished carpentry knowledge. The project expanded "in real time" to include a small closet and door framing which was no problem for the crew and approved by the Building Department. Felipe generously adjusted the pricing to best fit the project scope and I was so grateful for this! Miguel the carpenter and his assistant Francisco produced outstanding carpentry with skilled precision, proficiency, and creativity. Felipe, Miguel, and Francisco were well versed on the technical aspects of the wall cut out, framing, electrical protection, flooring impacts, and visual aesthetics. Then Gerald and Ricky, Hale's drywall guru masters, polished off the project with their amazing drywall skills of excellence and perfection. All staff was 100% solid, kind, honest, courteous, prompt, well presented, trustworthy, and respectful. My floors, furniture, fixtures, and property were nicely protected and immaculate during the entire job. The pass through, closet, and doorway turned out spectacular! I am VERY happy! It's exactly what I wanted and exceeds all hopes and visions. There's even a Two-Year Warranty Maintenance Guarantee on the workmanship performed. THANK YOU so much Felipe, Ben, Paige, Miguel, Francisco, Gerald, and Ricky at Hale's for making my remodel dreams come true! Hale's Roofing has proved to be the #1 referral from my realtor and top reputable licensed general contractor in Verde Valley. read more

Diego Mendoza took care of my roofing issue. Actually, it was a rattling air pipe for the hot water heater that made a mechanical clanking sound. Diego confirmed the appointment date and time in advance, showed up on time then located where the sound might be coming from. The venting pipe was secured with pictures to show the work was done, all within an hour! Even though this was not a roofing issue. Per se, he was glad to assist. read more

We had a great experience in having our roof recoated and shingles replaced with Hale's. Ye they are very far booked out but worth the wait. They were professional, always on time, describes exactly what they were doing each day, and cleaned up extremely well. The project manager Jose was always on site, friendly, and communicative. The roof looks great and we are very happy. Of the quotes we had they were the middle and overage charges for woodwork, attic fans, and paint were fair and explained very well. Les agradezco mucho por tu trabajo fenomenal en nuestro techo. Mil gracias! read more

I was grateful for a quick turnaround when some of my shingles were gone with the wind. Later there was a major hail incident ... phone calls galore to repair the roof. Hale's came out and confirmed there was zero damage ... a far cry from the $35,000 quote. I trust this business. read more

GREAT company! I recently purchased a new house with potential roof issues and my home insurance company required me to get them addressed within 60 days of closing. It was an easy process to make the initial appointment & I received confirmation by email. Dustin called before his arrival & was efficient with his estimate. He ended up fixing the minor things he found on the spot & didn't charge me a dime for his time. In all, he was here about 10 minutes and took care of issues noted on my home inspection report. He took the time to answer my questions & showed me pics of what he found. Completed report should be received within an hour ~ that's service! I will definitely call Hales Roofing if & when I ever need roofing services. They are open, honest, and practice good business - hard to find these days! read more

Very grateful to the Hale's Roofing team of Antonio & Diego. Several tiles blew off during the high winds last week. Antonio & Diego replaced the broken tiles, and secured those that were loose. They also walked the entire roof and found two additional broken tiles. I would highly recommend Hale's Roofing for having professional, courteous, and efficient employees representing their business. read more

After reaching out to a few other roofing contractors who either did not show up, showed up to assess the roof but never provided an estimate, or provided an estimate that was significantly padded, we were at the point of loosing confidence in all construction contractors in N. AZ. But then our neighbor reached out to us. She showed us the work completed on her roof, and she revealed she was the accountant for Hale's Roofing. She advised us of their reputable reputation and advised us to contact them. So we pursued her advice. But interestingly enough, before we made our call, a local business owner with significant insight regarding the local construction community, and in whom we trust, also recommended Hale's Roofing to us. That was it. Hale's was the chosen company. We are certainly glad we listened. From the initial roof assessment, to the actual completion of the much needed repairs, the entire process was beautiful. All we can say is wow! They certainly met our expectations and then some. We can't can't say enough about the professional job they did on our roof, and the way they interacted with us courteously and professionally. Their highly regarded reputation is well deserved. This company has certainly earned our business from now forward. Our Cottonwood home will be in good hands. If you are requiring roofing services, call Hale's Roofing. Don't waste time and energy on the other companies. You won't regret your decision. read more

Excellent work and coordination by the entire staff. Whether we phoned called, texted, emailed, or asked someone to come out and look at something, it was handled right away. Everyone was always on the exact same page. If I called the office or texted the site manager, requesting something, the workers arriving on site knew exactly what I'd asked. Highly recommend, RnA read more

Hale's did a great job on my roof repair. I'd recommend them to anyone. I'm also using them for my gutters. A good roofing company in the Verde Valley. read more

Although Hales' Roofing was not the lowest bid, I chose them because of their 5 year warranty and good reputation. I was not disappointed. Johnny and his crew were there every day, on time, and worked straight through the day with only a little time off for breaks. They were unfailingly polite and considerate. My 1902 SF tiled roof was completed in one week even though the weather was not perfect. Everyone from the business was very professional and responsive. read more

This is a roofing company that does shoddy, incomplete and sub-par repairs. My roof looks like a group of kindergarten kids did the repairs with Elmer's glue and packing tape. Find another roofer if you need repairs. read more

Very very long story short. Quote was in the mid-high range of the three quotes I got for our ridiculous roofs. They work on Madole homes often so they know what they are doing. Tear off has been a saga and i am really satisfied with the effort, attention to detail and work ethic of the crew. I love that they seal as they go for roofs like mine that are extensive amounts of labor during the rainy season. The amount of foam sprayed on my roof reminds me of those corny snow roofs on cliche christmas village attractions. Incredible amount of effort on their part to clean and contain debris. They have shown up crazy early...5am to beat the weather every day. We are so grateful for the work ethic and job they are doing. We will use them again for the other roof sections (we had to cut the job down to sections the roof is so big) we will finish with banking the roof with structural foam for optimal drainage and replacing all fascia with aluminum wrapped 2x10s...an 2" upgrade which will offer better protection. If you want skylights, get them on your own, i ordered through OC skylights in CA and they are drop shipped from Nevada. Get solar skylights for a 26% rebate. The crew is so professional and hard working. We are truly happy we chose Hales. Their experience with our unique architecture made them my first choice, their professional crew and standards will force us to use them again. Word to the wise...never put a foam roof on any house or building unless you are over 70 and expect to die before the life expectancy of the roof expires and thats only if you keep up with repaints. Its total crap and only as good as the elastomeric paint and the crew painting it. I doubt any crew hoses off the dirt pools and rocks from your roof before applying new elastromeric paint too...i have three layers of dirty gravely paint on the foam in some places. Foam roofs screw up drainage and looks hokey. you shouldn't ever walk on it and you must repaint it every few years. Tear off will cost a fortune, its going to blow everywhere at a land fill. It will forever make any brick walls lumpy and cause problems for future roof waterproofing systems, even flashing. Go with Hales, you get what you pay for. Simple. They are giving you good crews and detail oriented finishing, cleanup daily, weatherizing daily, using good materials and keep you informed throughout. I'm still amazed at how much work our tear off is. read more

Tyler Hale and his crew did an outstanding job of replacing my roofing shingles. Rather than try to squeeze you for the max your insurance claim might pay, he provided me a very reasonable cash price for the job with no hassle. His outstanding crew completed my home in a single day and cleaned up the property as if they never were there. The new roof looks outstanding. His price for the job was so reasonable I even upgraded to impact resistant shingles. read more

Great Service! I noticed some water on my floor after our recent rainstorm. I called Hales on Sunday expecting to leave a message. While I was in the process of leaving the message I received a call from Chad. Shorty after Nick O arrived at our home and worked until the issue was found and resolved. Nick was professional, courteous and a pleasure to work with. This was the Best Service we've received in Sedona in the 20 years we've lived here! Thanks to all the Hales Crew! This company is outstanding in every way. They give fair estimates, get the work done expeditiously and the work that they do is excellent. I have used them twice now over a 5 year period (for different reasons) and had a good experience both times. I would not hesitate to use them again if needed. read more

Once again, Hale's did a wonderful job. We had a roof leak, which we were afraid would cost a lot of money. Nick looked at the roof, fixed the problem right away, and charged us nothing. We would never even consider using a roofer other than Hale's. read more

I contacted Hale's just before a big snow storm with a leaky skylight. Dustin came out the next day and found a cracked and worn lens cover. He got a quote out the next day. I schedule the service and they said it would be about two week to order and schedule the work. Well, the came out the next day and had the skylight lens changed out in 30 minutes. I have since had them reseal all my roof penetrations (vents, pipes & such). Friendly, fair, and professional people -- highly recommended. read more

They have worked on our roof several times, the last time was to add rain gutters and rain chains. As always, they were here when they said they would be, they worked hard, we're polite, cleaned up after themselves, and did commendable work. We greatly appreciate them to a person. read more

First off I have to say Hale's was a bit expensive, almost twice as much as other bids, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. We wanted to replace the tile roof on our 3,000 square foot home. There was wood damage and leaks. A day after we signed the contract (and with rain on the way) workers were at our house covering the roof with plastic tarps. The roofers were able to get to our project about a month later after ordering the new tiles. Once begun, the workers were wonderful! The whole crew was polite and meticulous. Every day after working they cleaned up including running a magnet over the property to pick up any stray nails. The roof was finished before our big snow storm and looks amazing! The neighbors keep remarking how good it looks. It feels good knowing we have a weather tight and good looking roof. We couldn't be happier with Hale's. read more

All Hail Hale's! If you are in need of roof repair, maintenance, new roof, or replacement, please hear this: Hale's Roofing is the place to start! I did my homework. New to Sedona and in need of a reliable roofing company, I began my search. Going down the list alphabetically, based on reviews of course, I started calling roofing companies. No one would call me back. I then got a call back from one big company that resulted in a no-show (of the owner no less). Finally, I got to the "H's" and called Hale's. This is where I should have started! From my first friendly and professional conversation with Paige, to my consultation with Dustin and the owner Chad, and on through the completion of my complicated job, Hale's Roofing performed as a top-notch, professional company with customer service and satisfaction as its number one goal. My roof had multiple requirements from maintenance to a PVC gutter replacement to a new (beautiful) metal roof. For each part of the job, Hale's sent crew members (not subs) who specialize in the area. They were all true craftsmen who wanted to do the job right. Needless, to say, I highly recommend that you start your roofing-needs search with Hale's. read more

I highly recommend Hale's for roof leaking repairs. Chad the owner took a hands on approach in scheduling needed repairs on our tile roof. The workmen doing the actual work were prompt and experts in attention to detail!!! Price was competitive. I believe you get what you pay for so the cheapest is not the always the best when it comes to these type of repairs!!! read more

These guys installed a new roof on our house. No Complaints. Everything looks good. They cleaned up well after thew install.

The team was very professional. All the work was done up to and beyond our expectations. They worked well with our a/c guys to do both projects together in a timely matter. The timing was well executed and all the workers were extremely kind. They listened when we had questions or concerns and were quick to remedy such things. I would recommend them to anyone. I am the owner of a flat-roof 4-plex and it needed a new roof. I got several bids from other roofing companies and researched as many references as I could. What I appreciated most about Hale Roofing is how much time they spent with me answering my questions. There are so many options for flat roofs that it was a daunting learning curve. They were so helpful and I felt as if I was able to make an informed decision. During the process they kept me updated and provided pictures of the finished roof. I especially like that they offer a free yearly roof inspection . It's now in my calendar to call Hale the first day of the month of August. Price was not my only consideration, but you will also find them very competitive. Carol H, Sedona read more

My father is 94-years-old and still lives by himself. This year he needed a new roof on his mobile home and called Hale's. Without going into detail as to why the exiting roof wasn't repairable leak free, suffice it say Hales deducted what he spent trying to fix it on the cost of a new metal roof, which he loves. He was really happy with how he was treated, telling me they even paid for reattaching the Dish, and cleaned up beautifully. An excellent company. read more

This is a "shout-out" for Sedona's own Hales Roofing who you may read about at http://www.halesroofing.com/ . They just finished a repair to a section of my roof around on of the valleys. I learned that is the roofers name for were two ajoining plains of the roof come together. Seemed like a major job to me; but they completed it on time, at the agreed amount, and in one day. This was a true win-win contract. They have my endorsement. Thought you would like to know. Call them at 282-4794. They did not charge me to come look at the problem and give me the estimate. read more

A tree fell on my roof last year. I ended up getting the roof replaced. They were very good about showing up and getting things done. The job that was done was very good. They did have to come back and plug some leaks though. What upsets me, is they sawed right through my ceiling when taking the previous roof off. My ceiling is a tongue and groove finished wooden ceiling. They said they would cover the cost of the repairs and would have someone come out and do it. I have been calling them and begging them to have someone come and repair the ceiling to no avail. They called me back once and told me they have a person that was very busy and would get to me the following week. Of course they never got back to me. I called again and was reassured that the repair would be completed immediately. I was going to rent this house out for the summer season. I'm losing approximately $3000 a month in income because they have not completed their job. Should I sue them for lost income? What do you think? read more

It's rare to find a construction company that cares as much about quality of their work as Hale's roofing. Chad Hale and his company just put a metal roof on our Sedona home and did a fantastic job. Tearing off a roof can be a messy job, and the crew did it with care and concern about my landscape and my potted plants. They moved things out of the way and put them back when they were through. What really impressed was the follow up. Chad came back on his own afterwards and inspected the roof for any minor little problems that he saw...and sent his crew back to take care of them. If you need a new roof, we highly recommend Hale's roofing company. read more
